“Beautiful ambiance. The guitar player’s music hit just the right balance of soul/jazz. The dishes were fantastic and the portions substantial.“
“I love stopping here, I always find things, gifts for friends, good pies, honey, fruits and veggies, bee pollen, and so much more
I came on a Thursday to avoid the crowds, and there were a lot of kids on a trip. They have goats, cow's, lama's to feed. Visit the ice-cream shack and / or get some roasted corn on the cob. This place is beautiful during the holidays. Go early if you can to miss some of the traffic and people who visit or if you enjoy the hustle and bussle then enjoy.“

“If you haven't had a Bing Soo it's shaved frozen milk with sweet toppings. Like we had today was a mango Bing Soo. Sooo good!! So glad this place had a cup size Bing Soo. Last time we had it at another place where we live. It was a bowel size. My son, husband, and I had a hard time finishing it. It fills you up! Great cookies and cream mochi donut. Also macchiato. We gotta come back for the mochi hotdog and possibly for the Korean goodies (chips and cups).“

“Wow! So glad we found this place! Amazing breakfast, lunch, coffee. I had the corn dobladitas and it was truly incredible. Roasted fresh veggies with delicious sauce. Also not too heavy. You should definitely try this place if you’re looking for something new in SLO. You won’t be disappointed. Great service too!“

“This place was recommended by a couple of people we ran into while mountain biking out at Montona De Oro. What a great place to stop for lunch before heading home after a couple of hours on the trails at MDO. I highly recommend the El Heffe. I think that was what it was named. It was a Cuban inspired sandwich. I will be getting that again next time! So good!!!!!“

“Just stopped here on a road trip and had to pause eating to leave a review. This place is sooo good. The portion sizes are generous, and the food tastes fresh. Crispy lettuce and fresh veggies and everything was tasty. I’m not a sauce person so I haven’t tried any of theirs, but the food was really good without it. I’d definitely eat there again. The service was good too.
Vegetarian options: All vegan, gluten free options available.“

“Will definitely be returning here and then more details will be forthcoming. A friend recommended this establishment, said he'd never been disappointed, and my first experience supported that claim fully.
Parking: I was early, before 6 pm, so I got shade right in front of the door, so I can't guarantee that, but plenty of parking in lot of multi-business center is available.“
“Just visited Wolff Vineyards yesterday, and I’m still on cloud nine! From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was absolutely enchanting, with stunning views of the rolling vineyards. The staff welcomed us with warm smiles and made us feel like we were part of the family. We even took some vineyard tours with Third Wheel Tours. We got to get up close and personal with the scenery, which was the most fun!
But let me tell you about the star of the show—the Petite Sirah! ? It was hands down the best I’ve ever had. I couldn't get enough! The tasting experience was perfect, with just the right balance of knowledge and fun.
If you’re in the San Luis Obispo area, Wolff Vineyards is a must-visit! I’m already planning my next trip back. Cheers to incredible wine and unforgettable memories! ?✨“

“Lived in the Bay Area for the last decade. Whenever I come to SLO, I am always disappointed with the lack of quality boba. I ordered a drink here today. And now, this is the only place in SLO that I have ever truly enjoyed the drink. You may be thinking, how dramatic. Yes, it is that dramatic.“

“Great selection of German beers. Picture of an Andechs Helles. The menu is good; they have a wide variety of German fare. Stammtisch the third Wednesday of each month. They do special events around German Fußball events (e.g., UEFA and FIFA tournaments - even morning matches, Oktoberfest…). Enjoy!“
“World class quality beers“
“The food was some of the best I've ever eaten and I'm a foody! We had a ceviche and 2 of the salads, all phenomenal. The chocolates exceptional and dessert ( though we didn't try any) looked magazine worthy. We may go back to SLO just to eat here again.“
“We recently became members of Claiborne & Churchill and have loved our experience so far. In our first couple of months, we have enjoyed several tastings and recently attended our first event. The winery's family-oriented atmosphere and focus on member connection is what sold us. Special shoutout to Eileen, who signed us up and served us on my birthday!“

