“A most wonderful experience. The food was unforgettable!“
“Awesome place with friendly and knowledgeable staff!“
“There's something about visiting Alta Colina that feels less like a tasting and more like coming home. From the moment you arrive, Bob, Maggie, Melissa (and Jesse!) make you feel like part of the family. It's not just friendly service; it's genuine care and attention that turns every visit into something fun!
The wines are thoughtfully made; fresh, expressive, and clearly crafted with intention rather than ego. Bob and Maggie embody that same philosophy: humble, kind, and effortlessly welcoming in a way that's increasingly rare.
And Melissa? She elevates the entire experience. Attentive without hovering, knowledgeable without being pretentious...she just gets it.
If you're looking for a place that pairs excellent wine with warmth and authenticity, this is it. We love you guys!“
“Overall experience was amazing. I joined the wine club November 2025 and brought 4 of my girlfriends in June. Wines and view were incredible. Best of all was the service, specifically Elias: He was very knowledgeable, spent a lot of time with us, and was super fun.“
“An umami pairing experience with LXV Wine and Bakersfield’s Noodle Bar. LXV owners and the chef from Noodle Bar matched the wines and meals perfectly👌🏼Pairings with LXV Wine is a must do experience!“
“This place is amazing from the wine to the staff to the views. Such a friendly laid back place. Can't say enough about Croad my favorite winery“
“Halter Ranch is a stunning winery! The views are amazing - it was so relaxing to enjoy wine and look out on their land. We had the wine tasting accompanied with salads and a charcuterie board - a perfect lunch! The best part of the experience was talking to one of the wine makers - she took the time to answer our detailed questions - we learned so much about wine in the Paso region. I will come back everytime I come to Paso!
Update: I took my family on a Defender Tour with Timothy Argie. I highly recommend this tour! We had 4 stops where we enjoyed wine and charcuterie. The views were stunning and Timothy was the perfect guide. My entire family enjoyed the stories, the history, and the wine!“
“Caliza was a lovely and relaxing winery to start the morning off slow. The wines were great, the scenery was serene and the service was interactive and quite friendly. Our server was from the area and had lots of recommendations for us and even wrote them out so we'd remember! The flagship wine Azimuth is that for a reason. Definitely wonderful and a great souvenir to take home!“

“We RV all over the United States and one of our favorite meals is sushi. So we tried Goshi , great selection of cooked and sushi type meals…. super nice people , great sushi chefs on the counter. highly recommended good value for the dollar.“
“I took my parents who were visiting from out of town here for a tasting and we had the best time. Laura was so helpful and patient with us. We hadn’t been to many tastings before so she really made us feel welcome and comfortable. She sat down and had a long chat with us. She was a wealth of knowledge not only about Tablas creek, but about the region, and about the winemaking process in general. We loved the wine we tried, and bought several bottles to take home. We were so impressed with how much time she spent with us, even though we were the last customers of the day, and I’m sure she would have liked to get home. We learned a lot from the experience, and it stands out as a big highlight from my parents visit.“

“Delicious and creative plant-based food combining great flavor with heart. I love the spicy Buffalo Chicken sandwich, the black bean taquitos, the Avalon burger with arugula and vegan Gouda cheese (!), and the avocado taco! Want to try everything on the menu! 5-stars for flavor, creativity, service, and location! Love Ziggy’s!!“
“Our experience was absolutely delightful! The staff was remarkably attentive and genuinely friendly, setting a fantastic tone. We loved the live music and found the beautiful atmosphere incredibly uplifting. The refreshing wine we selected perfectly complemented the whole ambiance. Highly recommend!“

“very good place to eat. food is very good.“
“Bryan provided a fantastic tour of the vineyard on a jeep! He added so much historical flavor about the vineyard and the Paso Robles region, with 7 generations of Steinbecks involved in grape growing! And we really enjoyed the wines - particularly the Zinfandel!
Allow time to enjoy this truly unique experience!“
“We usually share our reviews on Tock or Cellarpass, but we wanted to note here how special Torrin is if you’re ever visiting the Paso area. We are always impressed by both the winemaker and his work, which is why we joined the club. We are big fans of Lagom, but we equally enjoy Banshee and Akasha. Aly is also one of the main reasons we look forward to each visit—she is truly a treasure. The wines speak for themselves, but it’s the welcoming and personable people at Torrin who truly win us over.“

