We had dinner here a couple of days ago with my family! The food was delicious. We chose the Chicken Gyros platter and the Mix Grill meat platter, everything was fresh! I recommend the Hummus to everyone to try! It was heavenly delicious! There was also nice service and live music! I can only recommend this place to everyone! We will be back!“

“I have been to the Parthenon a couple of times for the chicken souvlaki and the octopus which are my personal favorites but it just became my favorite brunch spot! the platter that comes with everything from pancakes with Nutella to scrambled eggs and feta cheese fullfilled every craving I had for brunch.
More importantly they have mimosas! Zami recommended the grapefruit mimosa and it was delicious and refreshing. Their Greek coffee is amazing and a great way to end the meal.“

“Some restaurants serve you dinner; this one gives you a little piece of Greece to take home.
The authentic Greek flavors were wonderful, but what stayed with us most was the feeling around the table—the warmth, the thoughtful attention, and the little surprises that arrived when we least expected them. A cup of Turkish tea and baklava may seem like a small gesture, yet it made the evening feel personal, as though someone genuinely cared that we were there.
We arrived as first-time guests and left already planning our return. This is the kind of restaurant people come back to not only for the food, but for the way it makes them feel. Burlingame is truly lucky to have a Greek restaurant like this!❤“

“This place is a gem in SSF! We come here regularly about 2-3 times a month for the last 4 years because we love it so much! The ingredients are always fresh and great quality. The owner John is super friendly and hospitable as well as Yakup who regularly works there too. They also make homemade Turkish Delight that’s the best we’ve had. Please give this place a try and you will love it too!“

Even though not too busy on a friday midday the food was fresh and more than filled me up for $15.
Had a minor issue that was resolved quickly and guys were super nice.
The atmosphere at the parklet setup was good too.
Stop by for lunch and get refreshed before going back to the grind.“

“Love coming to SF! Had a moment to grab a meal and heard of Nick's! Awesome food and atmosphere! Laid-back, no issues, Love Gyros! Ever since my time overseas in Europe I try and grab a gyro a few times a year and was excited this was around the corner from me here! I like cold tea with my meal and that wasn't an option, it was a bottled and warm.“

“We wanted a quick, healthy lunch. In our group, we had a dietary issue with fatty foods and a severe gluten allergy. The Cafe Elena team were wonderful. All our meals were really good. The lunch area was quiet with ample seating. We would eat there any time we were in the area.“

“Delicious dinner, warm and comfortable atmosphere, great spot to go before a show at the Regency Ballroom! We enjoyed their special 3 course prix fixe menu (an excellent value) with add-on wine pairing, including a really lovely Turkish red with the chicken and lamb mains. Cozy seating, friendly staff. Will return! Also, the lentil soup was a standout - bright yet savory, so so good.“

“Our work just got us this pizza for lunch after a bike ride and I have to say as a square pizza lover; it was amazing. Not greasy, fresh ingredients even being delivered and amazing cheesy-crust edges. 5 stars pizza for sure. Btw the staff was able to accommodate a pizza for 35 people with very little notice. Sadly I ate it all before taking a pic!“
“Private club, but can be used by members for business entertaining, unlike most. Quiet, nicely decorated, no oafs wearing baseball caps slobbering food at the next table.Regular food/wine special events with experts. Membership dues are quite reasonable.“

“I smelled it before I got there no always looking for “the right food cooked by the right people!” I had a bowl with chicken which I could cut with a the plastic spoon 😍 with rice and lentils very flavorful too with the Israel salad all that flavor in one bowl was the best by far! My friend who’s vegan was very satisfied had a falafel bowl which she started eating as we walked down the street! She had smashed it by the time we made to the tables at Union Square. The food delicious the portions huge and the price right! On another note when we arrived they were out of rice and of course they made me some fresh very much appreciated ❤️“
