“Our tasting and lunch was wonderful. Good wines. Morgan was very knowledgeable and informative. We learned so much about Italian wines. We will be back definitely.”
“Delicious and creative plant-based food combining great flavor with heart. I love the spicy Buffalo Chicken sandwich, the black bean taquitos, the Avalon burger with arugula and vegan Gouda cheese (!), and the avocado taco! Want to try everything on the menu! 5-stars for flavor, creativity, service, and location! Love Ziggy’s!!”
“An umami pairing experience with LXV Wine and Bakersfield’s Noodle Bar. LXV owners and the chef from Noodle Bar matched the wines and meals perfectly👌🏼Pairings with LXV Wine is a must do experience!”

“Such a great spot, came on Friday evening and the setting is just wonderful! Live music and ordered one of everything on the menu and seriously couldn’t pick a favorite. Everything was so well prepared, and delish! Lovely atmosphere, food, wine, and the owners are fabulous!”
“We enjoyed the “NEW and improved” Pour House this afternoon! 🥰music, beverage selection and thoughtful stage and dance floor layout…..but the hydraulic, sleek new, unstable, teetering bar stools with equally precarious tables covered with stretchy fabric were an annoyance from the start.
One of us is unsighted and we seek out establishments that are SAFE for him due to the ever-looming fall risks.
We opted for the wicker bar chairs which snagged my clothing…….
We have patronized the POUR HOUSE from its start when it was in the Firestone Walker “hood”.
Please consider safety first, as we are musicians that have performed on the many incarnations of the PH stage, we hope the PH continues to be a comfortable (safe) place for all who seek a pour!!!”
“One of my favorite places to hang out. The bartender and owners are always welcoming. The pool tables are well maintained and the beer is always cold. If you want a place to hang out and play pool without being bothered, this is the spot.”
“We RV all over the United States and one of our favorite meals is sushi. So we tried Goshi , great selection of cooked and sushi type meals…. super nice people , great sushi chefs on the counter. highly recommended good value for the dollar.”
“We had an absolutely fabulous visit and tasting. The wine is outstanding and Pixie was the most knowledgeable tasting room host we've had in California. A delight.”