“Amazing experience! The staff is extraordinarily knowledgeable and talented. I have to say, we did the non-alcoholic pairing and didn’t know what to expect but it was actually so unique and so much fun! I am even intending on finding some of those drinks for future consumption. The fish dish was out of this world! And the ambiance was great. Lovely music and each plate / bowl was a fun piece of art. There are honestly too many good things to say. My only complaint would be that I can’t have that experience every night. 10/10 recommend!“

“Moe's Pizza is by far the most outstanding pizza that has ever been in Paso Robles The pizzas are heavy full and they're well worth every cent you spend! highly recommend for any event or even dinner!“
“We are members of the Dark Star Wine Club, so we must stop by every time we pass through Passo. We drive up in the RV, set up for the night, and sip really good! wine thru the evening. The sky, the green plants, the red buildings, good conversation, such a treat to get to relax and enjoy such a perfect spot on the planet. ( I really do like it here.)“

“Best meal we have had in years. Excellent food!!“
“Came here of Sunday morning. The young lady working was so friendly and welcoming. The wine was really good. Their reds were some of my favorite. The gernache was awesome. I also enjoyed the Zin. The wines were membership worthy.
One thing that made the experience even nicer was the outdoor patio. It was very kind friendly. Had nice seats with a fire.
I definitely recommend checking this place out. I bought a bottle of their holiday wine for Christmas. It was a perfect visit.“
“beautiful setting, friendly people and a friendly dog named Bentley“
“If you're a wine enthusiast looking for something truly special, Diablo Paso is a must-try. Trust me, your taste buds will thank you! Be sure to ask for Deb when you visit the tasting room. She’s incredibly friendly and can provide expert guidance on the wine selection.“
“Awesome tasting room and some great products!“
“Our favorite vineyard of the trip! Booker was breathtaking! The views, the space, the people, all top tier. Margarite (not sure on spelling:/) was incredible. She made us feel so welcomed and comfortable. We shared stories but she also gave us space to enjoy and talk. Highly recommend the terrace tasting. The wines were incredible. My only complaint is being from Utah and not being able to join the club, therefore missing out on some of the better wines available. I get the exclusivity and lure to join but maybe exceptions for those that can’t get wine shipped to their homes! I would’ve left with more bottles and a much heavier suitcase!“
“I brought a friend today for wine and cheese tasting and lunch. Our server Alex, was very knowledgeable and engaging. He made us feel welcome and made sure we had everything we needed. He was the best! The food was incredible, as always. Thank you, Chef Walter.“
“Great wines and wonderful people. We had a gathering of 20 here this week and were served with such warmth, knowledge and fun. The owners shared the history of the property. We had WONDERFUL red wines and yummy pizza. I would strongly recommend making the journey to Dubost!“
“Great staff and atmosphere! The wines were incredible. Especially the Zinfandel! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay! 🥳🥳“
“Very unique Winery in terms of total production and the method.
Grapes are grown with dry cultivation no chemicals and minimal Sulphur content. Jordan our host was excellent in terms of service and knowledge. Highly recommend the place“
“This is our first Winery Tour ever, and Austin Hope was the first winery of our day, so we didn't really know what to expect. Upon arrival, were warmly greeted with a glass of white wine, then escorted to a corner cabana with the backdrop of the vineyard! At first, I was a bit hesitant seating outside because it was March and this year has been unusually cold, but the hostess assured me that they had heat lamps and blankets. Sure enough, with the beautiful flame heat lamp and the soft warm blanket, we were comfortable and cozy, and settled into a wonderful experience. I forgot who was our server, but she was very knowledgeable about the wines, and also personable and caring. She make sure that we were comfortable, and our young daughter had sparkling water in her wine glass so she could (kind of) participate with us. I highly recommend their Charcuterie tray, which has a great assortment of wine, meats and nuts. I love how our server explained the wine at each pour, then leave us ample time to enjoy the glass and talk. She also brought us handwarmers to keep our hands warm. There were so many small caring touches that truly made our first winery tasting experience so wonderful. I'm not much of a wine person, but I ended up loving their wine too. After our tasting at Austin Hope, the other wineries just couldn't compare. Thank you very much for a first winery experience that I will never forget. I will definitely be back!“
“Anyone who doesn't give this winery five stars has very very serious issues. As in, take your nose pointing North and move it down to a normal position. This is a fantastic winery. The statues, the art, the space at the bar, the space and the grounds are just phenomenal. They're beautiful. And then add on, oh yeah the wine's pretty darn good too, outstanding even. The picture tells the story. It's intimate and yet refined. It's at least, the ones that we've been to in the Paso area and San Luis Obispo in general, the most Napa feeling, which normally to me is not necessarily a good thing because it's corporate, but this bridges the gap between intimacy and refinement. A wonderful experience and if someone goes here and doesn't have a wonderful time you've got to wonder, what's wrong because it's not Sculpterra.“

