“If you are visiting Avila Beach it’s a must to put Hula Hut on your list to stop for a delicious hand scooped ice cream! Your choice of cup, sugar cone, or waffle cone! The line can look long but the scoopers are fast and the wait is short! The store also has a huge variety of fun things to shop for from wind chimes to kitchen towels and much much more! I know the employees there enjoy their job because they are all smiling and laughing as they serve their customers. Highly recommend!!!“

“Great place to stop by for a coffee. I ordered iced latte with almond milk and pumpkin bread. Bread was nice but they use chai powder for the latter and they didn’t even mix it properly. It was ok for the taste but just something to keep in mind. It was so weird to literally have powder getting in your drink while you sip.“

“It's the first time I visit a coffee shop inside a surf shop. Initially I thought I was at the wrong place and looked around a little confused. The barista is probably used to it and was very nice and patiently waited for me to figure out it was the right place.

The menu has the classic coffee shop offerings but also offers a which was very intriguing. There were lots of good choices and I'll definitely be back to try the Smoked Iced Americano some other day.

I ordered the Salted Caramel Latte. It was a perfectly balanced drink and the bruleed sugar at the top was so good. The sweetness was just enough and didn't cover the taste of the coffee.

The service took the experience to another level. The barista was friendly and welcoming. He showed great attention to detail and had that beautiful latte art on top before he finished the drink off with the bruleed sugar.

I highly recommend this place and it will be my go to spot for coffee anytime I'm in the area.“

“We stopped in at 7:00 am on a Saturday, and the place smelled delicious. The coffee is rich, fresh, and smooth. The barista was friendly and very skilled. Definitely recommend.“

Keep in mind that this is past the “downtown” area but it shouldn’t stop you from getting your caffeine fix.
A old school Route 99 feel w/ roll up garage doors and high ceilings and lots of natural light.
Friendly staff and efficient service.
I had a terrific cappuccino.

“I've been to Breezeway Cafe once, and the folks who run the place are sweethearts. My partner spilled his Americano, and they remade it for him, which they didn't have to do. Their portions are enormous. A side of bacon and biscuits with gravy will last you, or at least me, two meals. The Strawberry Dream was great, perfect amount of ice cream, strawberries, and breading. My only feedback is both the gravy and breading could use a little more salt, but I'm sure I could ask for that next time. I wish they weren't 300 miles away from where I live“

“Great coffee spot in SLO. Very laid-back and spacious with both indoor and outdoor seating in a very zen open air space. They have well-made lattes, but I also was really impressed by their tea. I got an iced version of a hibiscus herbal tea. It was prepared well and not too watered down.

Great spot to come hang out and do work or have a chill catch up with friends. Staff are very nice and welcoming too. They also have a very cute shop of assorted goods next-door, which I enjoyed as well. Definitely one of the best coffee spots in SLO.“

“Best keto coffee I’ve ever had. Anywhere I go I ask for my expresso shots over extra ice with heavy cream, cinnamon powder, and sugar free vanilla syrup. It was like a spell!!! Lol this lil coffee shop stole my heart. I even purchased Mexican And Italian beans to go. I was a little surprised how fast and friendly the service was because it was a busy Sunday with only 2 employees! I definitely look forward to my next visit to pismo for this coffee! ❤“

I always go for an almond croissant, they are SO GOOD that they usually sell out! My second favorite is the raspberry oat bar 😍 But basically everything from their pastry box is incredible!

When on a hurry you can order online for pick up, is very easy, convenient and they have it ready super fast!“

Some big comfy couches and chairs, rugs on the floor, warm decor, and calmer quieter music would go a long way to make me want to come back in a town with a ton of options. “Located right smack in the middle of Julian’s downtown, this landmark café and apple pie shop has a lively old-fashioned diner atmosphere, friendly staff and is bedecked with antique family photos and shelves of jams and sauces for sale. I was expecting a bit more from the food; we ordered the top two items listed on the menu – chicken pot pie turnover in a pie crust with coleslaw and Back Country fried chicken with mashed potatoes. The menu is huge and varied so I think I'd try something else next time.“

“Ate here for breakfast this morning (took my food to go) and was welcomed with such cheer and friendliness by staff I felt immediately very welcomed. I had the Breakfast Burrito, they made it to my liking and, oh my gosh, was it delicious! I also got an apple fritter (for dessert) and it was excellent. It's a superb place to go for breakfast and great coffee and many tasty drinks and I very highly recommend Libertine for breakfast! I can't say enough about how their authentic friendliness and cheerfulness made my day. I wish all restaurants/coffee houses were this kind and friendly. Thank you!“

“The staff here are absolutely some of the friendliest and most helpful Starbucks staff I have encountered. Especially Paris. They were updating people as their items were getting put in the oven and repeating the orders as they were putting them out on the counter instead of just calling out names.

There are also a large amount of charging points throughout. More than I have seen in most stores.“

One person is hard pressed to take orders, make coffee, heat pastries, and keep things clean if there are more than 1 or 2 customers. Come on, management, staff the place properly.“
