“Love Shlap Muon! Best chicken wings I’ve ever had—my favorite is the Jalapeño MSG with a side of Buffalo sauce! I first tried their food in San Francisco earlier this year and had to visit the new location on my family vacation. It didn’t disappoint as all of our food was excellent and the owners are so friendly. Best of luck in SoCal!“

“Feels like a modern trendy hip pho spot that totally passes the vibe check. We were greeted as we came in even during the busy dinner time.Sat at one of the booths with space to have a stroller next to us without being in the way for others. The staff are super friendly with awesome ink tats and just super chill.I ordered the #4 pho with streak and brisket which was yummy, next time I will for sure get a large. We got 2 orders of the #30 the minced pork and veggies egg rolls which were delicious and gone as quickly as they came.Huge dinning area with a modern rustic open kitchen décor.Needed to stay up so I got me a Vietnamese coffee which was on point. Can’t wait to come back to try other things off the menu.Parking: Big parking lotKid-friendliness: Able to fit a stroller next to our table“

“Casual family-run Vietnamese spot that serves classic eats. Came here for dinner at 8pm on a weeknight with a friend and there was no wait. Parking is available in the back. Indoor dining only. Credit cards accepted. There was a Yelp check in deal where you could get 5% off your bill. We ordered some spring rolls as apps to share and they were very crispy. I had the pho tai and it was very filling. I liked the broth and the leftovers kept fairly well the following day.“

“This is probably the most popular place to get your lunch at from students and faculty at El Camino College. Every meeting I'm at around lunch time I see someone eating from Mr. H. I really love their spamasubi and their miso soup. It reminds me of my high school days when people would sell spamasubi from their backpacks. The place has a few tables and chairs to sit on if you are looking to dine in or wait for your food. Cool thing about their service too is they have a buzzer for when your food is ready. Sometimes it takes a little long to get the food to come out but it's always hot and ready to eat when they do.“

“MIAN is a wonderful place for some really good food. There are great selections and the menu will satisfy all dietary requirements. The Crispy Half Chicken is great and the Spicy Beef Noodle is a can’t miss dish. This is a place that you will want to go back to again and again to taste everything on the menu.“

“It was love at first bite, went to try this spot cuz the other spot closed down. Ordered Chow Mein with Veggies, Kung Pao Chicken, Mongolian Beef, Broccoli Beef, Walnut Shrimp, and some fried rice. Everything was so bomb, each food had its own flavor yet could feel it's fresh. Place kinda threw me off with how empty it was but people bought their food to go. Would come back here to recommend family and friends.“

“This is my second time having this place, and the biang biang noodles are the absolute best!!! Great Chinese fast food with large portions and decent prices. This is located in 99 Ranch and there is lots of seating available in front of the shop. You order at the cashier and they bring your food to you. Food didn't take too long to come out. Server was nice. What we ordered: -General Tso's Chicken: My mom recommended this because she's heard that this dish is good at Chinese restaurants, but honestly it was pretty mediocre compared to the other options that this place offers. It's kind of like an orange chicken/sweet and sour chicken and not spicy. It's a safe choice to get if you're not into trying different foods. You just know that this isn't what they specialize in. 3/5 -BIANGBIANG Spicy Hand Pulled Noodles: These are some of the best noodles I've ever had! I love them! They are thick, chewy, and LONG. They are kind of difficult to serve just because they're so long. Honesty just eating like 4 noodles is enough to get me full. Make sure you're not wearing a white shirt because the chili oil will splatter on you. The chili oil is super flavorful and delicious but SPICY for a regular spice level. I do wish that they came with a bit more bokchoy and sprouts, just so that there was a bit more variety in texture. But I'd say that this is such a solid noodle dish, it's definitely what makes this place special. 5/5 Overall, I really enjoyed this place both times I've gotten it. I recommend the pan fried pork buns because I really enjoyed those last time, and of course the biang biang noodles! This will definitely be a staple place to grab some great Chinese food!“

The food was incredibly delicious, showcasing authentic flavors that left my taste buds in awe. The ambiance was enhanced by the charming touch of traditional music, creating a delightful atmosphere. What truly stood out was the exceptional service - always delivered with a genuine smile. A 5-star gem that I wholeheartedly recommend to anyone seeking an outstanding dining experience!“

