“It is 3am,the DK sign says "Open", all lights on, personnel working, making donuts. The front door locked, the DK personnel open the sliding window to greet and take my order. The nice ladies greet with welcoming, warm smiles.I ordered the ham/cheese,croissants with jalapeno, warmed up, on a 41° nite,so good!Hot coffees, warmed donut holes, warm greetings, what more can one ask?Arnold said it best,"I'll be bock!"“
“Absolutely the best donuts in North County! What sets them apart is the dough. It's soft, but not airy. It's sweet but not too sweet. The texture is a perfect density. All this with glaze makes it a delightful experience to bite into. The couple who own the place are incredibly nice. It's always bright and clean inside. It's an oasis of yumminess.“
“The donuts are always fresh and baked perfectly. The owner is there 7 days a week and always very friendly. I love stopping in with my family and my neighbors. I still don't know the owner's name but she is very kind, always giving me wonderful recipes and succulents. We love having her in our community.“
“Ambiance: Adorable western style building that fits the aesthetic of the neighborhood Service: polite and informative. Great service from hard working young employees.Food: we had the ham & green chili quiche it was excellent! The quiche fed 4 adults for breakfast two days in a row. We also ordered a dozen donuts, all were excellent.“
“Okay, look. Everyone who knows me knows I hate doughnuts. I know..I know. But it's true. At least I thought it was. Then my boyfriend brought home Twisted and Glazed and I realized I'd just never had a good doughnut. Oh my god...I'm not going to even tell you my favorite here because you all will run get them and my weekend trip will be ruined. They're all good. Find your own favorite. And don't forget to get a chai tea. Maybe the best I've had.“
