“A group of new friends in Lafayette met at Pho Benny and enjoyed an exceptional meal together! We shared many different appetizers and entrees and everything was exceptional. The service was warm and gracious. We are definitely going back sometime soon. I highly recommend Pho Benny!“
“I celebrated my birthday here with a small group of friends yesterday. 10/10 recommend for a local tasting. The tasting room was beautiful- I wish I took photos in there! After the tasting we snapped a few photos out by the vines and enjoyed a couple bottles of wine. Bob was a great host and played music while my group chatted and enjoyed the first fall-feeling day with the sun whipping in and out from behind the clouds here and there. I can't finish this review without mentioning the delicious charcuterie board that Bob prepared for us. Yum! Definitely will return for the holidays and bring the family.“
“Nice place for coffee and a breakfast pastry, especially the scones. Can't go wrong with any flavor! Patio seating is great, and the community table inside is always welcoming too. Staff is helpful and professional but pretty reserved too.“
“The food is very good. I ask for medium poached eggs, and I get them every time. It is incredibly hard nowadays to find REAL Hollandaise sauce..Egg yolks, real butter and lemon...it's here and good. I would also add the potatoes should have bell pepper and onion mixed in with them...imo...I will say this much, we were in there to sign paperwork for my daughter and her husband's very first house...we met there, specifically because it is an organic place, we had been there many times before. We were there this time to celebrate and sign papers. We were rushed out however, and it should have been noticed by the waiter that we were obviously celebrating... gift bags, mimosas, and an obvious celebratory atmosphere at our table.. pictures were being taken, and paper work everywhere... we were pushed out, the waiter was OBVIOUSLY annoyed that we had been sitting there longer than he deemed necessary, which was unfortunate. He was left, despite his obvious annoyance, a 30% tip. Other than that the food is very good and we will continue to come here. We WILL say, if we get "pushed out" again... it WILL be an issue. As an ex waitress myself, it is imperative that people understand in the service business, not everyone goes out to breakfast all the time, some of us go out to celebrate, to spend time together because we don't see each other that often..... we chose to come see you... it's important that that energy is picked up on. I understand the need to "turn" the table over, BUT when you have a table of six that's paying over $200+ for drinks, breakfast and time.... you should just back off and let us be. Read the table.“
“I ordered the Mushroom roll and as well as the vegetable gyozas and they were both amazing. It paired nicely with the green tea ? which was topped off periodically. I will definitely be coming back.Vegetarian options: Vegan sushi available“
“My review is just for the bar, since I've only ever been to the bar. The staff are friendly and very helpful. They serve food at the bar in addition to the usual bar beverages. I was pleased to see that they also had a couple great non-alcoholic beer options.“
“My mother found this place and told me it's the best Smashburger she's ever had. It didn't take me much time to see if she was right and I'll say this is the best Smashburger I've ever had.Parking: Not much parking, but worth it to park and walk over.“
“Found this place from a lady at Long Beach Airport, and was she on point! The meats are all grilled on an open wood fire grille, the flavors are amazingly delicious! The staff is super friendly and treat you as if you’ve been coming for ages. By far this is the best Mexican place in the north Bay Area for sure.. n don’t forget to try the beans(only found there)!“
“It’s in the LOCAL KITCHENS store front that has lots of small food businesses made in one micro foodhall set up.The pita and falafel and quality is still awesome, just more of a fast food counter service set up. Vegan falafel pita sandwich is awesome.Good benches to eat outside.“
“Really great spot. The outdoor seating is a little hit and miss, but that's more the fault of the location than anything else. I recommend sitting inside unless it's a very nice day.The food there is great, and the staff are very friendly.Top recommendations:- L.E.S.: this is the best pastrami I've had outside of a famed Jewish deli, and even then it is a contender. Truly a perfect sandwich that I could never get tired of enjoying.- duck banh mi: not really a banh mi, but it is a delicious sandwich with duck and pickled vegetables.- Spicy lamb burger: this thing is HOT, and in the best way. My scalp was sweating by the end , and it is delicious if you're into lamb. Would make great meatballs (hint to the menu makers hehe). They have decent wines, a good beer selection, and a nice bar with classic cocktails and great whiskey options... Particularly if you like Elijah Craig haha (their distributor must have gotten a good bonus!).Overall, if you are in the area and want a fun spot to stop by for lunch or dinner, this should be on your list of places to try. If you have gone and haven't tried the L.E.S., go back and give it a go (you're welcome ?).“
