We were a large party on a busy night. Leonard took care of us. We were early for our reservation and he worked hard to seat us early so we didn't have to wait. He sat us with Anne. She was great! Made sure we were stocked with chips and our glasses didn't empty. The food came quickly and was very good.
Don't forget that they do validate parking 😉“

“Absolutely amazing service and amazing food. Went in for a taco, it was the juiciest taco I’ve ever had. Sick of most places serving meat with burnt pieces, charred scraps, and excessive amounts of fat. Taco de Mexico serves tacos with none of that. On top of that the rice is amazing, definitely authentic. And the service was so welcoming. Definitely coming back!“

“I've been eating at Taco Roco for at least 25 years. Pretty sure it's still some of the same employees just a different location. The staff is wonderful! It's almost more of a Gringo style in my opinion, but always amazing flavor. As long as they're open I'll still be eating here. Their salsa that comes with the chips, and the creamy green salsa are my two favorite salsas in the world! My favorite torta as well!“

“the shredded chicken taco was my fav. got the shredded chicken, shrimp and pork tacos. we clap got a california burrito and birria taco. super laid back and great salsa selections. the spicy green one really comes with a kick. nice to eat outside on a sunny day.“

“Good mex...no frills here. Portions ate more than adequate. They make there own mild salsa, but options with more spice are bottled. The cleanliness could use some support. I would opt for food to go next time. The better news is I would come back. Lots of mex choices on the central coast. This one is not on the main drag but their prices reflect that...good value for money. They have a few standard mex beers on tap including Negra Modello.“

I’ve had a burrito from them every week for the past month—I think I might be hooked. Everything tastes fresh, well-seasoned, and satisfying. “My family had a fantastic experience at SLO Quesadilla Gorilla! We tried the Chicky Chicky Parm Parm, a Nutella quesadilla, a cheese quesadilla, chips and queso, and churro chips with caramel sauce—everything was absolutely delicious. The portions are generous, and we even had plenty of leftovers to enjoy later. Great quality for the price—we’ll definitely be back!“

“Great place to go after a performance or game for us cal poly drumline. The food here is delicious with great portions. The agua frescas are exceptionally great and staff is quick and super kind. Seating space could be better but with a limited building space and popularity in the area, it's understandable.“

“Their BRC's and salsa are some of the best in the county and are reasonably priced compared to many places. Whenever we are in a pinch and need something quick, cheap, and tasty, we'll call ahead and swing by to pick up a couple BRC's. They are always hot and fresh and their salsa is amazing.“