“Loved my experience here with friends the other day. I ordered one of their salads and it was so good and the flavors blended perfectly together! The Brussels sprouts appetizer is amazing and a must to try.“
“We have been members for well over a decade and have always loved the great varietals Craig and Team come forth. Everything from elegant to bold and my wife and I have several favorites. We were just coming back from the Dog Surfing Championships in Pacifica and figured we had to stop at the tasting room in Paso. We have known Rick in Edna for years and many of the other tasting professionals, however on this trip we were blessed to have Christina. Her knowledge, tasting notes, and service was fantastic. Definitely made us feel like part of the family. The Meat and Cheese Board was one of the best we have had, which we paired with some great wines! What an amazing treat on a long haul home!“

“WOOO! If you want an authentic Turkish treat this is the place to be! We got the Turkish coffee, some Turkish delights, and some baklava and all of it was just straight up amazing. The pistachio coffee was firee so creamy and so complex. The baklava was pretty good. It seemed to have been left out for a while so the baklava didn’t have a super flaky exterior but other than that it was amazing. The Turkish delights were also scrumptious with a wonderful texture and even greater taste for all of them. Make sure to make use of the free samples for all the delectable treats too see which ones you like the most. The staff is very patient with you so don’t worry! The inside of this place was so cute and wholesome as shown in my picture. OVERALL I would definitely recommend this place to others and will hope to come again!“
“It’s a great place to go all the local love it! Good Cider great vibes and it’s definitely a place to stop a do some cider tasting! I highly recommend adding to your things to do if you’re visiting from out of town. And if you live here you should definitely stop by your missing out of a wonderful place to chill out and meet up with friends“
“Just the best.
They were able to accommodate us without a reservation and even brought over an extra table when the picnic I packed started to spill over.
The staff was spot on with recommendations and a pleasure to talk to. 10/10 will be returning.“

“If I could give this place a 10/10 I would , such a great experience not to seem picky but me and my boyfriend used to go all the time during my pregnancy, we haven’t went since my pregnancy two years ago and finally got to go again since we made a trip to San Luis , we were craving the original bison burger and chicken tenders and they no longer carried it so we were going to go to a different restaurant (not mad at all) zack the manager approached us super friendly and said they will make the bison burger and chicken tenders we were super grateful and appreciative if we could tip him we would but managers can’t take tips so here I am making a review because his customer service was so amazing we will definitely be back for years to come such a amazing manger he needs a raise !!!!!“
“Wonderful selection of international and domestic wines. Love that they get people out of their comfort zone with something interesting! They can supply you with some domestic staples but it's always nice to see a location not be afraid to get you out of your boring comfort zone. Reds, whites, sparkling. Great cheese plates and friendly staff that always makes it enjoyable to swing in and grab a glass!“

“Hidden little gem with a wide variety of micro brewed beers to choose. They have a small menu of typical bar food. Oak and Otter was a final destination after a local ride; we were a group of eleven and able to move tables and chairs around. We tried a bunch of menu items: Nachos, Pretzel, Meat tray, and Quesadillas; all fresh and prepared quickly. They do not have a fryer, no fries or other fried food — that’s good!“

“I recently had the pleasure of visiting Chamisal Winery, and simply put, it was an unforgettable experience.
The wines at Chamisal are undoubtedly some of the best on the Central Coast. Each sip was a testament to the quality and care that goes into every bottle.
A special mention to Jacob, the wine manager, whose hospitality was nothing short of amazing. He made our visit truly special with his extensive knowledge and warm, welcoming demeanor. Jacob went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic time, making us feel like VIP guests.
The scenery at Chamisal Winery is absolutely breathtaking. Overlooking the lush vineyards, the views are simply stunning, offering a serene and picturesque backdrop to a perfect day of wine tasting.
Whether you're a wine enthusiast or just looking for a beautiful place to relax and enjoy some exceptional wines, Chamisal Winery is a must-visit.“

“As somebody who is a caffeine abuser, obviously I need my coffee. Coastal peaks provides me with exceptional cold brews and afternoon teas. However the thing I look forward to the most is the experience. You go in and are greeted by awesome baristas that make you feel welcomed and no matter how busy they are, they go out of their way to greet you with a smile and answer any questions you have. They are the best part of my morning“

