“This barn is very unique. Fun experience for the family. You can feed the goats and chicken. Purchase really cool handmade soap and other souvenirs. You will enjoy the little farmer market on-site. There are home made ice cream and more treats.“
“This little hidden gem provides an intimate and welcoming ambiance for wine lovers and foodies as Region also partners with Hotel SLO's restaurant, Piadina. Highly recommend if you are wanting the perfect night out with wine and great food!“
“We have always been fans of the SLO location but always take out. We decided to visit Osos today and we’re not disappointed.Firstly they have additional menu items including a fantastic burger. We just had a plain cheese burger for my toddler and it was fantastic. We got our usual Dutch punch crunch (never disappoints). The Strauss soft serve ice cream was a nice surprise!Downsides were no big bags of chips and a really small selection of non alcoholic bottle/can drinks. There is a large gift shop area and a large selection of bottle wines. Both beer and wine on tap too!TLDRBurgers! Lots of seating, kid friendly. We will absolutely be coming back to this location.Kid-friendliness: Lots of high chairs available. Play kitchen space outside.“
“We've eaten Ziggy's every time we come to SLO and stay at my wife's favorite place, the Madonna Inn. Every damn time, Ziggy's is one of the highlights that I look forward to. I love the KCK Korean cauliflower salad, the buffalo chicken sando, the breakfast burrito, avocado egg rolls, the crunch wrap, the mushroom burger, the ratchet fries, and more! 10/10 would recommend.“
“Always a great place for deli salads, pizza, and pasta. I ordered a slice of Margarita pizza, the Caprese salad with ripe grape tomatoes, fresh mozzarella balls, olives, red peppers, and sliced jalapenos, and lemonade. This combo is less than $13. Fresh ingredients are brought in daily for their dishes. Service is fast and friendly. Plenty of parking in this strip mall and outdoor seating. Highly recommend it!“
“Great atmosphere and filled with people who enjoy their unique menu of ciders. Need to try their base (dry) in a flight along with other flavors that are based on this.Really enjoyed the unfiltered dry, and think my favorite flavored version was the cranberry.Vegetarian options: It's cider ?“
“We popped in here while on our walk from the Apple Farm to Cal Poly. It had been sprinkling so we wanted a hot cup of coffee and my son wanted a snack. My husband enjoyed his Gibraltar (espresso-based drink with steamed milk but less milk than a latte). I had an Oat Milk Latte with Honey Lavender which I had never had before. It had a unique flavor but not too strong. The cup was really big. They seem to only have one size. My son had the Raspberry Crumble Bar and he really liked it. The inside of the cafe is comfy with tables and chairs, plus lounge chairs lining the walls. They have an outdoor patio as well. The staff was friendly.“
“Wonderful selection of international and domestic wines. Love that they get people out of their comfort zone with something interesting! They can supply you with some domestic staples but it's always nice to see a location not be afraid to get you out of your boring comfort zone. Reds, whites, sparkling. Great cheese plates and friendly staff that always makes it enjoyable to swing in and grab a glass!“
“A highlight of our trip to the Central Coast! While it doesn't have a stunning view, it is a pretty, rustic, relaxing and charming place. Excellent wine! Excellent service too - nice people! What we especially like about Sextant is that instead of just serving bread or cheeses, you can actually get a meal here - and the food is very good - highly recommend!“
“As a Bavarian in America, this German restaurant was automatically worth a look. Looking for football twice as much. We came here to watch the Champions League and stayed to eat schnitzel. The taste was almost like being at home in a relaxed atmosphere with friendly service. We'd be happy to come back when we're nearby!Parking: There is a parking lot with ~30-40 spaces right next to the house“
“By far my favorite place to go and have a nice lunch in SLO. The staff here is fantastic, they are always so kind and place the customer first. The food is consistently amazing thanks to Miguel. Jeff and Crystal behind the counter are always super welcoming and have always made sure I am taken care of.“
“Have been a member of Wolff for many years and visit whenever I'm in town - the beautiful view and delicious wine are worth the visit (LOVE their Chardonnay!) Was a bit windy so we hung out with Sharyl in the tasting room and had the most enjoyable time. It was such a great tasting experience - delicious wine coupled with her bubbly narratives and extensive wine knowledge. The vineyard is also a great spot to bring a picnic, buy a bottle (or two) and hang out.“
