We LOVE our weekly date night at A-Ru! Tiger is a fabulous sushi chef. Great food, great service! Always worth the drive from Santa Maria.
Great authentic Japanese restaurant experience in Buellton. Friendly service and excellent quality food at a fair price. Someone 4 years ago gave them a poor review claiming the owner was Chinese. This is nonsense.
Best sushi in the valley.

A-RU Japanese Restaurant offers a variety of dishes with generous portions, including their two-side combination and unique rolls like the Red Dragon and Spider Rolls. The halibut appetizer is a must-try, known for its freshness. This is a nice little gem in nearby Buellton. The Yakatori melted in my mouth, so tender, juicy and flavorful along with other dishes. The quality of the fish is impeccable given their fair prices. The food is solid and not too expensive. This is a local favorite. Very friendly and welcoming folks.