“We drive 25 min for this Philz to get a cup of coffee, eat a green chili burrito with hot sauce, then walk around downtown. The staff is always amazing and their coffee is on point. A bold, rich flavor every time. My fave is the Philtered Soul cold brew with oat milk. My husband gets the Aromatic Arabic with a splash of cream.Parking: There is a paid lot right behind Philz. We normally park on the metered main street, but can drive a little further for unmetered street parking as well. We never have to park more than a block away on the weekend.“
“So happy that Locanda Positano has restarted lunch with its full menu. We love this restaurant and although it's a drive through the Caldecott for us, we come here whenever we can for the luscious food and excellent service. One of the best Italian restaurants in the Greater East Bay!“
“Probably our favorite restaurant in Lafayette. This Peruvian restaurant isn't just great by Lafayette standards, it's just great Peruvian food period. The Pescado a lo Macho is delicious and they are quite generous with the seafood portions. Great ceviche too!“
“We really enjoy going to the Rising Loafer. We go there frequently on the weekends for the eggs Florentine and veggie omelet. They have the best hollandaise sauce, even better than I can make myself. It's a very simple place with an outdoor patio right by Trader Joe's and a very nice bookstore. The service is good and the owners are pleasant and friendly. We've had plenty of good experiences here and recommend it.“
“The pollo A la brasa is perfect and the yucca is Chrissy and delish. The bakery is amazing! So many options it's hard to choose. The green sauce is a bit different than I'm used to however good. The service is fast and friendly. I used to have to order pollo a la brasa at work in manassas to bring home for dinner. So I'm so happy to have a local place when I don't want to cook it myself.“
“I'd agree that this place pretty much is a solid 4 star. Service is number to table and almost every time hasn't really been anything over par. It's pretty much.... Regular can I take your order, ok, take a seat and wait. The food is hit and miss.Breakfast egg sandwich: 4.5/10 great amount of protein (egg) and fat (avocado) bread is bomb but like almost too crunchy painful to eat lol. But i love it. The only thing saving this Sammy was the sweet pepper chili sauce flavor they put on it otherwise it's bland as hell.Breakfast burrito... don't even know what the heck was inside... def needed to eat it with salsa.. not amazing...3/5Waffles... pretty bomb 5/5Coffee... meh.... Very burnt flavor for me 3.5/5 Hot chocolate 5/5 for my family. I'll be back. The light fixtures are very expensive high end beautiful lights... not just any string lights... they are gorgeous and provide a very beautiful ambiance for the outside where 95% of the seating is located. It's got a back yard patio vibe. Love it. Come here often and will continue.“
“This restaurant has evolved over the past two years (or so) from average to outstanding. The food, wine pairings, craft cocktails and service are all five star.I would recommend the meatball appetizer and either papardelle or gnocchi for the main course. It may be upsetting to some that the tip is built in as a service charge but I tip 20-25% anyway. Also, if that helps attract and retain the good servers that they have, great!“
“What an amazing place for a date night out! We had the Coq Au Vin and the Steak Frites. The Coq Au Vin was fork-drop FANTASTIC! Everything that Lauren recommend was spot on. Dessert was amazing too: Chocolate Terrine for my love and the lemon pudding cake for me. Great on both counts! We’ll be back again soon.“
“First time eating here and it was FIRE!!! RIBS & BRISKET WAS SOOOOO GOOOOOOD the collar greens was one of the best I've had around here corn bread and hush puppies were also good. I would eat here once a week if I lived closer. GREAT JOB! I'LL BE BACK!“
“The food is great! The co-owner, Aimee is the real reason I return. Let's face it, you can get good food many places but good service? Good service, manners & hospitality is a value prized above all. It takes us all back to a generation who understood respect & civility. Great service plus her elevated huevos rancheros, can't keep me away! See you soon, Millie's Kitchen“
“I had the polenta with prawns and crispy cauliflower. It was delicious. The crispy cauliflower was really good dipped in the garlic aioli that came with the lamb burger sliders which my sister in law thought were good. My brother got the short ribs which looked delicious and I will order it next time. My brother said they tasted great. Sadly he doesn't like to share.“