“Parking sucks - all spots in the small lot were taken when I pulled in and I never saw anyone pull out within the 30 minutes I was here, after having paid for parking down the street. The line was long and didn’t move fast. The environment is hip, but loud. Don’t expect to get work done here. The coffee is great - five stars here.“
“We loved this winery so much we ended up going back a second day to just sit and drink glasses of wine. My husband said it is the best pinot noir he has ever had. I loved the sparkling wine and rose flight. Tim was the best. We really appreciated his kindness and explanations of the wines and winery.“
“We love coming to Biddle Ranch! After coming here with a friend who was a member, we fell in love with the olive trees in the sitting area and the amazing wine. The staff is always very friendly and prompt, even on busy weekends. Biddle Ranch also allows you to rent out the venue after hours and we took advantage of this to have a small get together with come clients while our favorite central coast band played some tunes. All in all, it is our favorite vineyard in SLO Cal and we are proud to bring out of towners in for a tasting.“
“This place is great.., cute little spot and the food (I had breakfast) was sooo delicious, I've never had a waffle like this and it's by far the best ever! They take your order before you sit and it being my first time here they were amazing at explaining different menu items, shortly after I sat my meal was brought to me, I sat in the window over looking the park across the street and people watched as they went by. Definitely recommend this place.“
“Fantastic option for catering events. The team was responsive, reasonably priced, extremely professional, and great at their craft. They were accommodating for last minute changes and brought their A-Game. Our event was elevated to a higher level having this awesome group come and cook for us!“
“Best breakfast EVER! The avo toast and salmon bagel were out of this world and the colors were like a summer California sunset. Not only were the flavors insane, they were IG-worthy. The restaurant was full of light, comfortable seating and the fiber art gives the vibe of a cool art exhibit. Chef Matti knocked it outta the park and Hakeem was so sweet, attentive and honestly, allowed us in for breaky right under the wire. Thank you!“
“Edit: Sequel has done an excellent job addressing my concerns. Both the manager and owner went out of their way to talk to me and my coworkers who experienced similar issues. They went over their cleaning procedures and we haven't noticed issues since.Twice now my drink has tasted like soap.“
“Located in the Public Market, the food there was good and tasty, though the quesadilla was bit oily. All in all it was a good meal and recommended to try. You order at the reception desk then you are paged to get your order. The staff were friendly and “
“No food. But that's not why I came. Beer. Beer me! lol they have a Roomba going around. It reminds me of a little pet lol it got stuck under my chair and made me giggle lol.. I have a half pour of view from tomorrow and a half pour of sky view. Feeling better and better. Beer-tender, she was nice and smiley! Made me smile back lol good service and would come back when around!“
“I recently had friends over for afternoon tea and macarons. My friends were blown away with how beautiful and delicious these macarons are. They couldn't believe they're gluten-free.It's a real challenge finding quality, delicious gluten-free treats, so I'm happy we have Monika's Macarons in SLO. I stop here regularly to pick up a couple to have with my afternoon coffee. They also have other delicious treats like carrot cake and creme brulee.“
“I had a medium hot caramel sutra and a navy special. The drink was great; it made me wish I had gotten a larger size. I never had a bagel with lox before, so I didn't know what to expect. The capers in it were a bit too salty for me. But overall, good. Service was good. I would come back here next time I'm in town and need coffee.“
“Mistura is Amazing, very highly recommended. I have been a frequent customer at Mistura over the last few years and it never disappoints me. Everything on their menu is delicious! Ambiance is great, very friendly staff and specially the chef and owner Nicola Allegretta is always very kind and makes us feel welcome every time.Mistura is a modern Peruvian restaurant that offers traditional elements of Peruvian Cuisine by using Peruvian ingredients and also locally sourced, natural and organic ingredients. My favorite dishes are Arroz con Marisco, Escabeche and Muy Machito (Fresh White Seabass Fillet cooked with spicy Aji Amarillo, Clams, Mussels, Shrimps, Calamari and White Wine served with Peruvian White Rice) love it! ? and Rompe Muelle one of their cebiche. Everything is so DELICIOUS.“
