“you gotta check out Finney's Crafthouse in San Luis Obispo!!. This place is all about the vibes, with drinks that pack a punch and an atmosphere that screams good times. And let me tell you about the food—it's straight fire. I chowed down on the smash burger and it was next-level delicious. Meanwhile, my wife went for the tri-tip tacos and they were a total game-changer. Whether you're looking to grab some grub or kick back with a few drinks, Finney's has got you covered. Trust me, you'll be coming back for more.“
“We got seated quickly. The waitress was friendly. The establishment was clean. Started off with the top shelf old fashion, which I loved. Then, we moved on the pulled pork fritters, which was delicious and much better than what I was expecting. Then the menu was 10oz ribeye steak grilled to perfection. I like my steak medium rare and did not disappoint.“
“We went to see Dogs in a Pile on a weekday. Nothing like seeing a show where the space was built to be a concert venue! The sound was pretty good, great airflow, the stage and lighting were immaculate. Clearly a lot of money went into building out the space and I'd say they did a pretty good job.Parking: 12 hour parking on both sides of the street.Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs in sight.“
“We met up with 2 other couples for a 2 night getaway in SLO. It’s a charming well appointed boutique hotel. Our room #4 was small but with upscale details. Minor negative: there is no closet just a couple of hangers in front of a mirror. The first night we did hear water noises in the middle of the night in the wall near our headboard. The good news was that it did not repeat the next night. Our friend’s rooms were slightly larger and they did not have any noise issues. The hotel manager was friendly and accommodating. The complimentary sparkling wine upon arrival was a nice touch. We visited the onsite bar for pre dinner drinks which was cozy and the bartender was knowledgeable and business like. Afterwards we had dinner in the restaurant. We brought our own bottles and corkage was reasonable. We also ordered several appetizers of which only the roasted Brussels sprouts was a standout that I remember. I had the hamburger as a main and it was delicious. Service and food prep were excellent. We enjoyed the upstairs lounge with the continental breakfast. WiFi reception was spotty up there though.Parking can be challenging if you want to park behind the hotel. It seemed like there was only 6” of clearance for our wheels on either side of the car when driving down the narrow driveway. We definitely would go back. We all had a great time.Noteworthy details: Nice details showing a wonderful design aesthetic.“
“One of my favorite spots for a classy drink+nice atmosphere in dt SLO. The dinner menu provides pretty decent options that accompany the cocktails well. Their kitchen isn’t unlimited, however, and I’d recommend arriving before 6 if you want variety in the menu as they run out of options quickly. They are currently serving Chinese fusion courses. I’ve attached a picture of the happy hour specials!“
“8/28: Celebrated my birthday here. Ordered the BBQ Chicken, was served a half chicken. A bit messy for the cloth napkins. Service was excellent. Atmosphere was pretty in pink. Barbie would be comfortable here. Best part the signature Pink Cloud cocktail and Pink Champagne cake!“
“Had an awesome cocktail (Bees Knees) with their house made gin. The server also whipped up an excellent mocktail Piña Colada for my wife, who isn’t drinking and it was top notch. Paired with a spicy tinned sardine plate sitting in the sun on the patio and it was perfection.“
“Oh let me just tell you this, cutest, coziest, classiest bar you can go in SLO.We stayed at Granda and thats how we got to know about this place! Their Cocktails are not the usual ones you get everywhere else. I am typical straight with ice girl but this place's Mezcal cocktail was one of a kind! We ordered albacore dish and Olives for appetizers. The sauce of albacore was sweet, sour and spicy!Something that I can eat for every meal! This place should be the MUST on your list!“
“I went in for the happy hour specials. I got the brussel sprouts and the cheeseburger for $10 each. The service was great and the food was delicious. Almost forgot to mention the beignets, they are amazing and moist. I cant wait to go back.“
“Came here on a Friday at around 11:30am. Was very empty in the area so that was nice. The guy working there was friendly and helpful. I had ordered a Cal Poly Gold Lager but I guess it was out so I ended up getting a Cali Squeeze - Blood Orange. Got the #2 The ClassicHouse made pork chile verde with whole black beans and Spanish style rice in a white cheese dilla with the avocado salsa and cilantro cream on the side and it was so good.“
“Had dinner there last night and the food was excellent. The menu was pretty basic, nothing unique, but the dishes we had were really good. I had the salmon which was cooked to perfection with sweet potato puree and roasted veggies that were yummy. My husband had the burger, great taste but the bun fell apart pretty quickly. Location is great, restaurant is very clean and modern but nothing really stands out as far as decor or vibe which is why I gave it a 4 vs. 5. Service was excellent, we did not encounter any delays or lack of attention. A solid choice for an upscale meal if you are looking for a steak, seafood, chicken kind of place.“
“Best breakfast EVER! The avo toast and salmon bagel were out of this world and the colors were like a summer California sunset. Not only were the flavors insane, they were IG-worthy. The restaurant was full of light, comfortable seating and the fiber art gives the vibe of a cool art exhibit. Chef Matti knocked it outta the park and Hakeem was so sweet, attentive and honestly, allowed us in for breaky right under the wire. Thank you!“
