“We love Ziggy’s!! GREAT delicious plant-based comfort food and warm, fast, friendly service! I love the spicy Buffalo Chicken sandwich, the Avalon burger with arugula and Gouda, the Black Bean Taquitos, and the Avocado Tacos. Ziggy’s is absolutely awesome! Live long and prosper, Ziggy’s!“

“Had a large group (12) of close family. Celebrated a birthday, had 10-12 drinks served and ordered up Pollo Las Brisas, Lomo Saltado, Tacu Tacu along with El Mixti and ceviche's. All the food was excellent and very high quality. The saltado was with filet mignon and was delicious. Several family raved about the multiple fish dishes and the Las Brisas was some of the best chicken I've tasted anywhere. The desserts, and we tried 4 of them were all very good. Delicious to the point of being almost decadent... not a bad thing either. The food out did the drinks, so kudos to the chefs for winning this round! Only disappointment was no “Machu Picchu” dessert available on the menu. We'd enjoyed one several years ago and were hoping it was still on the menu. Overall; excellent food, beautiful ambiance and music in the background, average drinks, great desserts and the price was not outrageous for the quality of the evening.“

They have very nice ambience with outdoor sitting on deck, surrounded by flowers. The staff is very curtious and helpful.
We went for wine tasting combined with lunch and picked the place due to multiple food options and it did not disappoint.
Wine flight had great selection from Paso robles area wines and the panini and flatbread were just a perfect pair.“

“Had a very positive experience at Scout Coffee. It showed in several travel videos for SLO so I decided to try it while visiting and was not disappointed. This coffee store has a very friendly and relaxed vibe and it is clear the business is frequented by locals and the staff and locals are familiar with each other. It is a nice place downtown to sit and relax while enjoying a well executed coffee drink. The staff is friendly and efficient.“

“Absolutely wonderful Thai food if you're looking for a great place to eat for lunch or dinner in San Luis Obispo you have to check out the Thai Palace which is right downtown tucked away in a little alley. A lot of their food can be prepared gluten free and it's clearly marked on the menu. I would say Don't just settle for the pad thai but get something really incredible like the Pad Gra prow. Also if you like ginger you definitely have to check out their hot ginger tea it's very similar to what we make at home very strong Ginger flavor very healthy just delicious. The service was phenomenal the food was awesome and the atmosphere was very cool. I will definitely be back with my family. I don't think there are any Chinese restaurants in the area in Pismo or SLO that offer gluten-free but I think this place is even better. Also if you're vegan I think they have options for that too.“

We had a fun afternoon tasting through the estate wines and learning how this woman-led winery is doing great things in the central coast! The property is gorgeous, I love how you feel close to the vines and the process while still enjoying an elevated space - it really speaks to how thoughtful chamisal has been at every step of their craft.“

“BEST RAMEN IN SLO !! We ordered the Seared Pork Belly Tonkotsu, Pork Shoulder Spicy Miso, and Cold Ramen. Overall, the ramen was super yummy and I really enjoyed the nice atmosphere and ambiance of the place. 😋

Although the food is on the pricier end, I believe it's worth the price.

There's also indoor and outdoor seating available but we sat outdoors with the heaters on since it was a little breezy that day. We placed a reservation but they take walk-ins as well.

I would highly suggest this spot for a first date or for a nicer occasion. I'll definitely be back!“

“If you’re deciding between wine tasting in Paso Robles or Edna Valley, make sure Biddle Ranch in Edna is on your list. The atmosphere is beautiful, the wine is outstanding, and the overall experience feels relaxed, authentic, and unpretentious.

We visited with a group of 11, and Paige did an incredible job taking care of us. She was patient, knowledgeable, and made each tasting engaging by sharing interesting background and tasting notes for every wine. Her attentiveness and professionalism helped make the experience memorable for everyone in our group.

“We had the most tasty Peruvian food in downtown San Luis Obispo at Coya in their new location at 851 Higuera St, San Luis Obispo, CA 93401. The chicken saltado one of the best I have ever had. The beef empanada large. The passion fruit drink, Maracuya, refreshing. All house made authentic Peruvian food. I hope you will visit Coya and enjoy the food as much as we did. The ambience beautifully decorated with traditional Peruvian products, clothing, hats, purses, dolls, cookies, coffee and lamas. Large dinning room and outdoor seating nice. “Everytime we go to Humble Oven we have an awesome experience. The kids love the pizza and we tried the Smash Burger 'Za at the Farmers Market and it became one of our new favorites! My wife and I love the Humble Salad so much that we replicate the salad at home. Staff is on top of it and we make it our go to whenever we can. “We are members of Dunites and love the wines. A few weeks ago we attended the Dunites Oysters & Pet Nat Release Party. We had a great time sitting in the sun on the patio and sampling the new Pet Nat release (excellent) and loved the oyster dish they served. We love attending Dunites events, and they never disappoint. We visit its downtown location on Garden Street every time we come into SLO. Great wine, great people!“

“I've been eating at Kona’s Deli since the 1990s, and it’s still one of my favorite sandwich spots in San Luis Obispo. The quality has always been consistent—fresh ingredients, generous portions, and unbeatable flavor. My go-to orders are the tuna with cheddar and the Pipeline—both are absolutely delicious. The bread is especially great, soft with just the right amount of chew. My only complaint is that I wish they had longer hours during the week—I can only make it in on weekends due to my work schedule. Still, always worth the wait. Kona’s is a true SLO staple.“

“Great coffee spot in SLO. Very laid-back and spacious with both indoor and outdoor seating in a very zen open air space. They have well-made lattes, but I also was really impressed by their tea. I got an iced version of a hibiscus herbal tea. It was prepared well and not too watered down.

Great spot to come hang out and do work or have a chill catch up with friends. Staff are very nice and welcoming too. They also have a very cute shop of assorted goods next-door, which I enjoyed as well. Definitely one of the best coffee spots in SLO.“

“Gorgeous place, fantastic service, perfect Turkish coffee, and amazing sweets. I'm always tempted to buy a cup when I am in here, too. They're beautiful.

It's such a great spot to go at the start or end of a dinner or lunch date. The classic lemon Turkish delight is my favorite thing here. You'll get a free little sweet when you order a coffee too.“
