“Absolutely wonderful. Jackie, Steve and Anna are just incredible and kind. Wines are stunning and beautiful. Bring your own lunch and enjoy the beautiful outdoor. The family will stop by and meeting them is a treat. Shared favorite restaurants and all about their wine making process. Def must stop here when in Paso! Make it a must stop.“

“Went for lunch on a weekday. Good food, good service. But there was music playing, too loud in my opinion. Not 'background music' at at that volume level. And it was obviously a free streaming service because about every 3 minutes, you heard a minute of commercials. Then, half the time a song would be interrupted in the middle of the song with either a commercial, or...another song. About 15 minutes in, we heard the same song that was playing when we walked it. Weird and annoying.“
“This winery provided a 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon for our local nonprofit event and it was absolutely delicious. We appreciate the subtle flavors and generosity!“
“Beautiful wine in a rustic welcoming setting. This is a must see💕“
“There's something about visiting Alta Colina that feels less like a tasting and more like coming home. From the moment you arrive, Bob, Maggie, Melissa (and Jesse!) make you feel like part of the family. It's not just friendly service; it's genuine care and attention that turns every visit into something fun!
The wines are thoughtfully made; fresh, expressive, and clearly crafted with intention rather than ego. Bob and Maggie embody that same philosophy: humble, kind, and effortlessly welcoming in a way that's increasingly rare.
And Melissa? She elevates the entire experience. Attentive without hovering, knowledgeable without being pretentious...she just gets it.
If you're looking for a place that pairs excellent wine with warmth and authenticity, this is it. We love you guys!“

“Great wine, people & entertainment 😊🍷“
“After having a disappointing experience at another winery nearby, we called Willow Creek to see if they could accommodate us without a reservation—and they were incredibly kind and welcoming from the start. Erica was an absolute delight and made us feel genuinely taken care of. The tasting experience was elevated by thoughtful food pairings, which made it feel extra special.
From the moment we arrived, we felt at home. The wine was fantastic, and the overall experience exceeded our expectations. It was exactly what we were hoping for to celebrate my birthday weekend. We loved it so much that we ended up joining the wine club. Highly recommend for both the quality of the wine and the warmth of the hospitality.“

“What a great stop! Not only was the wine amazing, but the story behind the business was incredible. Lacey ran the wine tasting for myself and the other 3 people in our group. She was engaging, fun, and so knowledgeable!! She also gave us great recommendations for our (first) Paso trip! Made our stop so great!“
“Wine tasting was fabulous! Everyone was so friendly and informative about the wine.“
“Just opened a Sangiovese Reserva that I cellared from 2015 which proved to be an excellent wine. Smooth, fruity with good medium body and paired well with a pasta bolognese dish. Decanted for about an hour before the meal but got even better as the time went on. Only wished I had another bottle, very pleased with this winery and it's staff. Thank you Morgan!“
“Our experience was absolutely delightful! The staff was remarkably attentive and genuinely friendly, setting a fantastic tone. We loved the live music and found the beautiful atmosphere incredibly uplifting. The refreshing wine we selected perfectly complemented the whole ambiance. Highly recommend!“
“An umami pairing experience with LXV Wine and Bakersfield’s Noodle Bar. LXV owners and the chef from Noodle Bar matched the wines and meals perfectly👌🏼Pairings with LXV Wine is a must do experience!“
“Excellent tasting
We were familiar with some of the wines produced at Tablas Creek and decided to have their Legacy Tasting. Matt was an excellent and informative host. He even gave us some extra wines to taste because he could see that we were definitely interested. Some people may have issues with Tablas Creek wines because they are not classic California types. However, they represent superb examples of Rhône-style wines. Let’s hear it for diversity!“
“Just got back from a fantastic weekend in Paso Robles. The highlight was a visit to the Steinbeck Winery. The ride on Willy the jeep, the incredible staff, the delicious wine, the beautiful grounds, the relaxing, unrushed charm of this family owned winery makes it a true gem. Thank you Cindy and family for such a memorable experience. We will see you again!“
“An excellent and personal experience with stunning views and wonderful down to earth people. Wines ranging from whites to rosé’s to red, both light to exceptional on the pallet. Out of five stars, I give Loma Seca winery 10.“
“My wife and went to Volatus based on reviews and we are adding 5 star. Daniel our wine guide was fantastic. Great knowledge of wines and the Paso Robles area. We went on a Wednesday so we had the tasting room to ourselves. The red wines were full bodied and are drinking very well now, and will age nicely. Daniel explained we are in a slow period ( just a few days) as the wine festival had just passed and we are entering Memorial day weekend. The vibe and energy was excellent. Cheers to the owner and all he does.“
“Great tasting experience with Stan. Exotic wines and incredible ports.“