“We usually share our reviews on Tock or Cellarpass, but we wanted to note here how special Torrin is if you’re ever visiting the Paso area. We are always impressed by both the winemaker and his work, which is why we joined the club. We are big fans of Lagom, but we equally enjoy Banshee and Akasha. Aly is also one of the main reasons we look forward to each visit—she is truly a treasure. The wines speak for themselves, but it’s the welcoming and personable people at Torrin who truly win us over.”
“Somm’s Kitchen was the highlight of our trip to Paso and set the bar so high that you’d need to remove and raise the roof. Ian creates an incredibly inviting atmosphere to celebrate the wine and food experience. Listening to how his mind goes from imagining a dish to actually creating it is so cool and fun. We love a chefs tasting experience and Ian created one that stands apart in a very good way.”
“We arrived 30 minutes prior to our reservation with hopes they could accommodate, and they did without any fuss, which helped our schedule. Iddy was a great host, knowledgeable on all the wine and art and a great story teller. Reception isnt the greatest in the area so plan accordingly.”
“Timing, as they say, is everything in life, & it really worked to our advantage, at this lovely vineyard.
On 1/18/26, My partner & I rolled into Paso Robles at 2:30pm. I'd gotten my wires crossed in a text link, thinking we were gonna to meet our best friends, to taste wines at Booker Vineyards. Turns out, they wanted us to meet them at Taste Craft Eatery. When we tried to check in, at the host station, they politely told us there were no tasting slots available-the place was hopping!
Fast forward to the next day, 1/19/26, our reserved wine tasting day at Booker Vineyards. My friend, whose a Booker Wine Club Member, had scheduled a tasting for us, at 11:30a.m. With bright blue skies, & feathery streaked clouds overhead, all 4 of us sauntered up the sloped walkway, to Booker Vineyards Tasting Area.
Jonah, collected our friend's name & tasting time. We then followed Jonah to the top of the concrete walk, to the Terrace Level Tasting Room, with spectacular views of several steep rounded hills, covered in evenly-spaced rows of wine grape vines. Belts of green vegetation, spurred on by abundant early rains, grew between each row.
The views from this spot were absolutely mind-blowing. I couldn't believe our luck, in that we were the only people wine tasting, in this private, open-air space, plus it had the best views, by far, of all the wine tasting areas.
In a matter of minutes, Jonah became our best friend. He asked us where we lived, & this was the icebreaker, to open up the many stories that followed, rapid-fire, once the tastings of delicious Booker Wine started flowing.
Jonah told us all about Booker Vineyards: The winery's origin, detailed knowledge about each wine, plus he shared some personal knowledge, about himself, all done with his youthful enthusiasm. It was easy to be sucked in, to his extreme love of wine.
The most interesting part of the tasting, for me, was tasting Vertigo 2022, which was a dry year, vs Vertigo 2023, when there was lots of rain.
Well, as it turned out, the guys in our group, loved the 2022, & the gals loved the 2023 best.
Vertigo 2022, was my favorite wine, of the 4 Booker Wines, we tasted.
After the tasting, Jonah took us on an amazing tour, through Booker's wine cave, which was so impressive. Their wine cave was far nicer, than a wine cave we'd visited, in Sonoma CA. The most fascinating feature here, was a private tasting room, The Cave Room, This unique room, had 2 plush couches, & stone table, centered in the middle of the room. The back wall of this intriguing room, had an open-faced view of the layered Limestone, which this cave was dug through. You could even see water trickling down the jagged stone face, in several places.
Next was a super cool golf cart ride, across this vast wine estate, in which Jonah described which wine grapes were grown, in each area, plus he pointed out their oak tree forest, which was preserved, when they designed Booker Vineyards. He gave us so much knowledge, all while driving the golf cart.
It was a once-in-a-lifetime wine tasting, & I want to personally thank Jonah, for this incredible experience, which all four of us wine tasters loved. It simply couldn't have been
better, or more fun! I took home a bottle of Vertigo 2022, & I'll enjoy the heck out of it, the lucky day I uncork it.
Bravo Jonah, & Booker Wines!”
“Came here of Sunday morning. The young lady working was so friendly and welcoming. The wine was really good. Their reds were some of my favorite. The gernache was awesome. I also enjoyed the Zin. The wines were membership worthy.
One thing that made the experience even nicer was the outdoor patio. It was very kind friendly. Had nice seats with a fire.
I definitely recommend checking this place out. I bought a bottle of their holiday wine for Christmas. It was a perfect visit.”
“Just had an amazing experience at Eberle. Kirk, our tasting guide, possessed a wealth of knowledge about the vineyard and its history. He could not have been more entertaining, informative, and just generous with his time and tasting! Thoroughly enjoyed all the wines- all the reds have elegance and depth- but are less in your face than some California reds, but so smooth, lovely and enjoyable. We will be back!! In the day and age when everywhere is reservations only and super pricey, Eberle is a breath of fresh air- with years of quality to back up their stellar reputation.”

“Omgggg I just love me some chicken tenders from Jack in the box. I’m from Georgia and we don’t got Jack in the box but everytime I visit my Mee Maw and Papá up here in Paso Robles, I love coming to Jack in the box and getting delicious food. I tried the Smash Jack this time and it was so good 10/10 and the workers were so quick and attentive.”
“Celebrated our anniversary here. We had the chef’s tasting menu with wine pairings. Attentive and knowledgeable staff, wonderful courses, and beautiful surroundings.”

