Alpha Omega Collective Paso Robles Wine Bar
739 12th St, Paso Robles

“We had such an amazing time at Alpha Omega’s tasting room in Paso Robles! From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel welcome, but what really stood out was our host, Justin. He guided us through a side-by-side tasting that wasn’t just about sipping wine, but about understanding it. He explained the differences across vineyard sites, walked us through the nuances in the wines, and made the whole experience both educational and enjoyable.

What made it unforgettable, though, was Justin himself—professional, charismatic, and genuinely engaging. He had that rare ability to make the wines shine even brighter with his knowledge and energy. And honestly, being very easy on the eyes didn’t hurt either—the wine somehow tasted even better! If you’re in Paso, Alpha Omega should definitely be on your list, and if Justin is your guide, you’re in for something truly special.“

“It's by the unmaned train station. Owner Sam and Takashi are wonderful! The wine tasting is super reaonable and wines beautifully made by Sam! It is just run by one person, but the service and hospitality is top notch! If you are in Paso Robles it is a must to visit. If taking the train at 4 15pm you should go 2 hrs early and enjoy the wines there. Really loved this place. Highly recommended!“

“It’s one of the best wine bars in San Luis Obispo county offering a wide array of domestic and international wines by the bottle or by the glass. I find the prices to be competitive and the bartenders very knowledgeable with their craft. I highly recommend this lace to anyone who wants to sample local Paso Robles and international wines. STANGER Vineyards Winery •

“A little awkward intro… me & hubby winging it on the way to Tahoe from SNF and Kings Canyon via #78 (I think) Strange items in landscape, (ship) didn’t see any vineyards, other than sign “Wine Tasting,” and a man out by a truck near the gate. Asked if he was open, and long story short he invited us in and the entire experience was very interesting and just an amazing experience to remember! Thank you Roger, for your time and the stories of your journey, so very interesting and educational! The wine… bona petit 🍷🥢🥢🥢🙂‍↔️🥰💞“

“The only place like this in town. Small chef's bar with Ian behind it, serving you and telling stories. The food is SO good, and it's a nice portion. I've never left hungry. The wine he chooses to pair with his dinners is always interesting and excellent. If you can get a reservation, make it and go. 100% worth it“

“I often stop here as I drive between NorCal and SoCal. It's usually my only stop because the wines are very good at a variety of price points. The servers are wonderful and knowledgeable. Because I'm just there to buy, I start only tasting a few specific wines, but often I'll end up tasting various vintages or compare blends. I always end up with a wonderful selection of wines. I love the atmosphere plus it's right on the central square.“

“This place came recommended by a local. We went there to dine. Their sign read: Fathers Day special: Pulled pork Mac and cheese with chorizo House salad. $17.00. Ordered the special and a salad expecting pulled pork with a side of Mac and cheese. Got a small nacho container with a small amount of Mac and cheese (possibly from a box) with chorizo and a very small amount of bland pulled pork meat mixed in. I explained to the girl that this was not what I was expecting due to the way the menu read. I asked if I could get pulled pork instead like the menu said. Her response was... you can buy another meal if you want. Very poor customer service and unintentional or not very poor description of the meal as well as a very high price for the food quantity and quality. Could not even eat the meal. Wife got a salad with ranch. She also could not eat her salad due to the ranch tasting like thickened buttermilk with mayonnaise with no ranch mixed in. Left the whole $50 dollar meal (because at the register I had left a very generous tip prior to getting my meal). Will not be back. If you go save the tip until you make sure you get the service and meal you would expect!“
