I regularly drop by the nautical bean for a cup of delicious coffee. They have a self serve station if you are on the go and don't have time to order or if you only want coffee. The wait time is reasonable And it is a very relaxing place to enjoy breakfast and coffee or tea if you prefer that. They showcase pastries from different areas in San Luis Obispo. The menu is easy to follow when ordering drinks this place has indoor and outdoor seating.

I had a medium hot caramel sutra and a navy special. The drink was great; it made me wish I had gotten a larger size. I never had a bagel with lox before, so I didn't know what to expect. The capers in it were a bit too salty for me. But overall, good. Service was good. I would come back here next time I'm in town and need coffee.
