You have to understand what "Thai Power" is really all about and yes, I realize, it is a bit confusing. Thai Power is owned by a Thai lady. The exterior is Thai. It nominally serves Thai food (IMO the Tom Yum is the best Thai dish on the menu). Yes, the prices on the menu are outdated. Inside, however, it is a Thai owned establishment with a primarily Filipino clientele. They don't call Daly City "Little Manila" for nuthin'. Counterintuitively some of the Filipino dishes they serve are very good. Adobong Kambing (Spanish style Goat Stew) is delicious IF you like goat. As with Lamb it isn't everybody's cup of tea. Lots of Black Pepper, Bay Leaf, and Dark Soy. Mixed Pancit (Bihon, Canton, Shrimp, Chicken, Fish Balls, Lemon Wedges etc.) can also be very tasty. Not for the faint of heart, but a dish I dearly love, is the Crispy Pata a deep fried whole pig's foot. Crispy, greasy, fatty DELICIOUS! It comes with a soy, vinegar, and chopped onion dipping sauce to cut through the fat. Do not order this dish to go. Deep Fried Pig's Foot does not travel well, it must be eaten fresh out of the fryer. Thai Power is, first and foremost, a Filipino FOB karaoke spot although all are certainly welcome to partake. You have to "get it". It makes me feel like I'm back in Asia. These types of joints are all over the place in Southeast Asia. In Thailand, in the Philippines, wherever. Asia loves karaoke bars, working class Filipinos in particular love to sing and dance. Remember the line from The Beatles' song A Little Help From My Friends "what would you do if I sang out of tune, would you stand up and walk out on me?". Remember those words and you just might appreciate Thai Power for the simple, humble, unpretentious cultural mashup that it is.

Spent over an hour waiting for the food with no communication from anyone. It was NOT worth it. The restaurant was empty too. I had to ask the cashier for an update. I ordered a salad, spicy eggplant and a basic beef dish and it was $40! When I ordered the salad I asked the cashier if it was vegetarian and she said yes yet it had shrimp!! Never ever would I come back here. Also there was some random ladies singing karaoke and then after 40 minutes I find out they're the cooks! So unprofessional. Wish I knew that before I ordered! Don't go here!! Overpriced, bad service and super wack!

very expensive and not very good customer service. There were no customers dining in and my wife and I still had to wait 30 min for our food. A tofu pad thai cost the same as a shrimp. One bottle of Corona cost 6.00. Save your money and go to a better Thai Dine in.

I only bought 1 beer, and I was charge. I have a friend that is regular there and always been buying me drinks. "But this time the owner charge me $22!???" That's gonna be my last time going there the owner can have that $22 maybe she needed that bad. Anyone that goes there Just be careful if u get too drunk she'll charge you extra...!

The food is SUPER good and worth the wait! Only one woman is making everything in the back, so it will take some time. The yellow curry is the best I ever had and the lumpia is delicious.

I absolutely loved the Tom yum soup here! I would say top 3 and I've tried from A LOT of places.

I can't believe I made the mistake of not looking at reviews first before ordering again...Ordered through Doordash and the food arrived within 30 mins. So nothing wrong there. Food should be hot and fresh right?Several things wrong with the food quality. First off, I ordered 1/2 fried chicken over rice and they forgot the rice. How do they forget the rice?? Unless it was supposed to be just the chicken and they're falsely advertising on their menu???Next, the chicken meat was partially cold. Always a bad sign. It also tasted very dry, not juicy at all. Almost like it was reheated meat. Did they use Chef Mike here? It was garnished nicely and the sauces were fine... but the meat was just bad and overall tasted low quality.I also ordered the papaya salad and it was alright, although it came wrapped in another bag to hold more of the sauce in from leaking, which it did and so the container was drenched in sauce at arrival. Is that normal when ordering papaya salad?? The sauce is expected to heavily leak out of a sealed container?? The "dried shrimp" in the salad literally tasted like hard rubber. I could not actually bite through any of them because they were rock hard. I was honestly just confused at that point. Other reviews mention this is a karaoke bar? I guess I then shouldn't expect much regarding food quality, but damn ya'll. This was my first time ordering from here so there could always be the off chance the chef of my order was having a bad day or something, (These are tough times and I do feel bad writing a bad review for this place) but too much went wrong here for me to not write this. Be weary if any of you wanna chance this.

I celebrated my birthday today in this delicious restaurant. I am glad to say that we enjoyed a outstanding evening and the venue was undoubtedly the reason for that successful gathering. The stuff cooperated in a splendid manner, the meals were yummy and my guests were extremely joyful. We shall no dout come back again for more events. Thank you very much.

Give this place a shot. I live in the neighborhood and am always on the search takeout nearby, which is challenging. I've been walking past this restaurant during SIP and was pleasantly surprised today. We ordered the fried chicken, pad Thai, papaya salad and Thai iced tea. All the items were very tasty and would order them again. They were full of flavor, colorful garnishes. The menu seems updated and looks like their team made some great adds.
