Great staff, great coffee, and a great location in SLOs Duncan Alley. Unfortunately, every time I've been in they only have one person running the whole place. One person is hard pressed to take orders, make coffee, heat pastries, and keep things clean if there are more than 1 or 2 customers. Come on, management, staff the place properly.
This coffee shop was really unique and the drinks are good quality!
The chai latte was one of the best we've had in town, so much flavor! Latte was good too. The breakfast burrito, on the other hand, was extremely sad. We split it, and my half literally only had one bite of bacon. Basically just hash browns in a tortilla, and way overpriced for the quality. We also spent $6 on a bagel that was one of the saddest bagels I've ever seen. Deflated, and they were out of cream cheese. KBRG Coffee Lab is a great spot with great coffee and a great location in SLOs Duncan Alley. The chai latte is one of the best in town, with so much flavor, and the latte is good too. Great coffee and matcha are available. There is a lot of space for sitting indoor and outdoor, with plenty of room to sit outside or inside, and even in the bright afternoon sun the outside offers plenty of shady spots. The staff are really friendly, and the baristas are very kind, offering great service. It is a really nice place to hang out, with a large area indoors, one wall open for fresh air, a mural, plants, and comfortable seating. Outside, there are trees, comfortable chairs, and a good breeze on hot days. Parking is easy along Duncan Road. However, the breakfast burrito is extremely sad, with basically just hash browns in a tortilla, and the bagel is deflated. Come for the chai and espresso.