“The food was fresh, yummy and a welcome change from the rest of our road trip food. We ordered ahead to pick up and eat in the car. The order was correct and has all the right stuff like napkins and cutlery. Definitely will stop by again next time we're in town.“
“What a great find in the charming town of San Louis Obispo. The young lady who helped us took her time to make sure we knew all the different options available. There were so many wines to choose from and she was super knowledgeable on all of them, while taking into account our preferences. We ended buying 5 bottles and enjoyed them over a fun girls weekend camping in a vineyard. Perfection! Bonus: they are very dog friendly and even let my dog choose her favorite wine lol.“
“A highlight of our trip to the Central Coast! The view is simply stunning! We sat outside on a clear but chilly day, warmed by the fire pit. The wines were delicious, and were enjoyed even more fully with bread and Edna Valley house olive oil. We happily brought both wine and olive oil home with us!“
“Charming as hell. Can see why it has been around so long. Great sandwiches; quality ingredients and great bread. Thoughtful assortment of local/relevant food/wine and various cool Knick knacks. Will return again and would recommend to friends/family.“
“First time diners for a 2 birthdays celebration dinner. Started with the Rompe Niels ceviche appetizer which was a wonderfully mango-flavored ceviche and the Colorao cauliflower bbq flavored appetizer. We continued with the De Mi Tierra salad which was wonderfully fresh with crunchy quinoa and heirloom tomatoes. We shared the seafood paella between 4 to round out our dinner, and then enjoyed 5 - yes 5 - small desserts. They have reasonable corkage fee which worked for several of our favorite wines. We saw many additional meat and fish entrees as well as some tasty looking sushi and sashimi rolls at their Peruvian- Japanese fusion restaurant that will certainly bring us back for future lunches and dinners!“
“We got seated quickly. The waitress was friendly. The establishment was clean. Started off with the top shelf old fashion, which I loved. Then, we moved on the pulled pork fritters, which was delicious and much better than what I was expecting. Then the menu was 10oz ribeye steak grilled to perfection. I like my steak medium rare and did not disappoint.“
“Love, love, love! Hidden gem for sure! My friends and I were greeted by the family dog and each a glass if wine just after parking. We were given a brief introduction to the estate and history (oldest vineyard in the Edna Valley). With only three tables, it was intimate and absolutely lovely. The matriarch of the family, whose home is located there, came out and chatted with us all for a few minutes. She was very sweet and kind. I appreciated their bottles not being overly expensive. Considering they have only been open to the public for a couple of years, I do hope in the future they install a proper restroom (currently a port-a-potty) and add food items (i.e, cheese, chocolates) to pair with the wine.“
“Amazing food and service, crapes were fantastic, bagels were beautiful and tasted great. The service was great, a very sweet lady brought out the sweet crape and offered us water. Very sweet family business, their salt and pepper shaker collection was so funHighly recommend!“
“The vegetarian paella was amazing, and it was such a fun meal to share with the table. The place was busy, the service was good, and the food came out more quickly than expected.Vegetarian options: Having a veggie paella is incredible! And there were options for veggie tacos and other items as well.Dietary restrictions: Great options for vegetarians, dairy-free, gluten-sensitive“
“I didn't eat here so I'm not going to leave a negative star review. Why didn't I eat here? Their menu posted outside on the sidewalk is out dated. Like pre Covid; pre inflation outdated. I believe outside menu had Eggs Benedict @ $10.95 but when you sat down and received "toaday's" menu the price is $14.95 - almost a 40% increase. Hard pass and departed restaurant due to bait and switch on menu pricing.“
“Wow. Laura is an amazing bingo host. This place has been one of my favorite central coast breweries for a while. Unfortunately they are not exactly in my neck of the woods, but anytime I'm out drinking and see their beer on tap I will order whatever it is. I happened to be near their SLO location tonight "Wednesday". Bingo Night!! I will now make my way to Liquid Gravity any Wednesday night I'm free. Amazing beer and wonderful host and a great time. See you next Wednesday!!!“
