“Was curious to try this place out, especially as it's bit of a ways off from more heavily traveled corridors like US 101. Though it is next to Route 1, so it does get its fair share of traffic.

I ordered the BBQ Chipotle Chicken Sandwich, and after a few bites, I can see why this place is rated highly. The sandwich tasted fresh, and the chicken was juicy. I also ordered some Creamy Pesto Pasta a side to complement the sandwich, and the dressing and veggies in the salad really held it together.

I haven't had a delicious sandwich in awhile, and I'm glad I decided to try out this place on a curiosity. I'll be definitely coming back in the future.”

“A perfect quick stop, I even came in 30 minutes to close and without hesitation they whipped up one of the tastiest falafel wraps(The #18 on the right side of the menu) on the central coast. All of their sauces have distinct and delicious flavors and I can't recommend them more.”

She definitely made us feel at home and comfortable and excited about her job and the history of what this place is and has become. “food was phenomenal. the bread and butter they give is so amazing. would definitely come back. the service was ok, the just stared when we walked in and were a bit rude in the end they turned it around. it is also a bit small in there. in my opinion, for how good the food is, it all makes up for it.”

“Yes, you will need a reservation, but they were kind enough to reserve a special table for us to honor our 10th anniversary! We were greeted with smiles and staff was quick to offer either still or sparkling water [nice]. Our water pourer, Maddie, was ahead of our thirst all evening and our glasses never were empty [we went through three bottles!]. Our server, Haley, was attentive and professional. She very capably poured the Justin Isosceles and went over the menu to answer any questions. My tuna tataki was exceptional...it may be an appetizer, but it was incredibly tasty and filling. The lady thoroughly enjoyed her local sablefish [first time] and its yummy accompaniments. The wine list is strong and reasonably priced. Beautiful views of Pismo Beach enhance the dining experience. The restaurant is on point, clean top notch restrooms and obvious elegance. We couldn't believe there wasn't any dress code...folks showed up looking like they just walked off the beach without a wink. Ahh...the beach life in Pismo is quite relaxing.”

“The staff at Ada's was very friendly and accommodating. They were able to make adjustments to dishes if requested. Ada's clam chowder was different from other places I have ordered clam chowder (comparing with Ivars and Moe's); added fresh chives, gave the broth more flavor than usual. The potatoes in the chowder were the right consistency. Creamy soup without seeming like gravy nor thin. The portion was about 1.75 cups. Ample side sourdough bread. The crust was soft and not dried out. The staff was accommodating, providing peppermint tea and plenty of hot water in a teapot, which I found charming. Parking is an issue, but welcome to costal CA. Everyone has consisdered the limits of possible parking and made diagrams in compensation. The indoor dining room tables are fairly close proximity, so be prepared to possibly know the topic of your neighbor's conversation.”

“Me and my family decided to go to this spot on a whim and we were surprised with how laidback and nice this place was. Parking is very limited so be prepared to walk a small distance, but that shouldn’t deter you from coming! The prices are good for what you get. I got the Chipotle Seafood Penne Pasta, and it was one the best seafood plates I have had at Pismo! Everything was fresh and was ready very quickly. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful whenever there was a chance. It was calm but busy throughout our entire time, but never once did it feel overcrowded or too loud to have a conversation. Highly recommend for any seafood lover or local!”

This family-owned restaurant makes us feel like close friends every time we walk in. Our 2.5-year-old even knows the owners by name and loves seeing and chatting with them—it's that kind of place. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, making it the perfect hangout, especially for families with kids. And the food? Always delicious—no matter what we try, it’s consistently amazing. My husband loves their beer selection and usually lets Ben (the owner) surprise him with a choice. Ben’s also great at crafting tasty nonalcoholic drinks for those not drinking. His wife, Michelle, is the sweetest woman. She has a passion for flowers and always fills the café with beautiful fresh arrangements. She’s also incredibly kind and patient with our daughter. Together, Ben and Michelle make every visit feel like we’re visiting friends. Most weekends, there's live music that adds to the great vibe.
