“The best coffee shop in this area. There are several other shops, but this is your real cafe experience. There is a work space in the upstairs loft area, wifi and a pleasant work environment. It’s not too loud or quiet. The beach is right across the street ( video is attached) which I find to be refreshing and inspiring for my work. The coffee was delicious, I had a tuxedo mocha (half dark chocolate & half white chocolate) which was velvety, delicious and beautifully made.It was however a bit pricy for the area $7 for my latte, but that’s to be expected in this semi touristy part of California.“
“On a long journey north to Paso Robles, a stretch of the legs, some fresh ocean air and a delicious coffee and ice cream refreshment is just the ticket. Hula Hut has a great selection of ice cream flavors and is perfectly located right on Front Street to take your treats and go sit and enjoy. Parking We parked in the Avila Public Parking lot on First Street. Street parking is available but an open spot is always hard to find and this lot always has spaces. Its not free, or cheap, but worth it to skip the hassle of driving around for ages trying to find an open space elsewhere.“
“Great little place to stop in on while walking on the Bob Jones trail. They have good food for meals. Either to go or you can eat on site in a little dining area they have. It's more of a small scale grocers and deli. Every time I've been in here, the folks working have been very nice and I've always been satisfied with the food.“
“Great place for Boba & shaved ice. On a visit, we were introduced to the game, "Would you rather...?"Fun!! Enjoy the experience "Thank you" to the Family & Staff for the friendly "Welcome"Parking: Handicap parking available“
“Deltina formerly Quintessa. Is the best coffee in the central coast hands down.I loved coming in and getting my Large white mocha back when I lived here. They use dark roast for their espresso so it is always much more bold flavor wise than a medium roast or light for that matter.Loved the staff and the owner jack was always super kind and explained to me the entire roasting process which they do in house BTW.“
“$7.50 for a latte now. Wow!The food and coffee here are way overpriced. So I go into AG for the same latte for $2.00 less. The atmosphere is nice and roomy and the service just OK. Sometimes better than others, like when I came in and the staff went home early so no food was being served so I have been going into AG instead ever since. The hours are unpredictable. The food and coffee are good but I can get the same thing down the street for much less.If I do go I go for the homemade yummy muffins.“
“We popped in here while on our walk from the Apple Farm to Cal Poly. It had been sprinkling so we wanted a hot cup of coffee and my son wanted a snack. My husband enjoyed his Gibraltar (espresso-based drink with steamed milk but less milk than a latte). I had an Oat Milk Latte with Honey Lavender which I had never had before. It had a unique flavor but not too strong. The cup was really big. They seem to only have one size. My son had the Raspberry Crumble Bar and he really liked it. The inside of the cafe is comfy with tables and chairs, plus lounge chairs lining the walls. They have an outdoor patio as well. The staff was friendly.“
“One of my favorite coffee shops. Scorpion Bay Coffee offers a haven for coffee enthusiasts with it's cozy atmosphere, expertly crafted drinks, and tasty pastries. Beyond just a place for great coffee, it fosters a warm community vibe that makes every visit feel like coming home.“
“Parking sucks - all spots in the small lot were taken when I pulled in and I never saw anyone pull out within the 30 minutes I was here, after having paid for parking down the street. The line was long and didn’t move fast. The environment is hip, but loud. Don’t expect to get work done here. The coffee is great - five stars here.“
“Nestled into the small ocean front town of Avila Beach, California you will find a little piece of heaven on earth.....known to me as Reimer's. You can browse the mermaid and ocean themed gifts throughout the store while you wait in a short line for the highest quality ice cream I have ever tasted in my entire life....and let me tell you I have experienced some amazing ice cream from across the world. The friendly ice cream server answered my questions with a smile and in-depth knowledge about the various flavors and ingredients...I was pleasantly surprised and her recommendations were on point. I highly recommend stopping in and having multiple flavors of the ice cream, doing some shopping and make a selection of some incredible chocolates. World Class!“
