“As an alternative to Square Pie Guys, they're pretty good. Flavorwise, I prefer SPG, but SPG doesn't give you an option for a larger pizza, so that's a plus here. The wings here are better than the wings at SPG, though, and I like ordering wings with my pizza.Customer service is great. Had an issue with the delivery, and the restaurant was quick to correct the delivery driver's mistake. If you order delivery, though, do it through the DoorDash app, not through 8Mile's website. That way, if their delivery driver fu..messes up as bad as mine did, you can easily report them directly to DoorDash. Pretty sure the driver stole my food...“

“I'm a fan of this place. It's my go to lunch spot when I forget to pack a lunch and need something quick and light. It's never very busy, which is surprising because it's tasty and affordable. The staff is also always really nice. In the past I've gotten the gyro wrap with a side salad. It's been enough for two meals. This time I got just the gyro meat with two side salads. I love their spinach and carrots (if you're a fan of cooked spinach, try this! If you don't like spinach don't get this). It's nice to have some cooked vegetables in the mix. I also got the Greek salad which was what I expected. No disappointing mushy tomatoes. So I can't complain. I appreciate the different side salad options and how you can mix and match. Next time I'll try the artichoke salad and the beet salad.“

Ala Med is a Turkish restaurant but given the broader mediterranean influence, I think people will find a lot of familiar items here.Our table ordered various items:Istanbul trio: Both hummus and haydari were good but I loved the muhammara - this version gave equal importance to both the walnuts and the red peppers and was well balanced with a slight kick from some chili. Eggplant salad: so good, well seasoned, and refreshingManti: meat dumpling with yogurt and tomato sauce- everyone loved itImam fainted: vegetarian eggplant dish - flavorful, easy to eatButcher Kofte: I really liked the seasoning of the meat but didn't love the texture as the meat seemed to be really finely ground but that is a personal preference.
