“Really great spot. The outdoor seating is a little hit and miss, but that's more the fault of the location than anything else. I recommend sitting inside unless it's a very nice day.The food there is great, and the staff are very friendly.Top recommendations:- L.E.S.: this is the best pastrami I've had outside of a famed Jewish deli, and even then it is a contender. Truly a perfect sandwich that I could never get tired of enjoying.- duck banh mi: not really a banh mi, but it is a delicious sandwich with duck and pickled vegetables.- Spicy lamb burger: this thing is HOT, and in the best way. My scalp was sweating by the end , and it is delicious if you're into lamb. Would make great meatballs (hint to the menu makers hehe). They have decent wines, a good beer selection, and a nice bar with classic cocktails and great whiskey options... Particularly if you like Elijah Craig haha (their distributor must have gotten a good bonus!).Overall, if you are in the area and want a fun spot to stop by for lunch or dinner, this should be on your list of places to try. If you have gone and haven't tried the L.E.S., go back and give it a go (you're welcome ?).“
“Great service, clean restaurant, clean restrooms, great customer service with a smile ☺️?. Soda machine works. Nice neighborhood, with nice people, and staff.Parking: Easy in and out with a big vanKid-friendliness: Very kid friendly ??.Wheelchair accessibility: Very accessible ?.“
“We have eaten here numerous times and the falafel (my fave) is always hot and fresh and they salads and sauces in the pita are generous so its a lovely full taste. We always take a bag of pitas home to use in subsequent days. The prices seem reasonable for the quality they serve. Just watch out for the aggressive drivers in the parking lot (shared with Trader Joe etc. - wow those Lafayette folks are intense)“
“First time eating here and it was FIRE!!! RIBS & BRISKET WAS SOOOOO GOOOOOOD the collar greens was one of the best I've had around here corn bread and hush puppies were also good. I would eat here once a week if I lived closer. GREAT JOB! I'LL BE BACK!“
“Roam is underrated and it's not burning. If that wasn't a dad joke, I don't know what is. We love Roam. The burgers are consistently good and the service is flawless. My current fav is the Chalet burger; my wife gets a custom order. Burger King's famous lyrics ("hold the pickles, hold the lettuce, special orders don't upset us") were written for my wife. If you're wondering what this has to do with a Roam review, you're not alone. Anyway, back to Rome (and "Dad" returns)... I've also enjoyed the Tejano and Sunny-side (sp?) burgers. I prefer the beef version too. The Turkey burger tastes a bit "gamey," and I don't want to start visualizing my burger's ancestors. Finally, here's a shout out for those of you who need to put on pounds: thumbs up to curly or thin fries and milk shakes.“
“We were looking for Curry Up Now, didn't realize it was actually part of the Local Kitchens mini food hall, which we'd never seen before but were thrilled to find. We ended up ordering from The Melt and Sushirrito as well, and loved everything. Ordering and pickup were easy, the staff was friendly, and the whole place looked spotless. Our family of four got tikka masala paneer on rice, garlic parmesan fries, tomato soup with grilled cheese croutons, and chicken karaage with Peruvian herb sauce. There were so many great options, we'll definitely be back again soon. It's the perfect place for a group. It's sort of magical that the same little place can provide so many different types of food, all fresh and tasty. There are a few picnic tables out front in case you want to eat there. For takeout, I recommend using the Local Kitchens app to order in advance.“
