“I ordered a white chocolate mocha with a strawberry muffin. The blond haired lady who made my drink set it carefully on the pickup table and walked to the other end of the bar. What I saw was a perfect white heart shape surrounded by the brown mocha in the surface of my drink. I stood there looking at the image, then loudly exclaimed "Thats Awesome !!!". The lady looked back with a smile. Her effort is greatly appreciated. The mocha was delicious. The strawberry muffin was a flavor surprise and also delicious. I've tried other coffee shops in Cayucos, but this is the best. A unique, peaceful shop worth experiencing.Wheelchair accessibility: From the street sidewalk, you'll find a red brick walkway leading to a patio, then a ramp up to the shop door.“
“A warm and inviting little coffee spot run by warm and inviting people! I couldn't resist trying all of their superfood lattes and each one was FABULOUS - the orange was my favorite! Their abundant oatmilk and equally abundant friendliness made this shop a highlight of our stay in Cayucos and a must-visit when we return!“
“We wanted to grab breakfast while in town. We chose this place. We ordered coffee, cocoa, and breakfast sandwhiches. It's really cute with a few seats inside. It's clean and their are coffee and smoothies and a nice variety to choose from. Our breakfast babel and coffee and cocoa hit the stop. The staff was super friendly and we enjoyed our visit here. We recommend you try it out, we would return in the future.“
“Amazing atmosphere combining modern and rustic styles with a California coastal feel. The coffee and food were spectacular and the customer service even better!!! Would godly recommend it for anyone hoping to have a relaxing drink by the beach.“
“Please do yourself a favor and try out this coffee shop! I have tried the vanilla lavender latte and the salted caramel dirty chai and both were SO good! Just went back twice in the same day. The coffee its self is so good and the way the beverages are crafted is perfect. I love the flavorful layer of foam on top of the hot beverages - honestly already thinking how sad I’m going to be once my Morro Bay trips are ends and I won’t have access to this coffee shop anymore.10/10 must try.“
“This is a really nice location right by the bay. The employees were all very sweet and helpful. The location had cool posters and stickers giving it a vibe. The bathroom was clean with funny pictures and the coffee was good. I had a sausage croissant and didn't care for it, but my family liked it. I ordered a fancier drink and it was too sweet for me. My family loved their drinks. I should have stuck to black coffee.“
“As a local, I can say without question that The Foghorn Brewhouse is a fine establishment in our community, run by the most wonderful people of warmth, hospitality and character. The food is excellent, we especially love the tri-tip and buffalo chicken sandwiches and the variety of drinks is on-point. 5-stars all around, highly recommend!!!“
“Looking for a good coffee place in Morro Bay. Google search came up with excellent reviews which led us to this tiny little outlet. Don’t shy away by the outside look, order coffee and go to tasteful decor sitting area and enjoy coffee. Service was fantastic, very personable. Liked the coffee so much, Picked up coffee grounds pack for home. Highly recommend this place.“
“My wife and I walked our dog here. She loved the ambiance and was given a pup cup. Sat outside in the beautiful garden to enjoy some yummy fresh sandwiches. I had an egg and sausage on a plain bagel and she had a plain Jane sandwich on English muffin. Highly recommend. They have a wonderful assortment of coffee and tea drinks and delicious food!“
“i received my order today. absolutely love the variety pack. beautifully packaged exactly what i was expecting. i definitely will be trying My Pumpkin Spice Saturday morning. SLO Roasted Coffee makes the Holidays very special. thank you.“
“What a pleasant coffee shop, exactly what I was looking for in this little town. Came here each morning on our trip. Such a cool, kitschy spot that is warm and inviting, not just by size and decor, but especially by everyone who works there. The stand out for me was the sincerely adorable gentlewoman at the counter. She even remembered my name! Got their chaimayan with a shot of espresso, delicious! Throughout our visits, we had their lox bagel, avocado toast, and BLT. Their food was GREAT and I couldn't ask for more from what presumably was just a coffee shop, but actually a great breakfast spot for us as well!“