“Great sushi spot in Paso Square! They are open later than other local sushi restaurants. Plus the fish is fresh and delicious. Served seaweed salad and pickled cucumbers as a side with pickled ginger. A huge plus on my end!!!!
Staff is friendly and this is a great spot for later night food mid week!”
“We're not locals, but we stopped in at poke places like we usually do when we travel. Everything was fresh and delicious. And all the toppings and protein powders were great too. Delicious fresh food, friendly staff, fast service. Small bowl 12.99; medium bowl 15.99; large bowl 18.99. I recommend 👍😋”
“My spouse and I visited Calcareous in mid-March for a Cabernet tasting that was out of this world. We tasted a variety of wines from different vintages that were all outstanding. Each was beautifully made and are a great value for their price point. Our host, Nate, explained the wine characteristics, production details, and winery history. He expertly answered endless questions about the local wine community and other wine trivia. The whole experience was just great.”

“We wanted a place in Paso Robles near the freeway that we could stop and have pizza on the way home from seeing Hearst Castle with our family. Well not only did we find a pizza place, we found a really good one and from the amount of business they where doing on a Wednesday evening I would say many people agree! It is locally owned and operated by friendly, helpful people who know how to make great food. Now if only they would open one in the Fresno/Clovis area.”
“First time coming here the other night . I have to say the service was top notched and our waiter was great . I had the lasagna it was delicious . My mother had the eggplant Parmesan and she said it was really good and my dad had the special something with sausage and that was really good as well . If you like Italian food you must come try them they are in tin city Paso .definitely will be back”
“Had breakfast today Sunday. I'd been telling my wife about it and finally took her to Joe's place at the airport. Food was excellent and the service (waitress #16) was very kind and caring. The reason I gave Atmosphere only 2 stars and not 5 stars was because of the horrible noise the waitresses were making moving tables and chairs for the next party. Dragging chair's and tables across the floor totally disrupted our breakfast so loud was the noise that I had to apologize to my wife. I suggest they PICK UP THE CHAIRS AND TABLES to move them. Totally ruined our meal. Don't think we will be back.”
“Great tasting experience with Stan. Exotic wines and incredible ports.”

“If you want a good sandwich, Savage Spirits & Deli is the place to go. I went in there late after they closed the kitchen expressing my dismay that I could not find a good sandwich in Paso Robles. The young lady working behind the counter said as long as you don’t want it heated I’ll make you any sandwich you want. She proceeded to make me an Italian sandwich that I must say is one of the very best that I’ve ever had. Highly recommended!”
“Made a pit stop at Paso Robles, and I thought, some hot noodle soup sound good for a cold weather. I was kinda skeptic 🤨 thinking it’s a Thai restaurant and not Vietnamese. But it did not disappoint. The broth alone was tasty. A single serving can feed two. And I like how they served on the side, generous amount of basil, Mung bean sprouts, lime, and jalapeño (for added kick).”
“The food was really good. All the tacos we had were full of flavor and had a great balance of savory, citrus, and spice. My only complain is the tortillas. For the price per taco I was hoping for a homeade tortilla.
Other then that it was amazing. We will definitely be coming back!”
“Love this little Gem of a place with super friendly staff! Mr. RON the owner, understands that taking care of customers is top priority, that's why, if you drink too much? There's a limo service provided to safely take you home! Everyone is family here. Great bands, great friends, great fun ! Thanks for many fun memories :)”
“Great view, lots of wine options, and great staff. Thank you Cassie for answering our questions, and making our wine tasting experience fun!”
“The guy that usually works in the evening drew he is a hard worker very friendly and has a great attitude. I highly recommend you promote him as a manager. He goes above and beyond for customers and great smile way to go, Andrew.”

