“We have been members for a few years now. Love it! We had another a great tasting experience Sunday Feb 26. Lexi is an awesome host. The wines are excellent; perfect balance of elegance, finesse, and body. Bret is doing a great job. Highly recommend a visit on your next trip through Tin City!“
“We first discovered Copia in 2020 and instantly fell in love with all the wine and everyone that works there! We come back at least once a year and each time there's something new, they're always growing, and their passion grows with them! The small band of employees remember you and make sure you're having a great time. I love the Source, it's my favorite red, and my husband like the White. I would recommend doing their wine food pairing, it's like little gourmet plates that bring out the wine so so well! This is our first wine membership, and we're so happy with our choice!“
“As a man from Tennessee and a lover of soul food, I can tell you, you'll not find any better than here. Dubs has the best chicken and catfish this side of the Mississippi and a strong contender for the other side. The atmosphere is laid back with some good tunes, and Dub walking around and talking with everyone and treating them like family. I can't recommend this place anymore cause they don't allow anymore more stars. Plus the portions are grandma size.“
“If you're into sipping wine with a view, you gotta check out Stillwater, their patio is the real deal with stunning vineyard views.Once we sat down, we were served with complimentary olives and crackers. They grow their own olives and they're super delicious but too bad they don't sell them.We were told that post-covid, they used to host weddings now they are hosting music events instead. We tried their blanc, grenache, merlot, and blend and we were impressed with the wines. We ended up getting a few bottles of their rose, white, and red to take home. Stillwater is one of the best spots for wine tasting. Super chill vibe, awesome wine, and that view is definitely worth a visit! It's dog-friendly and our dog loves this winery too!“
“Best breakfast fresh hot real seasoned food mouth watering melted cheese omelettes bacon cooked perfect hash browns your way and the pancakes are made to come back for. Kids loved the food. People actually greet me all the time. They care type of “
“Four Lanterns offers a beautiful setting to enjoy their variety of wines. We tasted both white and red wines and loved them all! Mary K was very informative about each wine and helpful with our selections and shipping options. I will definitely be back again. Thank you Mary K for your wealth of knowledge and warm hospitality.“
“Best vegan food in the county hands down. It's the only vegan place I have been to that not only tastes good but the meat and dairy substitutions do not hurt your stomach. The Vreamery does it right and I always recommend this place to everyone even if you're not vegan. They also sale all their plant based ingredients so you can make your own vegan meals at home. 12/10 I recommend the artichoke panini and the caprese panini!“
“Isolated small campus villa where the grapes are grown, and the rooms are really nice. There are two Tesla home chargers available for EVs. Complementary breakfast was excellent, served buffet style and crafted by their chef. Notably, bacon pancakes were airy and had structure to keep them light. Other morning treats make the breakfast a multi act show. Highly recommend.“
“From the moment you arrive, you're greeted with an amazing staff. The ambiance is nothing short of warm and serene. You'll feel a sense of tranquility that complements the wine perfectly. You can tell Brian & Natalies dedication & passion for winemaking !They also serve you a nice variety of Natalies homemade goodies from her garden (the marinated tomatoes are a MUST)The staff truly elevates the experience.Overall,a must-visit for anyone seeking a peaceful retreat w/ exceptional wine. Its no wonder this has become one of our favorite wineries. We joined their membership club on the spot!“
“We landed here for an after dinner drink and had a lovely time. We had a delicious cider that I would order again in a heartbeat, but I enjoyed the bar tender most - she was funny, friendly, helpful, and made some great suggestions for the places to visit while here.“
“What a great visit. We had not been back to Paso for five years, but meeting Bob and Lynn , the founders of this great estate, was just a real plus. I love how they are so down to earth and welcoming—Bob still refers to himself as ‘just a grape farmer’. Lovely visit, great wines (see critic Jen Dunnuck’s ratings), and a warm greeting from the hosts. Thx, Bob and Lynn“
“Yes, the rumors are true, this place is incredible, it smells amazing, the building looks really good, scenic grounds, the food is was some of the best in Paso Robles, the wine tasting was the most complex experience, our host did an incredible job of explaining when we were experiencing, very knowledgeable of every aspect even the most technical curiosities we might have had! It was a truly unique experience and can’t wait to return!“
“This is a must visit in Paso! If you want to experience something different this is the spot. I've been here multiple times and with the rotating menu you always get to try something good. I have not had a bad wine experience here. Their wine menu is always top tier.“
“I'm obsessed! The wine, service, and grounds are nothing short of outstanding. Ascunsion Ridge is a small operation run by beautiful, honest people that love what they do. Each wine I sampled was complex and beautifully balanced. Everything was beyond my expectations and I loved my time here so much I couldn't help but sign up for a membership. I can't wait to come back!“
“We were so blessed to have David as our guide and host for our tasting at Austin Hope. David was a delight, sharing his knowledge, his enthusiasm for the wines and the history of the winery — all while making us feel special and so very welcome! We visited several wineries in Paso Robles and this experience exceeded our expectations!“
