“This was my first stop in Paso Robles and it was such a great experience! I went there by myself and did the Jeep tour which was a great way to go around the vineyards and get beautiful views (and baby deers running around!!). Then I did the wine tasting sitting on the patio and got to chat with Cindy and Dennis who told me many stories about the family and Paso Robles in general. It was a lovely time, I highly recommend it!“

“We enjoyed our stay here at Dark Star Cellers. We were here about 4 years ago and we did a tasting at that time but we have to say we really enjoyed the wines this time they seem to be a little more mature and the server gave us a great information on each of the wines and we enjoyed all eight wines in the tasting. We are also part of Harvest Host and we stayed on the property overnight. Very quiet, very nice and enjoy this place. We will be back again in the future.“

We were lucky to have Ray as our guide—his knowledge and generosity made our visit so much more meaningful. He helped us understand the wines, the winery, and the region in a whole new way. “My wife and went to Volatus based on reviews and we are adding 5 star. Daniel our wine guide was fantastic. Great knowledge of wines and the Paso Robles area. We went on a Wednesday so we had the tasting room to ourselves. The red wines were full bodied and are drinking very well now, and will age nicely. Daniel explained we are in a slow period ( just a few days) as the wine festival had just passed and we are entering Memorial day weekend. The vibe and energy was excellent. “Came here of Sunday morning. The young lady working was so friendly and welcoming. The wine was really good. Their reds were some of my favorite. The gernache was awesome. I also enjoyed the Zin. The wines were membership worthy.

One thing that made the experience even nicer was the outdoor patio. It was very kind friendly. Had nice seats with a fire.

I definitely recommend checking this place out. I bought a bottle of their holiday wine for Christmas. It was a perfect visit.“

“We met Brenda, (hopefully I got the name right. 😆). We sat with her and tried their whiskey flight and the flight of their other hard liquors. They also offer wines. This place is amazing. They take the leftover grape skins to make the harder alcohol. Everything was delicious and I was impressed with their philosophy. We bought 2 bottles of their rye and a bottle of their lemoncello to take home. Along with their special blend to make old fashions with. Definitely a place to visit if you are visiting Paso Robles or the surrounding area.“

“What’s not to love about Fratelli Perata? As soon as you drive up, you are transported to Italy, gazing upon miles of rolling hills of vineyards as you get out of your car. Walking in, classic Italian music plays softly as one of the Perata family members greets you. The tasting menu is unique for Paso, focusing mainly on Italian varietals - and what lovely expressions they are. You’ll learn about the Perata family history while sipping on yummy Barbera and Sangiovese. You’ll want (at least) one of every bottle before you leave, guaranteed. We can’t wait to come back!“

“One of the best vineyard tour experiences we have ever had. I highly recommend the UTV tour, tasting, and lunch. We had a fantastic time being driven around the vineyard, hearing about the history, and tasting some absolutely lovely wines. Their Mourvedre was our favorite. They do a great job with it and we will be ordering more of it. I lost the name of our guide, but he was fantastic. He does a lot for them as far as experiences go and he was awesome. Bravo!“

“We enjoyed the “NEW and improved” Pour House this afternoon! 🥰music, beverage selection and thoughtful stage and dance floor layout…..but the hydraulic, sleek new, unstable, teetering bar stools with equally precarious tables covered with stretchy fabric were an annoyance from the start.
One of us is unsighted and we seek out establishments that are SAFE for him due to the ever-looming fall risks.
We opted for the wicker bar chairs which snagged my clothing…….
We have patronized the POUR HOUSE from its start when it was in the Firestone Walker “hood”.
Please consider safety first, as we are musicians that have performed on the many incarnations of the PH stage, we hope the PH continues to be a comfortable (safe) place for all who seek a pour!!!“

“We just had Dinner after not going for a long time and we had the pizza and the bacon bleu burger but the best thing was Tyler he was an excellent waiter server. The dinner was great the atmosphere was great it was a good idea to go there much better than the first time when they first opened highly recommend you go back if you didn’t like it the first time. “Our favorite vineyard of the trip! Booker was breathtaking! The views, the space, the people, all top tier. Margarite (not sure on spelling:/) was incredible. She made us feel so welcomed and comfortable. We shared stories but she also gave us space to enjoy and talk. Highly recommend the terrace tasting. The wines were incredible. My only complaint is being from Utah and not being able to join the club, therefore missing out on some of the better wines available. I get the exclusivity and lure to join but maybe exceptions for those that can’t get wine shipped to their homes! I would’ve left with more bottles and a much heavier suitcase!“

“Came to Paso Robles for my birthday and picked this winery since it seemed like a nice little hidden gem and the black and gold bottles stood out to me. Jordan helped us with our experience, this was our first winery and he was extremely knowledgeable and was very patient with our million questions. The wine itself was all 10's for me and knowing that you can't find these wines in any restaurant/business gave this an even more exclusive and memorable experience. I would come back any time; I believe he said the menu changes every 5 weeks typically.“
