“Stopped for coffee and to squeeze in some work. Ordered the Abuelita's coffee, and though I'm not usually an oat milk fan, it was delicious! The staff was very friendly and welcoming as well. Plenty of tables inside with great music! I do wish they had some quick bites like a croissant or muffin, but other than that, HIGHLY RECOMMEND!“

“Stopped in to caffeinate after a long bike ride and could not have guessed what a treat I was in for. I was looking forward to a simple cold brew but was tempted by the many exciting and thoughtful offerings. I ended up trying the bourbon cold brew with a caramel drizzle, made with coffee beans aged in oak barrels that previously stored whiskey. The barista made the recommendation and generously tinkered with the caramel to coffee ratio to achieve the desired sweetness level. I enjoyed my coffee drink at the tables outside while I soaked up the mid afternoon. This is the life.“

“Great coffee spot in SLO. Very laid-back and spacious with both indoor and outdoor seating in a very zen open air space. They have well-made lattes, but I also was really impressed by their tea. I got an iced version of a hibiscus herbal tea. It was prepared well and not too watered down.

Great spot to come hang out and do work or have a chill catch up with friends. Staff are very nice and welcoming too. They also have a very cute shop of assorted goods next-door, which I enjoyed as well. Definitely one of the best coffee spots in SLO.“

“Such a bright, cheerful atmosphere with the friendliest staff — every visit puts me in a good mood. I love how creative and healthy the drinks are, especially the matcha options. And that’s saying a lot because I normally don’t even like matcha! It’s actually the first place I go every time I visit from San Diego. Everything feels fresh, welcoming, and thoughtfully made. Definitely one of my favorite coffee spots.“

“Had a very positive experience at Scout Coffee. It showed in several travel videos for SLO so I decided to try it while visiting and was not disappointed. This coffee store has a very friendly and relaxed vibe and it is clear the business is frequented by locals and the staff and locals are familiar with each other. It is a nice place downtown to sit and relax while enjoying a well executed coffee drink. The staff is friendly and efficient.“

“Gorgeous place, fantastic service, perfect Turkish coffee, and amazing sweets. I'm always tempted to buy a cup when I am in here, too. They're beautiful.

It's such a great spot to go at the start or end of a dinner or lunch date. The classic lemon Turkish delight is my favorite thing here. You'll get a free little sweet when you order a coffee too.“

“Great coffee served in a warehouse-y environment thats cold, clammy, and blasting music so loud you can’t even think. Some big comfy couches and chairs, rugs on the floor, warm decor, and calmer quieter music would go a long way to make me want to come back in a town with a ton of options. Feels like Starbucks dressed up as a community coffee shop. Also no food in the case by lunch time so if you’re hungry go somewhere else.“

“We make it a priority to stop by SloDoCo every time we are in the area. All of the donuts we've had were delicious and the coffee drinks aren't bad either. Do yourself a favor and grab a maple bar or glazed old fashioned today. You won't regret it.“

“Located right smack in the middle of Julian’s downtown, this landmark café and apple pie shop has a lively old-fashioned diner atmosphere, friendly staff and is bedecked with antique family photos and shelves of jams and sauces for sale. I was expecting a bit more from the food; we ordered the top two items listed on the menu – chicken pot pie turnover in a pie crust with coleslaw and Back Country fried chicken with mashed potatoes. The menu is huge and varied so I think I'd try something else next time.“

“Ate here for breakfast this morning (took my food to go) and was welcomed with such cheer and friendliness by staff I felt immediately very welcomed. I had the Breakfast Burrito, they made it to my liking and, oh my gosh, was it delicious! I also got an apple fritter (for dessert) and it was excellent. It's a superb place to go for breakfast and great coffee and many tasty drinks and I very highly recommend Libertine for breakfast! I can't say enough about how their authentic friendliness and cheerfulness made my day. I wish all restaurants/coffee houses were this kind and friendly. Thank you!“
