Such a lovely spot with a great atmosphere! I got the matcha latte and it was smooth, creamy, and delicious. I really enjoyed the cozy aesthetic and relaxing vibe. Definitely a place I’d come back to!
Good vanilla iced matcha
We go weekly and it’s reliably good. Great baristas and yummy bagels :)

Field Day Coffee is a popular spot for coffee lovers in San Luis Obispo. With a wide selection of pour overs, including the COLOMBIA RICARDO SILVA and BRAZIL DATERRA options, customers can enjoy high-quality cups expertly prepared by skilled baristas. The coffee shop also offers a variety of pastries, such as the blueberry rosemary scone and the Brown Butter cookie, which pairs perfectly with a cup of coffee. Customers appreciate the relaxed atmosphere and friendly service, with many noting the wonderful experience of sipping coffee from real mugs. While there are some drawbacks, such as limited parking and long lines, Field Day Coffee's charm and vibe make it a top choice.
Visitors love the cool, hippie building where plants can be seen growing through the walls. Many enjoy bringing their dogs, and the staff is often described as kind, although service can be a little slow during busy times. The shop provides ample seating with large communal tables that are great for studying or working, and the outdoor seating area is a bonus, especially when the sun comes out. Overall, Field Day Coffee is a great place to relax and enjoy a fantastic cappuccino or other drinks, even if some customers hope for improvements in the matcha offerings.
