“Deltina formerly Quintessa.Is the best coffee in the central coast hands down.I loved coming in and getting my Large white mocha back when I lived here.They use dark roast for their espresso so it is always much more bold flavor wise than a medium roast or light for that matter.Loved the staff and the owner jack was always super kind and explained to me the entire roasting process which they do in house BTW.”

“Me and my husband went on a road trip and stopped by here for some lunch. We got a chicken and asada burrito. It made the entire trip for me. The homemade tortillas are amazing. Everything else was amazing. Highly recommend.”

“While I am unable to truly post a review on the “atmosphere” due to it pouring rain and I was the only customer there, the umbrellas (clearly meant to provide shade from the sun) were a welcome cover to the sudden downpour and so was the tri tip sandwich. Delicious! It was a great meal following my amazing experience ATV riding on the Dunes. Combining for a brilliant start to my day. Rain and wind can’t ruin a great thing! Also the owner threw in a complimentary Clam Chowder, probably based on the fact that I supported them on a day when due to the weather, he wouldn’t be very busy. The Chowder was excellent, flavorful and filling! Remember though this spot is outside seating only, so be prepared for rain or shine!”

“Defiantly NOT Authentic but still so delicious. Stopped by on a very busy saturday and only waited 15 minutes to be seated so not too bad. The food ordered were really slow but luckily the server was re-filling the chips and salsa fairly quick. The drinks were really good and plenty of options of tequila. The decor was on nice from the cups to the tables. Overall my experience was good.”

“This is a fun and funky diner in an old rail car. The interior is papered with old ads from prior decades and old fashion jukeboxes are in each table ( just for decor). They bbq and also have Greek food on the menu so a plethora of choices depending on your mood. A nice place for a casual lunch or dinner.”

“Crab soup was wonderful. Scallops were fine/nothing special. The purple sweet potatoes were pureed and tasted like snotty, runny baby food.The swordfish served with bordelaise sauce didn't work. The crabcake lillikoi pepper jelly was way too overwhelming.Sadly disappointed.”

“The food is amazing!! Antionette, Raul and the staff are amazing. Great service!!! Antionette and the staff were so great doing what they do!!!! We loved the fact when we learned they are now dog friendly. Truly was the reason we came because we could bring our Berne-doodle. Sadly when we asked for a piece of grilled chicken for her, they accepted the order and then came back with it had to be at the same price as the chicken breast on the menu. We sucked it up, and it came with all the seasoning whereby she could not eat it. Almost $40 for something she could not eat. We travel all of California. EVERY dog friendly restaurant has a plain burger or chicken breast they can make for your dog in the $5-$8 dollar range. So they may say they are dog friendly, it appears they are merely dog tolerant which in California seems out of touch. Sad to waste such great food and service at those prices when you can't make reasonable exceptions for your dog.”

“Fantabulous service, staff and food. Just stopped in for cocktails as I haven't been back since middle of pandemic for a housemates birthday a year ago. So got briefed on new and revisited this old cocktail, Tye Old fashioned. Boyfriend got a glass of wine and ordered us jalapeño poppers, so good! Great ambience, bar looks like it's under the ocean waves.”

“This is one of those "off the beaten path", "surprise find"-type places. We expected a restaurant, but the food counter is inside a liquor store. Regardless, super friendly staff, OUTSTANDING food, and more than ample portions. We took our food to a nearby park and enjoyed the views of the ocean.”

“Driving through town, we needed a bite and want to thank all you 5-star reviewers of Spoon Trade for steering us here because the food was fantastic! It was a busy Saturday afternoon and we got one of the last tables available. Super friendly service straight away and a great vibe all around. Very interesting menu! A diner for foodies. Wife had the vegetarian Tikka with a side sausage patty, which she loved, and my son had the Benedict, which of course I tasted via dad tax and it was rich and yummy. I was going to get the chicken and waffles, which looked delicious on other people's tables, but opted for the duck noodle soup, which was a tasty ramen. It was on the pricy side, but everything was such great quality, original recipes, and made to order. We look forward to visiting again!”

“$7.50 for a latte now. Wow!The food and coffee here are way overpriced. So I go into AG for the same latte for $2.00 less.The atmosphere is nice and roomy and the service just OK. Sometimes better than others, like when I came in and the staff went home early so no food was being served so I have been going into AG instead ever since. The hours are unpredictable. The food and coffee are good but I can get the same thing down the street for much less.If I do go I go for the homemade yummy muffins.”

The workers were very nice and helpful. I think that you should definitely give this place a try and support this small business.i also loved all the decorations and the inspirational quotes on the inside. I loved the mirror in the bathroom and the back of the door. They also, have a lot of different food options. So, you do not just have to get a smoothie they have other things as well. in conclusion, I would recommend this place as it is very nice and homey!!”

“El Tapatio is a very special place indeed, and just a hop, skip, and a jump from the bigger, Central California city of Santa Maria. The fun begins when you enter and see a colorful, festive, happy place with a giant, old juke box that sits quietly at the entry, and vibrant Mexican music oom pa pa' ing loudly from the open galley kitchen. But best of all, it's the delicious smells that greet your descriminating nose. Eddie and Mimi, the dedicated, friendly owners/husband and wife team, are very proud of their little diner, as well they should be. This little cafe has been in the family since 1988, handed down from father to son in 2018. They don't take shortcuts. Each morning starts with a trip to the local market for fresh produce. And living in Guadalupe puts you right at the center of some of the finest, vast agricultural heartland you could imagine in California. It doesn't get any better for quality. Our eyes got bigger and bigger as the food rolled out. The first thing on my agenda before ordering had been to sample the chile verde sauce. It was a bright, lightly herbal tomatillo sauce with chunks of the juiciest pork I could hope for. I knew immediately things were heading in the right direction, so I ordered a chile verde enchilada. But I wanted to make this a combo because I could not resist trying the chile relleno either. The Chile Relleno was magnificent. Eddie starts with a cheese-stuffed, monster-sized pasilla chile and a delicate batter. He lightly cooks it so that platter-sized pasilla is still slightly crunchy. His salsa for the chile is homemade, made of sauteed, fresh tomatoes and onion. Wonderful, not greasy. Mr. B had eyes only for the Camarones Mojo de Ajo. What arrived at our table was a huge platter, half of it filled with medium shrimp in a generous butter garlic sauce cooked to perfection. As if the entrees were not enough to bring tears of joy to our eyes, the sides of beans and rice were superb as well. And I have to mention that the complimentary corn chips and salsas brought to our table when we sat down were our first clue that we were in for something special. Two small bowls of dip arrived, one containing their rich, authentic refried beans topped with a drizzle of verde sauce and melted white cheese, the other was a vibrant cilantro avocado sauce with a slightly spicy tang. The tortilla chips were freshly fried...they make their own. Mimi assured us that nothing is pre-made nor popped in a microwave here. There is no microwave. Easily verified, tasting was the final proof. This will be a regular stop for us when we pass through. Just make sure they are open that day. Don't waste your time in Santa Maria. I challenge you to find better, home-style Mexican cuisine than here.”

We got the Meatball Hero, steamed fresh veggies, margarita pizza add pepperoni, and some mud pie for dessert. Everything was fantastic and soooo cheesy! I'm already ready to go back and it hasn't even been 24 hours.... Keep up the great work”

“Ooooo. These cinnamon rolls are a MUST when you are in Pismo beach. We especially love the walnuts lathered with the frosted cream cheese. Delicious!!!! There was a line early in the morning, but it was well worth it. It is huge so you can share it with others. There is parking right up front and across the street. There are also seating outside. You can watch them make these cinnamon rolls as well.”
