What a lovely gem! A lovely kind server who was so friendly and nice! The food was good but the service was noticeably exceptional! A good breakfast - we had corned beef hash and standard eggs and bacon. The biscuits were especially good!

Stopped by for a bite - located conveniently off the 101 and across the street from Anderson's Split pea this cute diner style restaurant has inside seating only- the dining room is decorated with vintage kitchen items from the 1950s and beyond. The wait staff is warm, kind and attentive. We had the club sandwich. It was huge! It comes with fries but I requested a side salad substitute and it was great- homemade croutons, veggies and the salad dressing tasted very fresh. The club sandwich was so huge I took half of it home. It is made the way I like it with lettuce inside each layer of sandwich. Hubby had French Toast made with cinnamon swirl bread. It was delicious and hubby wolfed it down. The portion was also large- maybe 3-4 slices of bread cut in half, dipped in egg, grilled and served hot. Prices were about $15-$20 Per person and parking was easy and plenitful. Only open for breakfast and lunch- they close at 2 PM so plan accordingly. Great place.

9am weekday breakfast was good, standard cafe fare in a homey, unhurried atmosphere. Coffee better than many. Service was outstanding and friendly, which brought the overall experience up to the 5-star level.

We all enjoyed our breakfast here. Their biscuits and gravy are amazing. Staff is great and attentive. If you're in the area and looking for a breakfast, it is worth a visit.

Quickly greeted and seated. Waitress was very friendly. There was a fun ambiance to the restaurant. I didn't get pictures of our food because we were on our way home from a weekend in Solvang and just tired. I had the biscuits and gravy (I just have to try at every new place we go to) They did not disappoint. Very good but the star of my plate was actually the home fries... seasoned perfectly!

FANTASTIC. We've gone there dozens of times the last several years, usually weekdays, early morning. First-rate food and service, charming ambiance, reasonable prices, great coffee. I always have the breakfast wrap with egg spinach feta, it's delish. Really the place can't be beat.

It is a quaint breakfast place. The morning we arrived, the service was slow, but the food was acceptable.

Had a decent experience ordering through Doordash earlier in my vacation so we decided to try in-store dining our last day. Upon being seated we were informed that the kitchen wasn't open to allowing a lunch item to be ordered 14 minutes before 11am. (Lunch hours according to menu) This wouldn't have been a huge deal if we hadn't ordered the day before via Doordash at 8am including multiple lunch items. It was the complete unwilling to even suggest a solution. I did check the Doordash App before leaving the restaurant and they had all the lunch items available for delivery AND pickup on the App. So I am not certain if it was just my party that received this type of service, but I can honestly say that it was more than disappointing.

We always stop here for breakfast going up or down the coast. This is a nice, large place, very clean. The food and we’ve only had bacon or sausage and eggs is very good, nothing special but the food is always fresh and good. If I lived here I would eat here. The lady that seems to always be our server is super sweet and has gorgeous skin lol. Easy to find, easy to get back on the 101. Like I said if I lived here I’d come for breakfast.

I went here with Debra R, Jose R and a group of people for breakfast. I got the chicken fried steak and eggs. Debra R got the Jeremy breakfast and Jose R got the food. Everybody else also got food. The food was really good and the interior design looks good too.

Well, you just lost a customer that stopped there on most trips to SoCal, Solvang, etc. Bad enough your menu says $15 for (3) tiny pieces of French Toast (more like 3 tiny pieces of bread) then the receipt charges $17.05, plus $2.50 to split it, then $3.35 for coffee... $30 for 3pc of bread, coffee, & tip? Come on! Cost of goods $2? Bye Bye! Never again.

I had the ribeye special, added biscuits and gravy side, everything was good but not much spice, really great service, great atmosphere, I would eat here again. Price is good for this crazy Biden economy.