“My husband and I went to dinner last night for the first time in a long time and let me say the food and drinks here were wonderful and from the moment we walked up the host out front I believe she said her name was Cali was SO sweet and welcoming! We will definitely be going back thank you to everyone who helped us :)“
“Beautiful wines! Nick (winemaker) led our tasting and he was just as awesome as the wines he makes. We immediately joined and are happy members! If you love Syrah, Nick knocks it out of the park. Most memorable surprise was his Grenache. SO good!! Check out Nicora!“

“Friendly staff, a pup to greet you and reasonably priced for a flight. I’m a sweet cider fan and all they have is dry but the slushy (watermelon flavor) was fantastic! I’d personally like smaller tastes and more to taste than bigger tastes with fewer to select. More like 6-2 ounce than 4-3 ounce. Just my personal preference!“
“Nice, small, quaint winery. All the wines were great. We especially loved the Zinfandel! There was a problem with our order and they made it right quickly! I suggest if you’re in the area, stop in and enjoy the wine. Buy a bottle, or a case!“
“To the ladies that helped us out today, you are as beautiful on the inside as you are the outside! To one Congratulations on college graduation and the other enjoy the your new position. We really enjoyed the both of you. God bless you and your futures!“
“What’s not to love about Fratelli Perata? As soon as you drive up, you are transported to Italy, gazing upon miles of rolling hills of vineyards as you get out of your car. Walking in, classic Italian music plays softly as one of the Perata family members greets you. The tasting menu is unique for Paso, focusing mainly on Italian varietals - and what lovely expressions they are. You’ll learn about the Perata family history while sipping on yummy Barbera and Sangiovese. You’ll want (at least) one of every bottle before you leave, guaranteed. We can’t wait to come back!“
“Great wines and wonderful people. We had a gathering of 20 here this week and were served with such warmth, knowledge and fun. The owners shared the history of the property. We had WONDERFUL red wines and yummy pizza. I would strongly recommend making the journey to Dubost!“
“Incredible wine and beautiful winery!“
“Came here of Sunday morning. The young lady working was so friendly and welcoming. The wine was really good. Their reds were some of my favorite. The gernache was awesome. I also enjoyed the Zin. The wines were membership worthy.
One thing that made the experience even nicer was the outdoor patio. It was very kind friendly. Had nice seats with a fire.
I definitely recommend checking this place out. I bought a bottle of their holiday wine for Christmas. It was a perfect visit.“

“Beautiful tasting room (shared with Boutz) although I can’t wait until their own tasting room opens up. Hannah helped us out and was so knowledgeable, informative, and helpful. We really appreciated the high level of service as well as the wines and were especially drawn to their 100% single vintage varietals. So delicious and elegant. Their Dark Pool also just made Jeb Dunnuck’s list of top 100 wines for 2025. Go there and enjoy!!“

“Food was fantastic!! By far best Mediterranean in North County. I orders the tri tip sandwhich which was 10/10 with great mix of flavor and spices. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food took a little long to come out, but it felt very freshly made and well worth the wait. Will be back again to try other dishes on the menu!“

“We enjoyed the “NEW and improved” Pour House this afternoon! 🥰music, beverage selection and thoughtful stage and dance floor layout…..but the hydraulic, sleek new, unstable, teetering bar stools with equally precarious tables covered with stretchy fabric were an annoyance from the start.
One of us is unsighted and we seek out establishments that are SAFE for him due to the ever-looming fall risks.
We opted for the wicker bar chairs which snagged my clothing…….
We have patronized the POUR HOUSE from its start when it was in the Firestone Walker “hood”.
Please consider safety first, as we are musicians that have performed on the many incarnations of the PH stage, we hope the PH continues to be a comfortable (safe) place for all who seek a pour!!!“