“Had such a delicious dinner here. We knew they were known for their soba and tempura and we enjoyed these for sure, but I can’t stop thinking about the Berkshire pork rice dish! The atmosphere was cozy and the service was so friendly. Also thought the prices were reasonable for the quality and portions. I’m looking forward to going back!Parking: Limited free parking lot in the back“

“My favorite spot for Vietnamese food. Prices are fair. Portion sizes are huge. Best if all it's authentic. They also have dishes from different regions of Vietnam. This time I order Pho Ga, Banh Knot, Egg rolls, Curry fried rice, Beef Banh mi, all the desserts & salty plum soda. Everything was delicious. We had nice amount left overs. After we went home into our food coma.“

“Pictured is the Josui Ramen..This was their signature bowl with a broth made from pork, chicken, and fish. Overall, this was a well executed bowl, especially at this price point (~$13 as of May 2024). It's refreshing to see a signature bowl at a ramen shop that is not just the regular paitan tonkotsu or miso.(psst ig @schw3i for my ramen log)“

“We love this place :) The older gentleman who works there is always very friendly and helpful. It feels like a mom and pop restaurant, very cosy. I usually get udon and the popcorn roll and my partner gets the bento box. We've tried most of the dishes and enjoy them all. We keep coming back not only for the food but the warm welcome from the adorable older man who works there, he reminds us of our grandpa :)“

“Small location, drove by it three times before I found it. If looks could be deceiving was a restaurant, this is it. Looking at the location you may think, eh, idk if should eat here. But let me tell you, the cost was great $14 for a nice portion of PHO. The flavor was delicious, the meat was tender, and the broth was on point. The staff was very friendly, they made sure I had everything I needed. They even have a drive thru, never seen anything like it. A must try if you're in the area.“

“Best Korean Chinese food! Attention! The best part is that they make their own noodles! For that reason their Black noodles is an absolute must by default. :) yeah... Thank me later. Their noodle texture is just out of this world perfect. Most other places use the same pre-made manufactured kind. Their fried sweet and sour pork is so crispy and tender... Goes perfect with the aforementioned black noodles. The owner personally manages this location so the quality is always good.Parking: Plenty of parking.Kid-friendliness: Lots of menu options that most kids would eat. My kids love it here. Fried rice is good option.“

“Casual dining for pho and crawfish, I only had time for lunch so pho it is. It was bland, no flavor yet the meat is great with their customer service on point, ask and you shall receive, it was an good foe the location and the price is a little high but now a days, it's like that everywhere.“

“These were really great crab wontons or rangoons whatever! Nice flavorful crispiness. I would have really preferred to dip into the same sweet and sour sauce that was drizzled on top instead of the water spicy mayo so will request that change if there is a future visit. I have a sore throat so didn’t want any spice in my ramen. Overall good but think the sauce was on the more bland side compared to say Jinya. Probably more flavor as spice levels increase. The soft boiled egg was done perfectly. Overall enjoyed my meal“

“Oh my god. I don't normally leave reviews but I just ordered delivery from here and I had to. This is the best Thai food I've had in LA. Period. I got the Pad See Ew (See You Again, for sure), Basil Crispy Chicken Wings and Thai Iced Tea. SO GOOD. The Pad See Ew is so flavor packed. The beef and noodles are cooked to perfection, I LOVE the way the tofu is cooked. I am so picky about tofu, this is perfectly fried and sized, crispy on the outside and not dry on the inside. AMAZING. I LOVE LOVE LOVE vinegar chili and am soooooooo happy these came with the dish on the side, definitely ordering extra next time! The chicken wings are SO crispy and flavorful. Holy cow. Thai iced tea not too sweet or too milky, literally perfect. Compliments to the chef!!! I've tried every Thai place and had given up on finding anything that is worth ordering. I am SO glad I took a shot. I can finally order Thai weekly again :') ORDER FROM HERE YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!!! I can't wait to try everything on the menu. You can tell the chef cares about every dish that's prepared, high quality and not just thrown together. So happy!!!“

