All I can say is I LOVE this place. From scratch, done in their own special way, and just amazingly delicious. I’ve had many things but their pork lomo wrap stuffed with papaya, cheese, walnuts and greens made me want to cry. So gooooood!
2026: Still the best tortas! I lived in the San Francisco Mission for 2 years and tried all the best places (Picudos, Gorda, Carajo, That's It, Farolito, and more). But I still think Frutiland is better! The bread is giant but they don't skimp on the quality or quantity of fillings. A torta is $22 and is the equivalent of two normal tortas.