“If you're a wine enthusiast looking for something truly special, Diablo Paso is a must-try. Trust me, your taste buds will thank you! Be sure to ask for Deb when you visit the tasting room. She’s incredibly friendly and can provide expert guidance on the wine selection.“
“Timing, as they say, is everything in life, & it really worked to our advantage, at this lovely vineyard.
On 1/18/26, My partner & I rolled into Paso Robles at 2:30pm. I'd gotten my wires crossed in a text link, thinking we were gonna to meet our best friends, to taste wines at Booker Vineyards. Turns out, they wanted us to meet them at Taste Craft Eatery. When we tried to check in, at the host station, they politely told us there were no tasting slots available-the place was hopping!
Fast forward to the next day, 1/19/26, our reserved wine tasting day at Booker Vineyards. My friend, whose a Booker Wine Club Member, had scheduled a tasting for us, at 11:30a.m. With bright blue skies, & feathery streaked clouds overhead, all 4 of us sauntered up the sloped walkway, to Booker Vineyards Tasting Area.
Jonah, collected our friend's name & tasting time. We then followed Jonah to the top of the concrete walk, to the Terrace Level Tasting Room, with spectacular views of several steep rounded hills, covered in evenly-spaced rows of wine grape vines. Belts of green vegetation, spurred on by abundant early rains, grew between each row.
The views from this spot were absolutely mind-blowing. I couldn't believe our luck, in that we were the only people wine tasting, in this private, open-air space, plus it had the best views, by far, of all the wine tasting areas.
In a matter of minutes, Jonah became our best friend. He asked us where we lived, & this was the icebreaker, to open up the many stories that followed, rapid-fire, once the tastings of delicious Booker Wine started flowing.
Jonah told us all about Booker Vineyards: The winery's origin, detailed knowledge about each wine, plus he shared some personal knowledge, about himself, all done with his youthful enthusiasm. It was easy to be sucked in, to his extreme love of wine.
The most interesting part of the tasting, for me, was tasting Vertigo 2022, which was a dry year, vs Vertigo 2023, when there was lots of rain.
Well, as it turned out, the guys in our group, loved the 2022, & the gals loved the 2023 best.
Vertigo 2022, was my favorite wine, of the 4 Booker Wines, we tasted.
After the tasting, Jonah took us on an amazing tour, through Booker's wine cave, which was so impressive. Their wine cave was far nicer, than a wine cave we'd visited, in Sonoma CA. The most fascinating feature here, was a private tasting room, The Cave Room, This unique room, had 2 plush couches, & stone table, centered in the middle of the room. The back wall of this intriguing room, had an open-faced view of the layered Limestone, which this cave was dug through. You could even see water trickling down the jagged stone face, in several places.
Next was a super cool golf cart ride, across this vast wine estate, in which Jonah described which wine grapes were grown, in each area, plus he pointed out their oak tree forest, which was preserved, when they designed Booker Vineyards. He gave us so much knowledge, all while driving the golf cart.
It was a once-in-a-lifetime wine tasting, & I want to personally thank Jonah, for this incredible experience, which all four of us wine tasters loved. It simply couldn't have been
better, or more fun! I took home a bottle of Vertigo 2022, & I'll enjoy the heck out of it, the lucky day I uncork it.
Bravo Jonah, & Booker Wines!“

“We're not locals, but we stopped in at poke places like we usually do when we travel. Everything was fresh and delicious. And all the toppings and protein powders were great too. Delicious fresh food, friendly staff, fast service. Small bowl 12.99; medium bowl 15.99; large bowl 18.99. I recommend 👍😋“
“I'm obsessed! The wine, service, and grounds are nothing short of outstanding. Ascunsion Ridge is a small operation run by beautiful, honest people that love what they do. Each wine I sampled was complex and beautifully balanced. Everything was beyond my expectations and I loved my time here so much I couldn't help but sign up for a membership. “Levo Wine in Tin City is an absolute gem. We stopped in shortly before closing with our son, and the hospitality couldn’t have been better. They were incredibly welcoming and made us feel like family, even though it was only our second tasting room visit ever.
Bret, the winemaker, is a great guy. We instantly connected over his ties to Eagle, Idaho (where my parents live), which made the experience even more special. Huge shoutout to Lexi as well. She was an awesome host on both visits and was extremely friendly and accommodating.
Bret’s wines were outstanding across the board. We especially loved the 2024 El Paso de Robles White, the 2021 Fasten Your Seatbelt Syrah (absolutely incredible), and the 2022 Willow Creek District red blend. Thoughtful, balanced, and beautifully made.
The space is clean, modern, and vibrant, and their creative marketing really stands out across social, their website, merch, and overall brand presence. We enjoyed it so much that we joined the wine club on the spot and are excited to have Levo in our regular rotation as we move from SLO to Atascadero.
Highly recommend! Fantastic wine, great people, and a 10/10 experience.“
