Both of us split a bowl and mushrooms tacos on gluten free tortillas. They splits -plated our food so that was really nice that we did not have to.The Tacos had amazing flavors, we asked to add pickled onions to additional tang. It was great.The bowl with tofu and brown rice, while good could use a little bit more flavoring. We got the dressing on the side that added some depth, but I feel something else can be added to the bowl to up the umami flavors.Overall a good choice. Pricing was a bit on th higher side , unfortunately, in-line with most places these days.Vegetarian options: Very customizable options.“

“Service is very good and fast. In my opinion, Zoupa Tuscana is a perfect soup with breadsticks because they are not too heavy. Breadsticks are hot and tasty. The Seafood Alfredo is very good here. Patience was key and the bar and wait staff are ? Champs for working so hard on a Sunday St PADDY'S day. Beer and alcohol service for that day was also available outside on the patio. Drink order came around fast and surprisingly the food was just as fast too. I highly recommend this place for the fish and chips. Great batter, comes out crisp and light, good tarter sauce and their coleslaw is just the way I like it. Better yet they have one of my favorite Irish Cream Ales on hand Killkenny. Great Red Ale which is always on tap here throughout the year...Definitely coming back. My wife had ordered the same food dish and big thumbs up from her too...she doesn't drink alcohol so she ordered a Shirley Temple to which they served in a large beer ? mug which made her happy too. Would absolutely recommend this place as there is a great bar and restaurant atmosphere and setting in this quaint downtown setting of La Verne. A shout out to manager Anthony who was serving beer on the pation and showing great hospitality to everyone outside.Parking: Small downtown area next to college so parking is a little competitive depending on time of year and time of day and which day of the week. If I didn't read deeper into the reviews, I would've been walking through the mall aimlessly trying to find it. Walking into the restaurant, it was packed to the gills, which you can expect for a Friday night. The hostess informed me for quick service to order by the takeout area. The gentleman who took my order was kind and quick to assist me. Since there was going to be a wait, he offered me water, and I accepted. I ordered the Chicken Katsu bowl, which is delicious. It has all the ingredients that are mentioned. I am not one for condiments, but the dressing was pretty good. Whomever created this should definitely update and mention that to enjoy the food you'll have to enter a more than likely packed restaurant to enjoy. “This is my FAVORITE place for pizza. I've yet to find a pizza place that uses that really gooey cheese that can stretch a mile, give you those SOLID 3rd degree burns on the roof of your mouth because you were too much of a fatty to wait for it to cool down a little, and have the absolutely perfect airy, bubbly crust! I drive from San Fernando to get pizza here. I happily brave the 210 parking lot to come get my pizza fix! The staff is super nice and welcoming. I take my pizzas to go only because recently, the inside has a really heavy natural gas smell that is impossible to ignore. I've convinced myself that it's one of the ingredients that makes the pizza so good! Lol! Aside from that, the food here is great!“

Getting here without a car from OC can be done but is expensive and time consuming. But that’s my sole reason for not planning on returning.“

“Consistently great choose-your-own-pizza at Blaze in Azuza.I just love the concept of Blaze Pizza, where for the same price, you can choose as many toppings as you want, and have the pizza made while you wait. It's like it was made for me...but always had the sinking feeling that they couldn't make money doing it and would close soon after. Luckily for me, Blaze is still going strong many years after its founding. I try to give it as much business as possible.We came around lunch time, and there was no wait. You get into a Subway/Chipotle like assembly line and walk with the pizza artist as you pick your ingredients. Once complete, you pay, and then find a seat. The pizza is put into a 600+ degree oven which cooks it really fast..and the pizza is ready for you to eat in under 10 minutes. Once then, you self-bus....and they do a nice job of having to-go containers handy. The pizzas are easily enough to satisfy one really hungry person, or two to share.My wife ordered the 2-top pizza ($9.95) with bacon and pepperoni (they were out of the grilled chicken). I got a build-your-own ($12.25) and put a lot: fresh mozza balls, red onion, fresh mushrooms, pepperoni, cherry tomatoes, artichoke leaves, green pepper, pineapple, basil. My recommendation is ALWAYS get the fresh mozzarella balls (along with the shredded low moisture mozza)...it provides the creaminess that doesn't exist in most other fast food pizzas.This location had a great selection of tap beer, for a reasonable price of $6 and it went great with the pizza. I chose Fat Tire, but they ran out mid-pour, so got a Corona on top of that for no additional charge. Ice cold on a hot day, couldn't ask for more than that.“
