“We were gifted our first ever Bake Sum box. After trying just one bite of a Yuzu meringue bun I knew I needed more. Ordered our second BSB last week and shared amongst the roomies, huge hit. Well baked, not too sweet, great flavor combinations. 10/10 would recommend the Bake Sum box. If you can’t grab a box, you can grab al a cart day of pick ups just to tide you over until you can get a box 😋“

“I went here with a friend yesterday and ordered the combo plate with brisket; cornbread and yams for my 2 sides. My friend had the chicken sandwich which was so juicy she said she would need a shower after she got home.🤣 she had the lemon cheesecake and I had the plain. They both were delicious! “AMAZING. Loved the service and coffee. I ordered the Sampaguita latte with whole milk and it was the perfect blend of not too sweet, not too bitter, and balanced coffee-milk ratio. I find a lot of lattes to be too light on the espresso but they have nailed it. My latte was fragrant and bright with almost chocolatey notes after the initial floral scent.“

“Went in and got the Italian, bag of chips and a can soda with 10% tip came out to $22.50+-
All out of the soft rolls. Had the Dutch crunch and I asked for it to be toasted which they forgot to do. Bread was cold dense and chewy. The rest was on point. No napkins in the bag though. So excellent drippy sandwich needs napkins. Plus no in place tables to sit at? That's why the less stars. I will try again though but I guess I will be clearer? Give them a try. Also forgot to take a photo but my sandwich tracked with the other photos.“

“I saw the ratings and didn't know what to expect. Brought my family here to avoid the Berkely Parents' Weekend crowds. I was so pleasantly surprised the quality of the food and service. The roti is so fresh - perfectly crispy and chewy. The spices on the food and house coconut dipping sauce offered so much flavor - we were all blown away. Our kids loved the Thai Tea. Accomodates vegan taste buds and all other dietary preferences.“

OMG, Unbelievable sandwiches, smoked meats, homemade pickles, peppers🫑 and memorable pulled pork, etc. I hang out for a few minutes while Jerry makes my Cuban sandwich, and he has me try their smoked bacon, homemade meatballs, and more. “How the hell is a broccoli taco one of the best, if not the best vegan taco in the area? I can't say enough good things about it, just perfection all around. The tostada (papa/potato) was also really delicious and filling. You can't go wrong with any of the vegan options here. Order it all and more if you can.“

“I thought this would be a dime a dozen dive bar type spot, but thankfully I was wrong. It was pretty poppin for a Monday evening, but not enough to where it was overwhelming. The trees are fantastic, and the cocktails were actually good! We even got a nifty NA cocktail as a nightcap. I'll be coming back next time I'm in the area.“

The best jianbing I've had outside of China. Crispy and not too salty. My wife said it's authentic Tianjin style.

The soy milk was amazing! Very smooth and slightly sweet even though it wasn't sweetened. No burnt taste.

“I love this brewery! It is so refreshing to go somewhere that doesn't just have 20 IPAs. The vibes are chill but fun, the upstairs with its games is great, and the owner is super nice and accommodating. He was passing out free samples of their new beer. There are food trucks on the weekend as well as regular events.

Having been to almost all of the breweries in the Bay, I'd rate the overall quality S tier. Most of the competition is boring and frankly not great. This place and Tenma have been the most impressive of the East Bay establishments I've tried.

If you're in the area and looking for a place to hang out for a little bit and grab a beer or two you can't go wrong. Highly recommended!“

“Nach drei Wochen „Roadtrip“ durch die USA haben wir uns gefreut dass in der Nähe unseres jetzigen Hotels dieses Restaurant/dieser Biergarten ist. Gut zubereitetes, ehrliches Essen. Ich bin selber leidenschaftlicher Hobbykoch in Deutschland und muss sagen: gut, wirklich gut. Das Sauerkraut könnte ein wenig „knackiger“ sein, aber es war trotzdem lecker. “I have been meaning to try this place for a while and it did not disappoint. Located in a beautiful white store front the food is just as good as the whole aesthetic of the restaurant.

I got Khao soi curry and a seafood noodle dish. It was fast delicious and fresh.

The service also was incredible. Totally mom and pop vibe where everyone hustles, is friendly and delivers just a great experience.

(Fish and chips, salad, 2 chowders, some raw and some grilled oysters. In retrospect the move might have been to order some more fries for the calories.) Came here with partner & parents and sat outside. One issue was that the music was way too loud to be able to have a conversation without yelling. After waiting a while for raw oysters checked in with waitstaff and found they’d misdelivered the order to a different table. (It was a super busy night.) I wasn’t a huge fan of the salad; it was small but pricy and could’ve used some citrus to brighten it up. Fish and chips were delicious.“

Got lucky and had the owner/chef there and gave wonderful recommendations, samples and the history behind his grandmothers famous rice and beans. Once in a lifetime experience.
