After a long day of (windy) driving, checking in and finding it's Monday and the main restaurant is closed, we ordered bar food...holy toledo, it was AMAZING.

A tradition no more.
While camping next door, our group traditionally makes a night out at the Sideways Lounge for their delicious homemade sausage dogs. They had a variety of delicious dogs as well as the most amazing vegetarian dog you ever ask for. The fried chick peas were out of this world, but for whatever crazy (plain stupid) reason the kitchen decided to nix the dogs. In protest, we will no longer make the Sideways Lounge part of our camping tradition. Boo!

What a cool place! Whether you're inside at the bar are outside around the fire pit it's all very comfortable. They have a little airstream trailer that serves snacks with excellent sausages. Great cocktails and lot of beer on tap.
