Oscar and Kyle were our wine educator / servers and were excellent. Not only were the wines delicious but the food was to die for. We enjoyed amazing charred shishito peppers and a burger with caramelized onions. We highly recommend this winery and Alice's Restaurant
Halter Ranch was one of the absolute highlights of our annual Paso Robles trip, and a HUGE reason for that was Oscar!
We've visited a lot of wineries over the years, but the way Oscar took care of us was truly on another level. His hospitality, knowledge, personality, and genuine enthusiasm made the entire experience extraordinary. He didn't just pour wine. He made us feel like we were old friends coming back for a visit.

Halter Ranch offers stylishly decorated accommodations adjacent to its vineyards, providing beautiful daytime views and star-filled nighttime vistas. The hospitality team is exceptional, with professional and accommodating staff making every stay memorable. Enjoy a winery and cave tour, led by knowledgeable guides, and experience the immaculate facility, unique art, and wonderful wine. The outside seating is nice and relaxing, with excellent wines like CDP and the Alice Cuvee. The views are great, especially at sunset. The staff is friendly, helpful, and very attentive. The place can get busy, but there is plenty of seating. Guests can also enjoy a super-fun train ride around the property and a delicious lunch menu.