“You can't beat this place for the price, quality, quantity of food and the selection. A sandwich can easily be half-eaten and finished for dinner.Everything is fresh, presentable and absolutely delicious.I'd come here for lunch every day if I could.“
“Such a fun experience at McPrice Myers! Adriane was a fantastic ambassador for the brand, and we loved the wine. Because it was raining our tasting was in their stock room with the barrels of wine (no frills, for lack of a better term) and it was so refreshing to see a winery so grounded and down to earth! Loved the experience, can't wait to go back!“
“Nice little place, simple tasty wines with the old world flair. I'm more of a "red" drinker so I cannot really comment about their white. It was ok for me but again white sweeter type of wine isn't my thing. We moved on to taste the rest of the lineup. The second one on the list was such an easy drink. I visualized an everyday dinner drink with my family. As we moved on, Fernando was explaining the different varietals of blends in the wine. Each tasting became more dry as we moved through the tasting list (which was what I was looking for - thanks). The whole experience was really enjoyable and Fernando was a true host and entertained our small group. I left there impressed by the wines they offered and will definitely recommend them to friends passing through town.“
“This place is amazing! Service, wine, views, it checks all the boxes. (And we come to Paso a lot.) It's a new favorite! Gina was also possibly the best wine pourer we've had EVER! It was super busy but it became a party to her not a burden. Very impressive!“
“We sampled a few wine tasting spots in town, and this one is by far the best. They have the best sampling options and varieties from their boutique vineyard. We really liked the vibe. There were a lot of locals in the shop who have memberships, and had a great time getting to know everyone. I’d say hands down this tasting room has the biggest bang for your buck. Thank you all for this experience!“
“We tasted 4 outstanding 2021 wines. Russell Family Vineyard was 100% syrah, the other 3 were blends of Sarah, Mourvedre and Grenache. All rated 93 to 94 points. Glenn, the Tasting Room manager is extremely well versed on wines from many countries and I'd say an expert on Paso Robles wines. Very happy with our Tasting and thrilled to be Club members!“
“Stopped here doing the Bay to LA drive and this place was worthy of both of those places without the hefty pricetag. Paso is lucky to have a place like this. Generous portions, great service, friendly staff. Will make this a repeat stop if I get there within store hours.“
“Amazing bold reds! We loved everything we tasted, and that has only happened at one other winery. The owners are friendly, knowledgeable, and have a great sense of humor! We totally enjoyed our time in the tasting room, and our RV lodging on the property, as they are Harvest Hosts.“
“Jennifer was the highlight of our Paso Robles tasting day, she was so knowledgeable and kind. Tastings are free and the cave tour really differentiates Eberle from other wineries. The owner also frequents the property and was there on the same day as us“
“Stan took amazing care of us. And the wines were phenomenal. I came for the ports and they did not disappoint. My fav was the 2010 tauriga and walked away with a bottle and a family member signing up to be a member. Was our first visit but not our last!“
“Hidden gem of a tasting room in the heart of Paso RoblesIf you're walking on the sidewalks, you will miss this one unless you keep a sharp eye for signs pointing to it. This wineries tasting room is a small but cozy room with the entrance opening on a parking area. Next door to Jeffrey s Wine Country BBQ.The counter service here is friendly and informative. Their tasting flight makes it really difficult to pick just one varietal. I bought five bottles, this being the only white wine. I never buy white wine or rosé. This one changed all that.Their Rozanne Pinot Noir Rosé is the only white wine I will drink. I bought only one bottle of that to bring home and four others of their traditional Pinot Noirs that I tasted and really enjoyed! I will update this post once I open those bottles.I have checked at another large chain here that sells wine and more. They don't carry it so it looks like a road trip is in order to restock on the Rosé. I might need to sign up for the wine club on this one. ?. Ship it to me, please and thank you!“
“My wife and I had no idea "Tin City" even existed, but it's cool! Great place for one stop all day wine tasting. The GEM of Tin City is Concur! Patrick was an incredible host (and owner). He made my wife, daughter, dog, and myself feel very comfortable and welcome. They even had coloring books and puzzles for my daughter! She had a blast. Now, the wines. It's VERY seldom that I enjoy every wine at a tasting, but chalk that up to a very surprising first. Don't get me wrong, I liked some more than others, but they were all good. The stars of the show, in my humble opinion, the chardonnay and the red blend. WOW! Rare for me to enjoy a white as much as this. All of their wines finished so smoothly. Impressive wine making. Their bottles are not the cheapest but worth the price. Good wine isn't cheap, cheap wine isn't usually good. Do yourself a favor and stop in for a tasting. You will be glad you did. Thank you, Patrick, we will be back.“
“First time going to Cambria and looked for a winery that sounded unique. It was everything I could want! An amazing variety of reds with a family that knows what they're doing. The dry harvesting caught my attention, and that detail did not disappoint. Unique, tasty, and wonderful service. We'll be going back for sure!“
“Love the 2019 Jacobs Ladder. In fact I wouldn't visit for a tasting again. Just pick up the JL. $20 for 3 tastes is different but they did offer some extras. Staff was nice. The drive out was beautiful. Winery isn't fancy but sometimes big and picturesque might be overrated...“
