“Deece place, 14.99/lbs for Malatang is ok. Not too much selection as other places but enough for a quick and cheap meal. As long as you don't go over board with ingredients you'll have a similar experience. Do the Google review for a free drink too!”
“Fantastic food,, clean place and good service! 100%???
I highly recommend this restaurant.
Burma Silver Star Restaurant
Excellent!
?????”
“It my cousin’s favorite restaurant, so after services we enjoyed a great meal.”

“Nice Thai spin on brunch spot with variations on classics such as crispy pork belly benedicts, Thai chicken wings, tom yum congee, etc.
I've only visited for brunch, so I can't comment on the dinner menu, but the food is pretty good. Prices are high, but that's the usual in 2025.
The only thing bad I have to say was their roast pork belly was very dry - it might have been an off day.”

“We had an amazing dining experience! The food was fantastic, and the host was incredibly friendly and helpful. We followed his recommendations and ordered the chef’s choice bowl, sushi tacos, salad, and toro—and he was absolutely right. Everything was so delicious, I nearly swallowed my tongue! I think my favorite was the sushi tacos—they were out of this world. Highly recommend!”
“I've been to In N Out several times as a visitor their food is amazing each time way better than another burger restaurant with a red and yellow logo, the service is always good and acceptable for the amount of people in the store never have I waited more than 5 minutes for food and the prices are unbeatable especially for the west coast. I highly recommend the Daly City In N Out.”
“Tacos/burritos are excellent and flavorful, love that they use bigger tortillas for tacos, loved when they do/add the pineapple keeps me comin back, 1 of my go to spot for lunch and dinner, seriously can't go wrong with anythin here tho, 10/10 i will definitely be back, everything is super delicious here😋😋💯🙌👏 and I've had mexican everywhere in the bay area”
“Drip and Melt - Cafe Deli is a hidden gem! The food is absolutely delicious, with a variety of fresh and flavorful options that cater to all tastes. Their coffee is top-notch—rich, smooth, and brewed to perfection. The ambiance is cozy and inviting, making it the perfect spot to relax or catch up with friends.
The staff is friendly and attentive, ensuring a pleasant experience from start to finish. Whether you’re grabbing a quick bite or enjoying a leisurely meal, Drip and Melt never disappoints. Highly recommended for anyone looking for great food and a warm, welcoming atmosphere”
“Being Burmese, I can attest this is an AUTHENTIC Burmese restaurant which surprisingly is rare in the bay. We had the ginger salad, pork curry, and the saucy spicy chicken with jasmine rice. The saucy spicy chicken is a standout dish that is a traditional Burmese-Chinese style dish that I haven’t seen in any other Burmese restaurant here. It’s actually not spicy and has the perfect balance of sweetness and tartness and brought me back to Chinese restaurants in Rangoon. Their pork curry, which is a quintessential Burmese dish also passed my taste test. The lady that cooks here is Burmese and very nice and she told me proudly she makes everything from scratch. I’ll definitely be coming back here!”
“Laing is delish, torta, beef afritada is good. Pansit bihon a little soggy. I’ll rate Via Mare 4 out 5 stars. Will definitely recommend your place and will comeback to try other dishes. Very polite staff I may add. Keep it up👍🤞”
“This place is a little pricey for what you get. However, it is great to eat a meal here and then walk next door to catch a movie. The three item bento box is pricey, but it will fill you up. I would go to other Japanese restaurants if I am not watching a movie. I have attached pictures of the menu.”
Outdoor Dining
“Parking: free parking, but very busy over the weekend.
I have seen many locations across the bay area.
Food: Most of the foods are grilled or fried. All of them are tasty and fresh. Many fish choices, sauces, and sites to choose from. My favorite sauces are garlic butter and Cajun. The fish and chips are very good with tartar sauce. The grilled sea bass fish are very flavorful and would recommend having sauce on the side.
Price: very reasonable price for portions of food.”
“The location of this resto might be off for those who are not local but its been there for a while.
The inside of the restaurant is like Encanto the Disney come to life. A very Mexican vibe.
The food is ok and the unlimited chips and salsa is always a good thing.
The frozen Margarita though is like a smoothie that made me really full.
Price is reasonable and the resto has been a staple so you can't go wrong.”
“First time here, as I am visiting coming from the Fresno area. This place was very courteous and the service was great! I ordered the Beefteka Pita sandwhich combo and the cashier brought it to our table Hot & Ready. The fries were nice and crispy, the beef in the pita was cooked well and the veggies were nice and fresh! The Dragonfruit tea next to the soda dispenser was also very tasty; not too sweet but not dull either. I highly recommend giving this spot a try. Prices are affordable and they have a lot to choose from, like Gyros, Salads, Bowls and even some Desserts.
Vegetarian options: Salad options and they have a Veggie Pita sandwich option as well.
Parking: Parking nearby because it is connected to other big stores like Trader Joe’s.
Kid-friendliness: Low sitting chairs and a friendly environment.
Wheelchair accessibility: They have double open doors and a ramp for ease of access.”
“The service was great (my wife does all the speaking but the waiter did speak some English). The ma (numbing) broth was very unique and was our favorite over the spicy that we usually trend towards. It has exceptional flavor, a nice floral taste, and that numbness that was advertised.
The meat selection is fun and has what you would expect from hot pot. The skewers were the highlight, I loved that the vegetables bring the stock along so that when you bite in, it tastes like the soup and keeps the meat moist!
The dessert options had a fried mochi with soy sauce glaze and fried mantou that I would've been happy just snacking on without any other food. The place feels like home and doesn't feel very rushed on a calm Sunday evening. It was a nice way to unwind after a busy Sunday.”

