We were lucky to have Ray as our guide—his knowledge and generosity made our visit so much more meaningful. He helped us understand the wines, the winery, and the region in a whole new way. “Moe's Pizza is by far the most outstanding pizza that has ever been in Paso Robles The pizzas are heavy full and they're well worth every cent you spend! highly recommend for any event or even dinner!”

“We were going to go to Robert Hall but it was closed so we decided to go here instead. We were very happy to go here it's a very nice vineyard has a great view and Natalie was great also sugar the dog. Taste of all the wines had a nice comfortable couch outside. We did buy a few came across one that was very interesting remember what it's called mission Angelica very unique flavors very good color and all of us were trying to figure out so many things that we could put it on like ice cream and stuff like that.”

“PIUS Estates is an absolute gem in Paso Robles! The property is stunning with beautiful vineyard views, modern architecture, and so many picturesque spots to relax and take photos. The atmosphere is peaceful, elegant, and perfect for a wine tasting or a relaxing afternoon with friends.

The wines were excellent, and the staff made the experience even better. Everyone was welcoming, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain each pour without making us feel rushed. Every detail of the winery feels thoughtfully designed, from the outdoor seating areas to the landscaping overlooking the vineyards.

If you’re visiting Paso Robles, PIUS Estates is definitely worth adding to your itinerary. I can’t wait to come back!”

She made us feel so welcomed and comfortable. We shared stories but she also gave us space to enjoy and talk. Highly recommend the terrace tasting. The wines were incredible. My only complaint is being from Utah and not being able to join the club, therefore missing out on some of the better wines available. I get the exclusivity and lure to join but maybe exceptions for those that can’t get wine shipped to their homes! I would’ve left with more bottles and a much heavier suitcase!”

We are always impressed by both the winemaker and his work, which is why we joined the club. We are big fans of Lagom, but we equally enjoy Banshee and Akasha. Aly is also one of the main reasons we look forward to each visit—she is truly a treasure. The wines speak for themselves, but it’s the welcoming and personable people at Torrin who truly win us over.”

“One of Paso Robles most famous wineries. A bit touristy, but I think it's a must visit. Good wines and great ambiance. This 2nd visit was just as good as the first. Strictly by appointment only. Beautiful, large property with great views of the hills. Lots of tables outside and some inside as well. Tasting is $50 for 5 wines plus a bonus pour of our choice of some off menu wines that were already open. They are red heavy. All the wines were pretty decent, with the off menu wines being the standouts. They waive the tasting fee if you buy 2 bottles, regardless of price per bottle. Service was pretty good. Our wine guide was nice and informative. Highly recommend”

Chase had great recommendation for places to see, things to do and favorite competiors. He is also a vintage car, motorcycle guy, so talking vehicles was a blast. Of course the wines were excellent. We came on a bike, so we only had room to take 2 bottles home, but look forward to future visits. Highly recommend checking out Nicora!!”

“My spouse and I visited Calcareous in mid-March for a Cabernet tasting that was out of this world. We tasted a variety of wines from different vintages that were all outstanding. Each was beautifully made and are a great value for their price point. Our host, Nate, explained the wine characteristics, production details, and winery history. He expertly answered endless questions about the local wine community and other wine trivia. The whole experience was just great.”

They take the leftover grape skins to make the harder alcohol. Everything was delicious and I was impressed with their philosophy. We bought 2 bottles of their rye and a bottle of their lemoncello to take home. Along with their special blend to make old fashions with. Definitely a place to visit if you are visiting Paso Robles or the surrounding area.”

I’m from Georgia and we don’t got Jack in the box but everytime I visit my Mee Maw and Papá up here in Paso Robles, I love coming to Jack in the box and getting delicious food. “This is our first Winery Tour ever, and Austin Hope was the first winery of our day, so we didn't really know what to expect. Upon arrival, were warmly greeted with a glass of white wine, then escorted to a corner cabana with the backdrop of the vineyard! At first, I was a bit hesitant seating outside because it was March and this year has been unusually cold, but the hostess assured me that they had heat lamps and blankets. Sure enough, with the beautiful flame heat lamp and the soft warm blanket, we were comfortable and cozy, and settled into a wonderful experience. I forgot who was our server, but she was very knowledgeable about the wines, and also personable and caring. She make sure that we were comfortable, and our young daughter had sparkling water in her wine glass so she could (kind of) participate with us. I highly recommend their Charcuterie tray, which has a great assortment of wine, meats and nuts. I love how our server explained the wine at each pour, then leave us ample time to enjoy the glass and talk. She also brought us handwarmers to keep our hands warm. There were so many small caring touches that truly made our first winery tasting experience so wonderful. I'm not much of a wine person, but I ended up loving their wine too. After our tasting at Austin Hope, the other wineries just couldn't compare. Thank you very much for a first winery experience that I will never forget. I will definitely be back!”

“We've been coming here so often that they started remembering what we liked to order. The stout is good and not heavy so I can drink a whole pint and not be dizzy in the slightest. The cheese curds are awesome with the ranch sauce they make. I usually get the wagu burger and add bacon/avocado to the burger. They cook it medium rare and it melts in your mouth. The chicken strips are well seasoned. We love the tacos. The establishment has only been open for a short while and I really already like coming here. We usually get a couple krowlers to go of the stout which they can do with any of their beers on tap.”

“We were so pleased that this place lived up to the hype. We split a 4 item plate between 2 people and had the garlic fries. The garlic fries were loaded with garlic and were amazing! We had different sliders from beef, lamb, and pulled pork. It was all amazing. Beer and wine selection was great too. Great service from Kiki who took the time to educate us on the menu. She's obviously one of their stars. We can't wait go back!”

We have both been to Italy, so our standards for pizza are high. Those standards were exceeded here. “We absolutely love stopping here for the best baked goods, sourdough bread, and sweet treats around. Honestly, the cinnamon rolls here are incredible! If you are driving along Highway 101 doing wine, tasting or beer tasting in the area and you want a sweet treat - this is the place! It’s also incredible just for locals to pop by and grab a loaf of sourdough bread, English muffins, or any of their other pastries as well. It’s not too sweet, it’s just right!”

Everything we tried was delicious, but I’d definitely recommend the hummus or baba ghanoush with warm pita, the souvlakis, spiced carrots, and eggplant schnitzel. The olive oil cake was also pretty amazing.

Patrick, our waiter, was super friendly and welcoming, and Vince, the sommelier, was fantastic. He really knew the menu and took the time to ask what kinds of wines I usually enjoy before suggesting a few great options. His recommendations paired so well with the food and honestly made the whole meal even better. Vince was not only great at his job, but he also made the night feel fun and relaxed.

The brand of coffee is superb, and Katie, the barista, knows her stuff and is super cool and friendly.
This is by far the best hotel option in Paso Robles. Walking distance to all things downtown. A great 805 vibe!”