“This was my third time at the restaurant and this time I dined in. The staff is always very friendly and welcoming. They were able to answer my questions about the different types of cuisine, including vegan and gluten-free options. - I originally wanted to get the lox and bagel, but the cream cheese was dairy-based. It would be awesome if you would consider carrying a plant-based cream cheese for this dish. - Instead, made a selection of the veggie wrap. I appreciated that they put the sauce on the side. I ate the entire thing, even though it was massive. The whole time I was able to sit and look out over at Morro rock. A very peaceful and quiet ambience. - Normally, I get a juice, but this time I enjoyed a mint tea steamer... Also known as a London fog with mint tea and thought it was prepared quite nicely. I will definitely be returning to this spot and I may get the wrap again. Yum!“
“Took my little one here for his first hot chocolate, they were friendly even in the midst of a crazy holiday rush and made us the most delicious coffee shop hot chocolate (with real melted chocolate) I’ve ever had at a coffee shop at perfect kid temp.“
“These guys were super nice and chill. We got the house tea boba which was really good, boba were nice and soft. The taro milk boba and MB sunrise was also fantastic. We tried all of the taiyaki and they were all fire but the Nutella and cream cheese taro were our favorite.“
“This was a very pleasant surprise. My wife and I vacation in Pismo Beach as often as we can and always stop by Morro Bay to shop and eat. We had walked by the SUN N BUNS BAKERY earlier and thought it looked like a quaint little place. We had just finished dinner down the street and went to our usual spot for an ice cream dessert but they were already closed (Wednesday at about 7:00pm.) We decided to walk to the SUN N BUNS BAKERY to see if they were still open and they were. We were surprised at how quaint it was inside with tables to eat at. We had the Maui Wowie and the serving was a good size. We're not a fan of ice cream that is soft, but this was good and firm. While eating inside the location, my wife saw something interesting in the showcase. It was a dark chocolate covered Twinkie with sprinkles. When on vacation, we will try things we normally wouldn't consider at home. We are so happy we did. It was excellent! We're both in our sixties and it has been decades since we had a Twinkie, but this will make us get it again the next time we visit the area. The two ladies working there were very friendly as well. There is plenty of street parking and a free parking lot just down the street. There are also public restrooms just a short distance away. We will surely return in the future.“
“I'm very picky about food, and their veggie scramble on croissant was absolutely delicious! I highly recommend checking this place for breakfast. Very affordable prices. And the coffee was great too! Service is awesome, nice, and kind girls! Thank you!“
“The food was pretty good. Passing through Morro Bay. You have to go up to the window to order, which is totally fine. They have outside seating, which is totally nice overall had a great experience. If I passed you again, I would eat it again.“
“Without a doubt, this is the best place in town to make a pitstop for coffee/breakfast/wifi lounge. Being a resident here in Morro Bay for 33 years, I am very familiar with all the competition this coffee shop faces and it doesn't take much time or thought to put this place on the top of the list when it comes to deciding where to stop before work.Parking: Plenty of street parking as well as a fairly large parking lot.“
“** Visited on 4/20/2024 The Human Bean's staff is super kind and was very informative. The location is catered more for their drive thru but you are able to park on the curb and walk up to their walk up window. The drive thru isn't incredibly hard to navigate, but it's a little tough to get out of due to the incoming traffic on Morro Bay Bvld. OKAY THE DRINKS: I usually come here for a green tea or chai smoothie- something quick, sweet, and refreshing. But today I was feeling the need for a coffee pick me up. I ended up getting an iced caramel latte with oat milk which was tasty and nice. It wasn't something astonishing but it definitely got the job done :)“
“I love Donald's! In fact I have to travel to this particular one because the food is always fresh , the coffee is fabulous! I live in Atascadero and travel to Morro Bay because if the quality of food and service. Don't go to Atascadero the food is horrible and staff besides a few no bueno !“
“What an amazing place. We have been here twice now on two separate visits. Both times this place is amazing. Great GF options for the wife and girl and amazing pasties for me and the boys.Full coffee bar and the drip dark roast is great also.Outdoor seating is great atmosphere also, covered or out in the sun.AND…The bathrooms were clean and very nice.Go to stop when in town!!!Dietary restrictions: Great Gleuten Free pastries with multiple options.Kid-friendliness: Great patio seating outdoors and clean bathrooms.“
