“I was presently surprised! I haven't been through this little Shack since it became slow rush. There was allot of people there . The car line was back up to the street and there was gang of people there as walk ups. When I got up to the front of the car line I saw it was one guy all bye him self. He got on my vanilla late promptly at the same time helping people out that came on foot. I was impressed. This guy handled his self with Composure and grace. Setting each cup up in front of him making several different kinds of drinks in the few minutes I was at the front. Kudos to this man . Oh and my vanilla late was on point. Bye the way I herd him speak of a pb&j late. I think I'll get that next time“

“My first experience with their Costa Rican Beans: I woke up this morning in Atascadero to a black lab licking my face a child generated chaos, just like any other day. I hear the coffee grinder grinding away in the kitchen and then the un deniable sound of the high speed fruitless spin that comes with running out of beans. I jumped into my pants, hastily walked to the truck to retrieve a little black bag and filled the hopper. I made no adjustments to the machine, pushed in on the portafilter, ground coffee began to gracefully descend from above. I tamped the grounds with a slight rotation of the tamper, engaged the porta filter into the machine and depressed the two shot button. A velvety waterfall descended from the porta filter streaming into my weathered mason jar, a cloud of creama floated above my espresso and then I proceeded to add a deluge of microfoamed whole milk. I then grabbed my cup and floated through the chaos to my recliner, sat down, pulled. The lever, took a sip of this heavenly nectar, closed my eyes and found myself gently swaying in a hammock somewhere in a rainforest in Central America. I could hear the birds and the monkeys playing at symphony just for me I could smell the sweet humidity that follows an equatorial rain, and for just a moment I had peace.“

I/we have eaten inside of locations for breakfast on numerous occasions and this was the first time I was asked for here or to go? I said well here of course. My breakfast came out on a plate! It was even hand delivered by the very friendly/smiling Cathy! My coffee also came out in a great big mug that was also a pleasant surprise! This next level of customer service was unexpected but at the same time I was touched by how special the employees here made it feel like another level of relaxation and exemplary customer service! “I love this place! I was so sad when the Atascadero location closed, but this location took on a majority of the staff members from Atown and they make the visit to SLODOCO as amazing as it is! I love the monthly release of new donuts and I love the atmosphere of the shop! The snickerdoodle donut is and absolute must, and I truly wish for the return of the incredible, awe-inspiring crookie (croissant cookie) sometime in the near future😍 The crookie has my whole heart forever🫶“