“Really the question is why wouldn't you stop here? We came on a Sunday afternoon last minute after reading other reviews on Yelp regarding this great spot. It proved to be perfect. Gibson was amazing. We enjoyed wine tasting outside on the patio. Brought our own bread and olive oil from another local place (separate review) and began the journey through Aaron and the style of wine he creates. Gibson was friendly, knowledgeable and a great host. He conveyed the path taken in the creation of these wines and answered all our questions seamlessly. I felt at times as if we were talking to the wine maker himself because he was so knowledgeable. We enjoyed and purchased a few bottles and one of us became a wine club member. The patio was dog friendly and covered. Sometimes these places can be stuffy, not this place. Down to earth people sharing a down to earth wine. So I ask again why wouldn't you stop here? There really is no reason.“
“Stopped by @ oso libre this January on my mom's trip . It was an amazing experience. We enjoyed all the wines but our favs are Chardonnay, patron, and carnal . Our highlights were learning about the history of the winery, trying wines outside of the menus, awesome customer service and singing . We will definitely be returning. Extra bonus are the events they host on the property. We wish we could have stayed for the chili this weekend.“
“We were in Paso Robles a couple of weeks ago. There are so many great wineries there. This was our first visit to Volatus. The gal taking care of us was wonderful! Very friendly and made sure we were well taken care of. The wine is great, especially for the price. I very much appreciated the ambiance and the fact that the owner served in the military and flew jets. The tasting room shares another spot with another tasting room. I haven't written a review in about a years, so that just goes to show you what a neat little spot this place is! I can't wait to go back!“
“No idea why Yelp threw away my previous review. This is one of my very favorite wineries. Their Pinot noirs are especially magnificent. The staff is knowledgeable and charming. They also have outdoor picnic tables where we often have a glass of wine and a picnic lunch.“
“Awesome wine, loved the whole line-up. Considering the wines up here in Paso, these wines were exceptionally well balanced with a lot of expression in each wine. We met the winemaker/owner/founder, Matt, and his wife who both took care of us at the tasting room. Super nice people, down to earth, great wine. Hope to enjoy one of their winemaker dinners, everyone in town raves about their chef. Absolutely check this place out“
“Stepped into Monarca Restaurant and was immediately greeted by the warm ambiance and the smell of delicious cuisine. The menu was a delightful journey through flavors, and each dish we tried was a hit. The service? Top-notch! The staff was attentive, friendly, and made our dining experience truly special. Can't wait to come back for another memorable meal. Highly recommend for anyone looking for amazing food and service!“
“This place is a hidden gem. We had a fabulous wine tasting experience. They have very amazing setup for wine tasting overlooking vineyards. They extensive list wines, great reds and white wines (ended up buying 2 bottles:)). I forgot to ask the name of the server (may be owner :)) but he was gracious host. He was very knowledgeable and took time to explain about each wine he poured. He went above and beyond and even gave us few more pours which were not on the list. We were in last slot 4-5 pm, but we were still not rushed. In fact, he made sure we have a good time. Mush better experience than even Napa / Sonoma wineries. I would definitely recommend this place and would return if I am in Paso Robles again.“
“We went to the Fableist for a wine tasting (we drove by without any reservation). We had an amazing time here - the tasting was very diverse and helped us understand the great variety of wines the winery offers. The view from the terrace is breathtaking and the service was just perfect! We ended up buying their latest white wine, the rosé and the chillable red wine. Being close to 100 USD, the tasting fee of 25 USD was waivered.A couple which came after us brought their own snacks - a great idea for the next time!Highly recommended!“
“Called Yabba Dabba Dogs completely last minute to come to an event we were having today and they not only agreed but served such delicious hot dogs!!! Their buns are so good and the toppings rock as well! Thank you again for providing excellent service and dinner options for our event“
“Came here for an am tasting in the summer, it was a cool and foggy morning so we opted to taste inside their tasting room. They had a lovely outdoor patio with beautiful views, so I'll definitely plan to taste there next time, weather permitting of course. We were helped by Ashton, she was knowledgeable about the wine and Paso in general. She gave some great restaurant recs and suggestions for other wineries as well. We went through the tasting and even got an off menu pour. We really liked just about all of the wines we tried, especially the white wines. This was our first stop of the trip and we didn't want to overdo it on the wine, so we just left with the two white wines we tried. Would absolutely come back here and am very excited to drink the bottles we got!“
“Don’t miss this vineyard! Family owned, small runs of Pinot Noir. They’re nearly impossible to find in stores as their runs are so small. Every wine we tired in our $20 tasting was great! We picked two bottles and they waved our tasting fee. Such a great place and we will visit again when we are back in the area. Note that we walked up and accommodated us, but I could see this place getting too busy for that in peak season.“
“Amazing estate tour experience! Ricky was the absolute best. He's incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about what he does. If you're looking for something different than your basic tasting, must do the estate tour. They also have new experiences coming in the future that we'll definitely be back for!“
“Such a unique tasting experience with the addition of the spiced cheeses! We had a great time and learned so much from Nick who was incredibly kind and knowledgeable. I can’t recommend this place enough. It was also cool to hear the story of the owners. I love how they’ve infused Indian culture throughout.“