“I am in love with Oak & Otter! We've been coming here since 2020 and love it every single time. Not only are the beverages (beer/cider/seltzers) great, the staff/other patrons are equally as fantastic! Everyone is super friendly and you'll definitely leave with some new friends. Our go-to's are their unique seltzers and delicious pretzels. They're located in a more industrial area but they are a MUST in my book. Love ya, O & O!“
“We went to see Dogs in a Pile on a weekday. Nothing like seeing a show where the space was built to be a concert venue! The sound was pretty good, great airflow, the stage and lighting were immaculate. Clearly a lot of money went into building out the space and I'd say they did a pretty good job.Parking: 12 hour parking on both sides of the street.Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs in sight.“
“Friendly coffee shop, good decaf espresso (yes, it can be good). Plenty of indoor and outdoor seats on relatively quiet street.Parking: Parking lot about 80% full at 10am mid-weekKid-friendliness: Plenty of outdoor seating off the parking lot to sit with kids.Wheelchair accessibility: At street level and curb drop ramp from parking lot.“
“Great little tasting spot in the middle of SLO! They have all natural wines, and the manager Steve will talk you through all the options. I had a glass of the brut cider (dry and delightful), and tastes of the Syrah-Grenache (my fav) and Pinot noir (Steve's rec). There are a few tables outside - in front and out back - as well as indoor seating. Some small snacks on the menu, but was also told I could bring my own food in if wanted. Definitely will be back for a glass or more when I come back to town.“
“Bliss makes wonderful, nourishing vegan food and the owners are lovely and passionate, both about the food they serve and connecting with the local community. (Big shoutout to Dara and Kyle!) The quality of the food at their Thursday SLO Farmer's Market booth is fantastic and portions are generous. I can easily get two meals out of the small, and three or more meals out of the large! My husband loves the Protein Buddha, and I am a recent convert to the fabulously lemony Banzo Bowl, but you can't go wrong with any of the options from Bliss :)We also ordered their prepared multi-course holiday meal for a special Christmas dinner in December (2023), and it was delicious! So many amazing flavors and dishes that satisfied vegans and non-vegans alike. I highly recommend ordering catered food from Bliss if you have the opportunity, and stopping by their booth on Thursdays!“
“This is a healthy casual food option. There were bowls and sandwiches and soups, with plenty of vegan and gluten-free options. With the oven making fresh focaccia up front, I ordered a sandwich. The banh mi was tasty and unusual with a focaccia bun. It was messy (needed two napkins and a fork), but I would order it again. The salad that accompanied it was so much better than the typical free side salad. It was dressed with a fresh herbal vinaigrette and not a single leaf was wilted or past its prime. There is indoor seating, which has that fast food vibe, and a covered outdoor area, where you are mostly protected from the occasional rain shower.“
“Delicious and satisfying food and drink, friendly and beautiful baristas. The ambience is great for studying or just hanging out and enjoying your food for a minute. They also offer a variety of at home coffee tools! Highly recommend stopping by, the energy is great here!“
“I stopped in while in the area, and ordered vanilla chai. It’s made with a cream concentrate, which I really enjoyed. The shop is very cute on the inside, very welcoming. My drink was made extremely quickly, and the barista were very friendly. I will definitely stop by again as I am in the area for work for the next several months. If you have not had the opportunity to stop in, I would recommend giving them a try. Admittedly, I did not have an opportunity to try any other items, but will be doing so within the next week or so.Parking: This shop is located next-door to Efren’s Mexican restaurant and they show the same parking lot. Depending on what time you get there it can be difficult to find parking.“
“Always yummy juice and the bottle exchange gives you a discount. All the food is clean and well priced IMO. Love the colored labels on the juice. The sweet greens is my favorite. Atmosphere is very on trend but it’s always empty and I never dine-in.Vegetarian options: Customizable to vegan“
“This place lived up to the hype! I got the Dutch Punch and loved it. The dutch crunch bread added the sweet, bacon added the savory, avocado added the creamy, and the spicy mayo brought a slight heat. Such a unique combination that totally works! Ordering ahead saved me the wait and my orderly was perfectly made. Highly recommend for those in search of fresh, local sandos!“
