Great wines and staff
We had a lovely experience tasting wine at Whalebone winery in Paso Robles. Gina was our wine host, and she made our experience so much fun! Also, the wine was really good. BOB and SOB were our favorites. Go check them out! After our tasting we had a picnic on their patio overlooking the beautiful rolling hills of Paso. It was a great experience!

The winery shares a unique history, as whalebones and marine fossils were discovered when the Simpson family planted the vineyard back in 1986. The property is also home to Bentley, a friendly bulldog mascot who greets guests with enthusiasm, along with cats that add to the warm, relaxed vibe. Guests often praise the old school wine tasting experience, noting the friendly and engaging staff. The atmosphere remains boutique, maintaining high standards and a personal touch.
