the BEST restaurant for Ethiopian food in all of LA County, no contest. my friend and I drive from Pasadena to Covina just for this spot! If you love unique foods and dining experiences, we highly recommend GS Cafe and Ethiopian Cuisine. We had the beef and veggie platter. In retrospect, this was a lot of food for just the two of us, but we were far from disappointed and left extremely satisfied. The Tej (honey wine) is also a must have drink that pairs nicely with the savory flavors of beef key wot. The staff also deserve a shout-out for being prompt and attentive while managing a busy environment. 10/10.

The hours of operation is iffy. We came on a Friday and they opened at 5:30pm. The food was amazing as usual. My friend and I were starving so we got the $35 combo which we did not finish. My least favorite on the combo is probably the beef.