“I come here time to time and it’s usually packed because it’s a local favorite. The food and service is great here, you will definitely find something you like on the menu and leave satisfied. Definitely will be back!
Vegetarian options: Non-meat options available
Parking: Parking throughout the area
Wheelchair accessibility: Large front door for easy wheelchair access”
“I have finally gave this place a visit after driving past it many times. Upon arrival, I was lucky to get parking upfront, was greeted by their friendly staff and seated immediately. Their menu is simple and cocnsists of many different noodle soups to choose from. The interior is modern and looks like they have just been renovated. The wait for the food was not too bad, either way it does not bother me since I’m a very patient person. Lastly I would recommend this place for soup lovers or anyone looking to try something new. I would be back to try out other items they have to offer.”
“Dropped by this place with family before grocery shopping in the same plaza. Parking was a mess on a Sunday at lunch time, so keep that in mind. The place wasn't busy so we sat right down and were promptly served.
I got the laksa, the rest of the family got pho. It's not quite the mindblowing laksa you could get in SE Asia, but for Daly City it was pretty good. The quest for a good bowl of laksa continues.
I liked how the restaurant has an additional sink outside the restroom, makes washing hands way more convenient. I wish they had fried tofu on the menu.
Pay cash to avoid the card premium.”
“Delicious!! Also a good place to eat casually and play pool. My friend and I were visiting the area from Seattle and this was our first the trying Salvadoran food. The food was great, I would get the Indian hen soup as comfort food if I lived nearby. The owners were also really nice, we ended up staying to play pool and they let us finish even though they were closing :) definitely worth going!”
“I have never written a public review for a restaurant before but the ramen here is absolutely incredible. Much better than Japan town in SF. I only wish more of this store is around. Parking is better than Japan town, flavor is incredible. Highly recommend!!”
“I can’t even describe this place! The food is so good and delicious. It was so fresh and clean at the restaurant and I was very pleased with our food!”
“I celebrated my birthday today in this delicious restaurant. I am glad to say that we enjoyed a outstanding evening and the venue was undoubtedly the reason for that successful gathering. The stuff cooperated in a splendid manner, the meals were yummy and my guests were extremely joyful. We shall no dout come back again for more events. Thank you very much.”

