“SO surprised Goshi Paso Robles doesn't have better reviews. We've loved this place for many years, and while there have been some changes over time (raised prices, new decor & tables/chairs that cost money, numerous staffing changes, somewhat smaller portions over time), the one constant has always been quality sushi. And if you've ever had bad sushi, you know how important quality is! So much to love about their menu: Appreciate the extensive list of specials. Yellowtail Tataki appetizer is delicious. The hand rolls are incredible. And they have actual wasabi if you ask - not just the green horseradish paste! Excellent green iced tea. Generous ginger palate cleanser. Nigiri servings are exquisite. Edible art - each bite is to be savored. I'd be there every week if I could! Definitely the best sushi in town & better than every sushi place I've tried in the Bay Area. A true Central Coast gem.“
“Stopped here doing the Bay to LA drive and this place was worthy of both of those places without the hefty pricetag. Paso is lucky to have a place like this. Generous portions, great service, friendly staff. Will make this a repeat stop if I get there within store hours.“
“Went here with a group of five we were sat quickly however, from that point on the service slow down. I am assuming that our server was new, just by his demeanor and shyness. He was very attentive, but did have to ask questions several times. We had to get up to find him so we could order our food and also at the end of our meal to get our bill. The food was OK. Not the best sushi I have eaten, but it was good. We would definitely revisit this place again in the future. Always willing to give everyone a second try.“
“The previous night I got sushi from UMI down the street…..it was awful. I decided to try another sushi restaurant the next night but was skeptical…this did not disappoint. Got two rolls and miso soup. Under five minutes to get my order. Super yummy, flavorful and fresh. Highly recommend if visiting Paso Robles!“
