“A little awkward intro… me & hubby winging it on the way to Tahoe from SNF and Kings Canyon via #78 (I think) Strange items in landscape, (ship) didn’t see any vineyards, other than sign “Wine Tasting,” and a man out by a truck near the gate. Asked if he was open, and long story short he invited us in and the entire experience was very interesting and just an amazing experience to remember! “I took my wife here for her birthday after reading reviews, and thought it sounded like a fun experience. It was such a fun, intimate experience. The bar holds 16 people, and by the end, everyone was socializing, laughing, and enjoying the dinner and wine pairings. Ian is very generous with the wines, and you get to try quite a few different wines. The food was very delicious and paired well with each of the wines. And, I really enjoyed seeing the true joy Ian has for the wines and hosting such an evening.“

“It's by the unmaned train station. Owner Sam and Takashi are wonderful! The wine tasting is super reaonable and wines beautifully made by Sam! It is just run by one person, but the service and hospitality is top notch! If you are in Paso Robles it is a must to visit. If taking the train at 4 15pm you should go 2 hrs early and enjoy the wines there. Really loved this place. Highly recommended!“

I find the prices to be competitive and the bartenders very knowledgeable with their craft. I highly recommend this lace to anyone who wants to sample local Paso Robles and international wines. “Had a great time at Cloak & Dagger. We’re not huge Cabernet fans ourselves, but our friends are, and they absolutely loved what they tasted here. Service was excellent throughout, and the ambiance made the whole visit feel special. Even as non-Cab drinkers, we had a wonderful time and would happily go back. “We went to the downtown tasting room which was lovely. We got there at 7:15pm and they were very accommodating-even though they closed by 8pm. Krystal Laucella was so gracious and helpful and Rafael provided us with great information and a wonderful experience. This was one of the nicest wine tasting experiences we have had.“

“This place came recommended by a local. We went there to dine. Their sign read: Fathers Day special: Pulled pork Mac and cheese with chorizo House salad. $17.00. Ordered the special and a salad expecting pulled pork with a side of Mac and cheese. Got a small nacho container with a small amount of Mac and cheese (possibly from a box) with chorizo and a very small amount of bland pulled pork meat mixed in. I explained to the girl that this was not what I was expecting due to the way the menu read. I asked if I could get pulled pork instead like the menu said. Her response was... you can buy another meal if you want. Very poor customer service and unintentional or not very poor description of the meal as well as a very high price for the food quantity and quality. Could not even eat the meal. Wife got a salad with ranch. She also could not eat her salad due to the ranch tasting like thickened buttermilk with mayonnaise with no ranch mixed in. Left the whole $50 dollar meal (because at the register I had left a very generous tip prior to getting my meal). Will not be back. If you go save the tip until you make sure you get the service and meal you would expect!“
