Nadia especially was super kind and patient with the kids as they ordered.Shoutout to the prep team who not only got our whole order correct but labeled it clearly as well! Great job!The dining room is very pleasant thanks to the recent remodel.

Kid-friendliness: The 8 kids I brought were treated well by the staff. Patient and I know they have extra cleanup after we leave.

Parking: Easy to park, not usually busy. Has a drive-thru which is usually very speedy, too.“

Everything tasted fresh and honest. This is the kind of place you come back to and order the same thing every time because it is done right. Highly recommended.“

“This place was above and beyond. The barbocoa quesadilla was delicious. They had a salsa bar with chips and free refills for your choice of fountain drink or agua fresca. The bathroom was super clean. I was highly impressed. Their hand towels in the bathroom were even soft. The food was great and the servers were humble and kind, and the atmosphere was classy and clean. I would definitely come back.“

We also had the chicken Mole, which was very good, I was wishing for a little sour cream, but that isn't the style there. Chips and salsa were complimentary, and excellent. Didn't get a rumbling tummy after, which is always welcome. Will be back.“

“First time here and I was surprised.
The place is nice, but its empty from the inside. Its somewhat quiet, so it's calm. The waiter was polite and gave us chips and salsa. She was really patient.
I ordered a quesadilla "herradero" which is pretty big and it has a wonderful taste. I feel like it was a reasonable price.
At the end the waiter gave us peppermints. :)“

“The food was very good. However, the waitress brought me shrimp soup instead of Siete Mares Caldo. She gladly changed it for Siete Mares and when we were done eating the bill was like $69.00 I ask the waitress why and that it was wrong. She gladly corrected it and it came down to 61 and change. I wasn’t happy because I had added the food that we consumed and it was less than $60. I believe the owner saw me adding and noticed I wasn’t happy so he called the waitress and gave me the new bill for $56.00 I am telling the truth and that is why I gave this restaurant a 5 star because the owner did the right thing, after all said and done. Honesty does pay with good rewards. Thank you owner/manager, we appreciate your honesty and truthfulness. I will recommend everyone to eat here, for all the right reasons. Thank you“

“We arrived in Santa Maria in the evening. We chose California Birrias Y tacos because it was next to our hotel and the rating was above 4.5.It's one of the best Mexican we've had. I also ordered the red chilaquiles with Asada and I was so pleased with the taste of everything. The only thing that would have made it even better was if the tortillas were freshly made.“

“Each time I visit the Santa Maria area for work. I make it a point to eat here. I asked for a recommendation for a great Mexican restaurant while visiting the local Lowe’s. Everyone said to come here. I’ve never been disappointed. Great food and service. I was last there in August 2025. They were preparing over 600 tacos for a party. Never missed a beat for the customers dining in. Definitely recommend going there“

“HORRIBLE SERVICE. Placed an order over the phone and they got upset with me because I don't speak spanish. I've been a loyal customer for YEARS but no longer. They messed up on the order and I had to pay for them to fix it. They argued with me even though I repeated the order multiple times over the phone. Shame you've lost a loyal customer especially since I really do enjoy your food. Oh freakin well. The lady at the counter was super rude and judgemental as well.“
