Based on the reviews, Starbucks Coffee Company is a place where the drinks can be a treat and the atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. The baristas are often friendly, providing great customer service and making orders just right. They write happy little messages on cups and sometimes go above and beyond, like remembering a customer's usual soy milk order. However, the quality of the food and drinks has been inconsistent. One major issue is that the hot matcha frequently has lots of chunks of matcha powder floating in it because the matcha is not blended well. The breakfast sandwiches and egg bites are often a little lukewarm in the center. Another downside is that there are no power outlets, which is off putting for anyone wanting to get work done on a computer. While the seasonal truffle hot sauce was really good, many feel the restaurant has generally gone down hill, leading some to support local places instead.