“I always get the grilled beef cause no one has "GRILLED" beef pho that I've seen. it is really good. Only thing different this time is the meat was a tougher than it has been before. Hopefully, it is only this time cause it is usually tender.“

“First Timer to a Ramen restaurant and as one should asked about the menu and customer favorites. Service was very helpful, very busy and staff were pleasant. I chose customer favorite and enjoyed it with warm sake. Entree was sufficient but many other tables had starters. I believe I would return to try another dish. 5pm is before the rush, we sat at 6pm and inside sitting was packed.“

“I always come here for my fried eggroll fix. Their diced steak plate is so delicious, and the sauce on it is very rich and umami. I usually get a small broth on the side when I don't feel like eating a whole bowl of pho. Service is rather quick and has a casual ambiance with outdoor seating. It does get pretty busy on colder nights so prepare to wait.“

“It was so busy here on a weekend, I'd recommend coming right when they open or have someone waitlist at the front ahead of time. We waited nearly 45 minutes after waitlisting, standing outside in the cold the whole time. I can see why the restaurant is so popular, but in the future I won't wait there longer than 15 minutes because there are plenty of other great places to eat at without having to wait so long. The first thing on the menu that caught my eye was that they had BOGOhalf-off drinks. Cambo Khrack Iced Coffee and Jasmine with Sea Salt Cream were good but super strong and sweet (gave me the jitters). They're also huge, so they lasted me a long time, especially after diluting the iced coffee with more milk and ice. Moving on to the food: house special rice porridge and noodles with pork bone soup gave us a nice sense of comfort that was perfect for a chilly day. The combination stir fry noodles weren't all the great, though, despite it being described as a favorite among customers. I preferred the umami flavors and different textures from the porridge and other noodles. Lastly, the crispy fried banana dessert was delicious! We ate these up real fast, but I felt that it was too expensive for what seemed like two halves of a banana battered and deep-fried. Staff were friendly and tried to be as accommodating as possible, which we appreciated. We sat outside, and they started up one of those portable heaters for us when it got windy and overcast. They seemed very young (college-aged) but knowledgeable about RiceString's offerings.“

“Jounetsu Ramen offers a visually appealing dining experience, especially with the design that allows you to look out at the street from the tables. This is a nice touch, though the parking situation does diminish its charm slightly, especially since you can only park in front for a few minutes. The tonkotsu ramen was tasty, but it would have been even better with an extra slice of pork to enhance the richness of the dish. The staff at Jounetsu Ramen were very nice and attentive, which helped make the dining experience more enjoyable despite the parking inconvenience. Overall, it's a good spot for ramen, provided you can manage the parking challenges.“

“Such a great place to go and eat for comfort Japanese foods! Fukagawa has a big menu with so many items to choose from but I went with the special fish combo with salmon and cold soba. Along with the salmon and cold soba, it came with 4 pieces of Cali roll, a salad, miso soup and bowl of rice. Portion size was decent and they all tasted so good! Service was great and the servers were super nice! We also ordered the recommended mochi dessert. It was good but nothing special. I don't think we would order it again. I would love to come back and try other foods on their menu!“

“First time found it through yelp I'm trying to go to more small businesses and find places that can accommodate me. I got the orange chicken because it didn't have soy and the person I was with got the Mongolian beef with noodles. I ordered on the phone the person was very sweet and knowledgeable and very considerate about my allergies. Everything arrived very sealed tight in plastic accept for my orange chicken and it had a cool opener the radish it looked like it was seasoned with ginger. It came with a side of rice. I felt I didn't really need the rice because the orange chicken was so flavorful. I like the idea of Korean Chinese fusion! Definitely will be coming back here.“

“Came on a weekday late afternoon around 6pm and was seated right away. My husband and I had the duck noodle soup and the combo rice with duck and char siu. Meat quality is pretty good and not too fatty. Broth for the noodle soup was really good- it didn't taste too artificial with msg and reminded me of noodle soups in Hong Kong. Portions are fairly good but the price was a little higher than we were expecting. I was hoping to see a veggie dish for less than $15. Overall we had a nice meal and are interested in coming back for the lunch/dim sum specials.“