“I can’t talk about Monika’s work without taking care of one quick thing first…
Macaron (MAK-ə-RON) — a sweet meringue-based confection made with egg white, icing sugar, granulated sugar, almond meal, and often food colouring
Macaroon (MAK-ə-ROON) — small cake or cookie, originally made from ground almonds, egg whites, and sugar, but now often with coconut or other nuts. They may also include jam, chocolate, or other flavorings.
Macron — a French politician who has served as the 25th president of France since 2017 and ex officio one of the two Co-Princes of Andorra.
Macaroni — a type of pasta shaped like narrow, often curved, tubes, or an 18th century fashion trend notable for its description of Yankee Doodle’s cap. Or hat. Kinda depends who you ask and who’s singin’ it.
Monika only deals with the first, and boy howdy, does she know what’s up.
I myself did NOT know what was up until semi-recently. I thought macarons and macaroons were the same thing, and since I’m not the hugest fan of coconut, I never gave macarons OR macaroons much thought. After my wife started experimenting with baking macarons, though, the scales came off my eyes and I saw the light:
Macarons are great! Generally you get a little bit of crunch, a little bit of chewy, a (double!) little bit of cookie, and a little bit of filling combined into a (sort of) bite-sized treat.
Now, you can probably find macarons at your local grocery or warehouse store, and they’ll probably scratch an itch, but you REALLY owe it to yourself to check out a REAL macaron.
One of Monika’s.
Her bakery (macaronerie?) is easy to find, and it’s conveniently located close to Poly and Sierra Vista, next to Starbucks at Foothill and Chorro. She used to be in a different spot at Broad and Marsh, so don’t believe the address your friendly Search Engine Machine gives ya!
She has a standard line up including chocolate, vanilla, lemon, salted caramel and pistachio as well as seasonal varieties, too. Do yourself a favor and buy two of each, so you can figure out what your favorite is and have a whole second one! They’re big enough to easily split into halves (or maybe even quarters!) while you sample to figure out which ones you like best, but, after having the ‘Around the World/One of Everything Sampler Extravaganza’ (not a real or official menu item) multiple times, I can say that all of ‘em are great and the quality and consistency of these little bundles of joy are top notch.
While the flavor is super solid and consistently delicious, the appearance is outstanding, too. Her standard macarons pop with color, and some of her special holiday varieties are extra large and whimsically decorated (think snowmen and Easter bunnies). The pictures on her website give you a good idea of what you’re gonna get, but they’re truly little edible pieces of art.
Her boxes present the macarons really well, and don’t require any work on your part at all to make the perfect gift. Because they’re freshly made, you will want to refrigerate them if you don’t eat them or gift them right away (and that temptation will be STRONG!) and the gift is sure to delight any recipient. Also, the whole bakery is gluten free, so they’re the perfect treat or gift for anyone with a gluten allergy or sensitivity.
I’ve also tried a number of Monika’s other treats, and highly recommend the sea salt chocolate chip cookie, the quiches, and the corn flake treat (think Rice Krispies treats but with corn flakes instead!) She’s even got treats for your dog!
Whether you’re served by Monika herself or one of her employees, you’re gonna get service with a smile, as well as expert guidance and recommendations (especially for a first time visitor!) and even if you walk in expecting a macaroon or two, it’s gonna be tough to walk away disappointed!

“This place was great for my family of picky eaters. My daughter is vegetarian and loved her veggie sandwich, which had a nice mix of vegetables on a tastey roll. My wife doesn't eat pork and the staff substituted avocado for bacon on the turkey BLT. Service was really friendly and helpful. Bathrooms were clean.“

“Absolutely wonderful spot, with lovely feel-good vibes, to start your day in San Luis. Coffee is all fantastic (especially the drip, gibraltar, and macchiato); the yogurt + granola bowl is refreshing and topped with a generous dose of strawberries + blueberries; the housemade bagel sandwich is perfectly executed in every way; and the avo toast (served with oversized wedges of delightfully fresh + chewy sourdough) is a toast lover’s dream.
Highly recommend for your morning routine in town! ☕️ “

“Delicious sandwiches every single time without missing a beat. I’ve never had a bad experience here. I have ordered off the app and in person. I definitely recommend ordering online if you are getting food before going somewhere else. But if you are on a time crunch I would plan to wait for about 30 minutes give or take on how packed it is.
Dietary restrictions: You can build your own everything and pick what you’d like on your sandwich. So many options for everything and you will definitely find something that works for you.
Wheelchair accessibility: The door way in is a small slope but manageable. Also spacious inside when ordering.“
