“I saw this place on Yelp and the pictures looked amazing so I had to try it out. I do really like the modern minimalistic feel of the restaurant and the service was quick as well. The food was alright, I enjoyed the spring rolls but felt the pho broth was too salty for me. Regardless I had a good lunch experience here.“

“My favorite soondubu place! Korean restaurants don't usually have much vegan banchan but Surawon always has plenty of options, usually at least 4 out of the 6 or so banchan are vegan. My favorites are the firm tofu and seaweed. The mushroom, seaweed, and veggie soondubu, as well as the japchae, bibimbap, and pajeon can all be made vegan, and everything is excellent. Service is quick and friendly!Vegetarian options: Plenty of clearly labeled vegan options on the menu“

“Original Bone Broth ?It’s hard to dispute the fact that Los Angeles’ Koreatown is the mecca for Korean food in the United StatesI’ve never lived close enough to explore it well but did this past week sampling soy marinated raw crabs, short rib stews, and multi-colored banchanMy favorite however was the traditional ox bone soup. In the SF Bay Area, I most often order the more flavorful galbi tang (short rib soup) but the sul lung tang is as close to Korea and the go-to in LAI’ve been wanting to try Han Bat Shul Lung Tang for close to a decade and it did not disappointJust a pinch of salt, plentiful scallions and a side of kimchi and rice made the perfect meal combinationThe broth is milky white (side note I also tried the clear sul lung tang at Young Dang) and it’s so full of rich beefiness you can easily tell it’s made over hoursParking isn’t as bad as I’ve always feared in LA with plentiful lots and parking structures in Koreatown that makes it a destination worthy of your time? Salgoki Sul Lung Tang $20 ~ brisket / Seokum $20 ~ mixed / Naejang $20 ~ Intestines, Tripe, Spleen?Hanbat Sul Lung Tang (Los Angeles, CA)Seating is indoor only and limited metered street parking is available nearby. Credit cards are accepted.“

“Excellent restaurant, very clean and the food is great. Only issue is the parking, only street parking but it’s not a big deal. After eating delicious food you don’t care about it.Parking: Wish they had a parking spot, but after eating good food at a good restaurant it doesn’t matter.“

“Wow! The best marinated pork ribs! Come on down to Jin Ju. It isn't an all you can eat spot, but you can't beat the quality. My friend and I decided to try the prime beef and the marinated pork ribs (which is their speciality). Both meats were very delicious. They pretty much cook your food for you. The beef was cut into nice cubes. They were cooked at a perfect medium rare. The prok ribs were also cut into pieces, as well. There was a good selection of 10 types of banchan: fishcake (eomuk bokkeum), sesame broccoli, kimchi, potato salad, cucumber kimchi (sigeumchi-namul), stir-fried glass noodles (japchae), korean spinach, pickled onions, bean sprouts (kongnamul), pancake (yachaejeon), and radish kimchi (kkakdugi) . And honestly, this spot has one of the better quality banchan sides. The japchae had so much flavor, and the potato salad was also good. I appreciated that they offered the pickled onions, which goes really well with the marinated pork. My friend was also excited that they had korean spinach, which most places don't have at all. We also ordered the red pepper paste soup. It was so good! Rick and full of flavor. There's enough seating for 2-6 people to each table. It's not too big of a spot, so if you're trying to get away from the long lined spots - this is the spot to be. Service is quick and friendly. There is free parking in the lot if you're lucky. If not, you can find free street parking.“

“I want to start out saying I never take the time to write reviews, but I want this place to thrive and stay around forever. Phenomenal fusion food, awesome and unexpected presentation (the ramen is served under a smoky bubble!!), friendly and helpful staff. Top stuff. Can't recommend enough. Will be going back.Vegetarian options: vegetarian ramen broths!! In our world of seemingly only meat-flavored ramens, Redwhite Boneless Ramen really stands out with it's delicious vegetarian-only dishes packed with delicious fusion flavors.“

“I wanted to say the Manger Mr.Miguel and the very sweet waitress was so incredibly awesome tonight with me. I fell apart on the phone crying my eyes out and screaming. I had a very bad month and I needed just a person to listen to me and they did. He even came outside to check on me. A complete stranger. They both cared about me. I am so greatful to them that I will be back next week and as often as I can. I am home now and I wanted you all to know how amazing they are. It’s more than a restaurant it’s like family. People that not only care about what they serve you (food wise) it’s more than that.“