“Vegetarian options: They have vegetarian options but that's not my first choice.
Dietary restrictions: If you have dietary restrictions, then maybe you need to learn to moderate your eating habits.
Parking: The parking is free for customers but there's also street parking but it may be metered.
Kid-friendliness: If just a simple restaurant, no games for the little kids.
Wheelchair accessibility: easy access for wheelchairs”
“Had the beef and broccoli with rice for lunch. It was perfect portions and sooo good. Tasted so fresh and the meat was tender and not hella chewy like at other places.”
“Been here a couple times, pretty good for what it is and one of the only few korean restaurants in the area. Sometimes it can get really packed so I recommend planning accordingly since parking is not the best in the area. Service and food is great, definitely will be back!
Vegetarian options: Non-meat options available
Parking: Parking throughout the area
Wheelchair accessibility: Double doors for easy wheelchair access”
Takeout Restaurants
“I've eaten here numerous times over the past few years, and I finally need to ✍️ a review. Universal Bakery is awesome. They consistently deliver the goods. Employees are welcoming and courteous, food is always tasty. I've ordered a variety of items. Yet, my favorite is the pan con todo with chicken.”
“The chicken is ok. A bit too spicy for me. I am a whimp and can’t handle anything spicy. Their waffle was not the type of waffle that I am used to. It’s their batter. (We had red velvet waffle) It’s not like traditional waffle. Next time I will try their traditional waffle with chicken.”
“As a Korean who grew up eating jjajangmyeon every week, this place is most authentic if you are craving jjajangmyoen or jjampong. Jjajangmyeon was not overly sweet, did taste just like the ones in Korea .
We also tried sweet and sour chicken ( 양념 통닭) and it was so amazing !!
I highly highly recommend this place for authentic Korean foods and if you want to bring back the nostalgic memories ..”

“Not many places are like this one, one of a kind. 10/10. My mother who is a very picky eater had and amazing time here. She loved the food and the service. The waiter was very nice and polite , he told us about the rich history this restaurant has. I was just blown away on how good the food was, because it seem like a small place and maybe it wouldn't live up to the hype my friends told me about. Thank you so much for a good experience. 100% would recommendGuys just go try it!!!”

“Wonderful texture, and great value for money with too good to go. I got the ube, churro and funnel flavors along with a iced coffee.
Ube: No ube flavor, just the color but still nice
Churro: The best of them all
Funnel cake: A little bitter weirdly
Iced coffee: Way too sweet but refreshing”
“For dinner, the foods were ok. Service was mediocre at best. Also, parking (street only) can be horrible during weekends and holidays.”
“Good food!!! Tucked in a corner at Westlake Daly City but dont let the location fool you. This place is always packed with people. Come hungry if you plan to go!!!”
“Went here for a light lunch and went with a salad from here. They had a nice selection of greens and toppings to add to to your salad. Instead of pre-made salad, they have a build-your-own station where you can customize the salad to your liking (which I prefer). Definitely satisfied with my salad. Quality and freshness guaranteed. ??”

“Was in here early after getting a smog check done on my wife's car. Very cool little cafe that also shares the other half with a rotisserie chicken cafeterias '50s style place. Very neat inside. My iced latte and bagel with cream cheese came up super fast and both were delicious. Can't wait to get back so I can try more of their unique items and also come back for dinner at the chicken side.”

“I'm fortunate to live in a region of the Bay Area where there are a lot of Filipino restaurants and each of them do so much to sustain the cultural significance of the Philippine population of the area.
For years in having this restaurant as part of my rotation of Filipino cuisine, one of their superpowers is their consistency for delivering good tasting food. Time and time again, I find their offerings to be as good or better than their competitors.
Their service is great and you can count on being warmly greeted by the staff. I also feel that their portions are more generous than their counterparts. So if it's good food you're after, I highly recommend them.
And as is typical of a lot of Filipino joints, decor, atmosphere and aesthetics aren't their thing. As you'll see in the accompanying pictures, this place is about as basic, utilitarian and modest as a place can be, as stripped down as an apartment of newlyweds. But then again, you don't come here for the furniture and art on the walls did you? If you did, you'd be richly disappointed.”

“I had a great conversation with the young girl that was working today! She was the sweetest! My husband, daughter & I loved the wet burrito & California burrito! Portions are great for the price & super delicious! Will be coming back again! Our new fav taqueria!!
Vegetarian options: You can just tell them not to add meat. I don’t eat meat myself.
Parking: There’s a free parking lot right across the street”

“So delicious!!!!!! I stumbled upon Kunugi Noodle at the Clement St Farmer's Market. I had the Sweet Fried Tofu Udon and it was so good––I even had a total stranger ask me while I was eating where I got my noodles because I looked so happy eating them lmao. If you're a fan of classic udon noodles stop by here!”