“Great sushi spot in Paso Square! They are open later than other local sushi restaurants. Plus the fish is fresh and delicious. Served seaweed salad and pickled cucumbers as a side with pickled ginger. A huge plus on my end!!!!

“Dilecta Wines made a truly memorable contribution to the recent Lumina Alliance Gala—a one-night vineyard cabin stay complete with wine and charcuterie.
It was such a thoughtful and beautifully composed offering, capturing everything that makes Paso Robles wine country special—hospitality, atmosphere, and a sense of place.
Experiences like this don’t just feel generous—they feel intentional.
Grateful for their support of Lumina Alliance and for the care behind what they create.“

“Wow masha’allah amazing food and I’m not easily impressed with Mediterranean. I got the mixed grill platter and the meats were incredibly tender and juicy. The pizza is great as well! This place definitely deserves all the high praise.“
“I can’t wait to go back! Great food and room was perfect“
“Went to Rotta on a Sunday afternoon on a whim. The young lady who helped us was a wealth of information. The wines were fantastic and the view was spectacular. What a great day“
“We were in Paso for a week of wine tasting. Our final visit was the vineyard tour and tasting. It was the capstone event of the week. Everything was fantastic. We didn't know that it was a private tour, so it was extra special for our 25th wedding anniversary. The vineyard is stunningly beautiful and we got to taste ripe grapes of different varieties right off the vine!
Paula was our host, not only is she a great advocate for ONX wines, which are fantastic, but she knows a LOT about wine in general. Unlike many of our hosts in the 10-tastings we did over the week, she balanced the story of the vineyard and company with information about the wines. Too many times over the week were we overloaded with the history of the vineyard, which to us is secondary to the quality and story of the wines.
Hey ONX, whatever you are paying Paula, give her a raise!“
“We stopped by Lone Madrone because there was a “Bristol” sign out front, and we have a granddaughter named Bristol. We ended up getting a nice tour of the grounds, enjoyed a wine tasting, sampled the Bristol ciders, and feasted on a VERY tasty charcuterie board. The staff at Lone Madrone were very friendly and we enjoyed lots of wonderful conversation. When we left, we took a couple of bottles of wine and some of their Bristol cider to enjoy later. Oh, and it was so good, we became members of the wine club too. We’ve visited several of the wineries in Paso, and I think Lone Madrone might just be my favorite.“
“Just had an amazing experience at Eberle. Kirk, our tasting guide, possessed a wealth of knowledge about the vineyard and its history. He could not have been more entertaining, informative, and just generous with his time and tasting! Thoroughly enjoyed all the wines- all the reds have elegance and depth- but are less in your face than some California reds, but so smooth, lovely and enjoyable. We will be back!! In the day and age when everywhere is reservations only and super pricey, Eberle is a breath of fresh air- with years of quality to back up their stellar reputation.“
“I definitely recommend Vina Robles as a stop for any trip in Paso Robles. We came during the holiday weekend after Christmas with our two dogs. The staff was kind, our wine specialist was very knowledgeable and friendly. The atmosphere is lovely with small chill livingroom like spots. There was a DJ when we came, doing an excellent job of weaving together requests that added to the experience. We had a wonderful time!“