“This is our first Winery Tour ever, and Austin Hope was the first winery of our day, so we didn't really know what to expect. Upon arrival, were warmly greeted with a glass of white wine, then escorted to a corner cabana with the backdrop of the vineyard! At first, I was a bit hesitant seating outside because it was March and this year has been unusually cold, but the hostess assured me that they had heat lamps and blankets. Sure enough, with the beautiful flame heat lamp and the soft warm blanket, we were comfortable and cozy, and settled into a wonderful experience. I forgot who was our server, but she was very knowledgeable about the wines, and also personable and caring. She make sure that we were comfortable, and our young daughter had sparkling water in her wine glass so she could (kind of) participate with us. I highly recommend their Charcuterie tray, which has a great assortment of wine, meats and nuts. I love how our server explained the wine at each pour, then leave us ample time to enjoy the glass and talk. She also brought us handwarmers to keep our hands warm. There were so many small caring touches that truly made our first winery tasting experience so wonderful. I'm not much of a wine person, but I ended up loving their wine too. After our tasting at Austin Hope, the other wineries just couldn't compare. Thank you very much for a first winery experience that I will never forget. I will definitely be back!”
“We've been coming here so often that they started remembering what we liked to order. The stout is good and not heavy so I can drink a whole pint and not be dizzy in the slightest. The cheese curds are awesome with the ranch sauce they make. I usually get the wagu burger and add bacon/avocado to the burger. They cook it medium rare and it melts in your mouth. The chicken strips are well seasoned. We love the tacos. The establishment has only been open for a short while and I really already like coming here. We usually get a couple krowlers to go of the stout which they can do with any of their beers on tap.”

“we were there on monday 18th for tasting along with char board. it was Amazing! the views were fabulous! wine and food excellent and our wine pro Paul was truly a pleasure to learn from! after our tasting and food we moved over to small seating areas along the edge overlooking the surrounding hills and vineyard and shared more wine! truly a magical day. Thank u Paul and Daou team!!”
“We thoroughly enjoyed our meal here—every dish was excellent and beautifully prepared. However, we were surprised when the bill arrived and seemed much higher than expected.
The issue stemmed from the wine list. We ordered what we believed were $12 glasses of wine, but the wine we selected was listed at $12 for a 3-ounce pour and $24 for a 6-ounce pour. It was the only white wine on the menu presented this way, and we were served the 6-ounce pours without being asked which size we preferred.
To the restaurant’s credit, the manager handled the situation graciously and adjusted the bill, which we greatly appreciated. We left satisfied and would return. I’m sharing this simply as a heads-up to future diners: take a close look at the wine list and, if there’s any uncertainty, ask about the pour size before ordering.”
“A wonderful place to get brunch, lunch, or dinner at the park in Paso Robles. You can get one to four small items and pick and choose, we tried the salmon salad, burger in paradise, bacon and cheddar Mac and cheese, and the regular shoestring french fries. Everything was freshly made and delicious, prices are reasonable considering the location in Paso Robles. They have a full bar, indoor seating, and a balcony seating area. Staff were friendly and attentive. Overall I can highly recommend this dining destination.”
“We just had Dinner after not going for a long time and we had the pizza and the bacon bleu burger but the best thing was Tyler he was an excellent waiter server. The dinner was great the atmosphere was great it was a good idea to go there much better than the first time when they first opened highly recommend you go back if you didn’t like it the first time. Thanks Tyler you were the best!!!”

“Amazing cocktails. Wonderful staff and amazing atmosphere. Would advise to anyone looking for unique drinks with informative staff. Staff is always more than happy to share how and what is in the cocktails if you are like me a cocktail enthusiast. 5 out 5 from me.”

“I absolutely adore this coffee shop! Great location, wonderful atmosphere, run by talented people. It is evident that Mackay, one of the owners, paid great attention to detail and design as well. This has become my husband and I’s new coffee place. Five stars all around!”
“Delicious breads and pastries. The flavored sour dough loaves are great and their Scones are outstanding. Usually two sweet and one savory flavors each week with a rotating menu. The Brownies are very tasty and large enough for two servings. I'm addicted to the Garlic Sour Dough loaf, but they were out last time i was there so grabbed a Jalepeno cheddar loaf which was equally tasty and now Im conflicted. Only caveat is the cost....”