“Loacated in a mini plaza so parking is not an issue. I placed a pick-up order and was greeted with the most friendly staff. People were laughing and it felt homey. I would definitely return, especially for those late night cravings.
Birria Pizza ($28.95 for medium) - I asked for cilantro on the side because half of us don't like it. It was still a hit with everyone. Fresh ingredients and delicious homemade crust. Only available Thursday to Sunday.
Garlic Bread ($7.95) - Small pieces but garlicy. It was so crunchy that everyone turned around when I took a bite.
Caesar Salad ($11.95) - Nothing special. Chicken was dry.”
“We had a great experience working with Yana at My Baking Creations! Yana was responsive, creative and an amazing cake artist/baker. From start to end of the process, Yana was communicative and helpful to bring our design idea into fruition. Delivery was seamless and on-time as well. The cake had beautiful fondant work and the chocolate cake tasted divine and decadent. Looking forward to going to Yana again for future birthday cakes!”
“I passed by here many times and never knew if it was open because the curtains block the interior view. Today I finally have this place a shot on a hungry mindset. It’s like a hole in the wall that serve authentic Chinese dishes at great prices. Also the service was great and the food was very delicious. I definitely will be back to try out other dishes.

“I can't rave enough about 85 Degrees Bakery! From the moment you step inside, you're greeted with the delightful aroma of freshly baked pastries and breads. The selection is incredible, offering a wide variety of sweet and savory options that cater to every taste.
The bread here is soft, fluffy, and always fresh. My personal favorites are the classic milk bread and the tantalizing taro buns. Their cakes and desserts are equally impressive, with the perfect balance of sweetness and flavor. The mango cream cake and the chocolate mousse cake are absolute must-tries!
On my last visit, I tried their caramel latte, and it was perfection in a cup. The rich, smooth coffee paired with the sweet, buttery caramel was a match made in heaven. It’s the perfect complement to their delicious pastries.
The staff is always friendly and efficient, ensuring a pleasant shopping experience every time. The quality of the baked goods at 85 Degrees is consistently top-notch, making it my go-to bakery. If you're looking for delicious, high-quality pastries, bread, and coffee, look no further than 85 Degrees Bakery. Five stars all the way!”
“Hofbrau style large sandwiches cut fresh from the meat out of the oven are possibly as good as sandwiches get. I like the roast beef and turkey but they also have pastrami, rotisserie chicken, ham, pork ribs and salads. Services friendly, food is excellent. Definitely five stars.”
“I ordered the short ribs plate lunch. It was a good amount of food for the price. Great for that meat and carbs "stick to your ribs" kind of meal. The food came out after a few minutes. It was fresh and hot. The service was friendly but not overly so. They put the food in takeaway containers and a bag as the default, which I always think is a bit wasteful, but in this case it was too much food for one meal and I had to take some home anyways. All in all they do the basic Hawaiian plate lunch well and I would back. Next time I'd try the seafood combo or family meal when I am with someone.”
“This is the only place that offers fish or shrimp burrito. They also have the normal meats burritos which is very good however my favorite is the fish burrito. I know? Fish burrito. They have the fish burrito or shrimp which is very unusual. They not only have the fish burrito, they give you a lot. It’s enough to cover the entire burrito and not over cooked at all. In terms of meat, my husband’s favorite is the carne asada(beef) burrito or pork Al pastor( bbq pork). He also tried the chicken and he said it was a little bit too dry for him the meat.”
“Had this build your own pasta...
Chicken alfredo with Pineapple and bacon.
It turned out good to my taste. My friends love it. Will surely order again soon. 😋”
“What a fabulous time! Very well done!! Fresh seafood, meats, congee, dessert!!”

“Well, it’s been years since I’ve eaten here last and it does have some mixed reviews. But we were seated quickly and menus came immediately as did water as requested. The waiter took our order very soon after our menu and the food came in fast in less than five minutes!! I had #31 beef stew with wide noodles and my partner ordered #55 b which was bbq pork with vermicelli and an imperial roll. They were both delicious and flavorful. My small bowl still had a lot of ingredients and the broth was excellent!! Can’t ask for much more than what!! We’ll be back for sure to try other dishes!”

“They have great sushi! If that's what you're after, I highly recommend this place. We went for their ramen this last visit. Their broth is too salty. I got the miso broth. My teen got the chicken broth. Both were so salty we couldn't finish. We added chicken, but they gave us fire grilled chicken, which didn't really go with the ramen. I would go back, not skip the ramen.”
