“I live in the Plaza neighborhood and it is so nice to have a quality burger joint in walking distance. They literally have any conceived burger combination you could possibly want. The people are fantastic and polite. Of course the food is always incredible.“

I still gave 5 stars, because I loved the burgers. They were perfectly made and they dont give you a hard time about asking for extra sauce!“

“I'm gonna give this a 4.8 star, I got this delivered, the packaging was secured and properly done, yet came with no straw, the fries not that crunchy or anything but that's fine, the drink was a rootbeer, was watered down some but again it's delivered, the Burger itself was absolutely delicious, meat cooked perfectly, tomatoes cut nicely, the lettuce was a bit brown but that's nothing, the bottom bun was a little soggy but that's fine (again delivered) but over all amazing I would recommend this place 100% but do go inside, just so your food doesn't get soggy or drink get watered down. :)“

“I ordered using Uber Eats.
We ordered Lemon Chicken, Chicken Katsu & Masubi and one other item. I clicked yes to include utensils and napkins and I even added in the notes please include utensils, chopsticks and napkins.
Since I am staying at a hotel these were needed. The hotel had no picnicware so my son and I walked to the store down the street to buy some. Got back to cold food that wasn’t in containers that could NOT be heated in the microwave and discovered they didn’t include soy sauce.
The Mac salad was perfect. The rice definitely needed soy sauce. The flavor of the lemon chicken was great even though it was room temp. The katsu lost its texture in the time it Took to get utensil unfortunately.
I’m not trying to be petty over utensil but it really made for an unfortunate experience.“

Order number table stands are offered when you order from the kiosk with the intent that an employee will bring you your order when it is ready. They Do Not acknowledge the table stands and just call out your order number on the receipt. Please, Either have them and deliver the food to the tables or get rid of the stands all together.“

“Amazing service and a small, clean atmosphere. The restaurant seats 18 people max, with one table seating 6, 2 tables sitting 4, and 4 single spots to sit facing the window. The patty was slightly disappointing on the “Cheezburger”, but the fries made up for it. Would definitely go again!“

My top favorite is a Fried Chicken Deluxe and The Deluxe and Fries! You must try the fries and you will get it yourself. They have delicious ice cream as well🍦! “We got it delivered through DoorDash. Unfortunately my burger was missing the cheese but it was still very good. Bun was a little thick but I think that’s the case in most places now. The fries were really crunchy and flavorful. My wife enjoyed her jr cheeseburger. Overall definitely a nice meal and I would order again.“

“Came on a Wednesday and got an enormous delicious beef brisket plate for $22. Probably the best deal I’ve seen in North Beach. The hamburgers look pretty awesome too although I have not tried one yet. My friend got a chicken pesto sandwich which was less exceptionable but not bad.

Definitely worth coming back!

One note: sitting at the back is pretty loud, sounds like there’s a club or something on the other side of the wall so it was hard to hear my friend talking, but that’s probably not an an issue if you come earlier or don’t sit in the very back.“

“The location is right next to a gas station, so it’s probably not the best spot if you’re looking to hang out with friends or have a date night. But don’t let the location fool you—the moment I pulled up, I could smell the food from the parking lot, and it smelled amazing.

The customer service was exceptional. The gentleman who helped me even gave me complimentary black tea with spices while I waited. It was piping hot and had a really good flavor. My food also came out fairly quickly.

I ordered the chicken shawarma plate, which came with seasoned chicken, rice, pita bread, hummus, and a creamy garlic sauce on the side. Everything was hot, flavorful, and well seasoned without being overdone. I was a little surprised that the chicken was shredded since I expected larger grilled pieces, but it was still delicious and had plenty of flavor.

The hummus was especially good—it honestly tasted homemade—and the creamy garlic sauce went perfectly with everything. Overall, the great service and delicious food definitely made up for the location. I’d come back for the food and hospitality.“

“Really great food and pretty quick to get into even on a Sunday afternoon. I enjoyed my sandwich and others enjoyed their meals. They were quick to get us a high chair for the baby but after that the service slowed up a bit. The food was nice and hot when it came. It was pretty loud with everybody so it made it hard to talk. “A great burger. From my first year in the bay area there was something special about Nation's Giant Burgers, scattered around the East Bay. A juicy patty, cheese, with the fixings a nice clump of lettuce, onions and tomato, thick slab of cheese and pickles. Great thick fries, and pies.. seriously the best pie I ever had was at a Nation's. Their Strawberry Tart only offered when in season, is just large strawberries, a tasty almost shortbread crust and whipped cream. The one I had in 2001, days after 9/11, the strawberries were bursting with juice, almost like a jam, the skin barely holding, and. not too sweet, not too tart... In Plant City, Florida they have amazing strawberries.. previously the best I had ever tasted, but these, from a California Farm is what they said, are always going to be the best. �Other than their Strawberry Tart, I like their Banana Split, Banana Cream, Chocolate Cream, Pecan, Blueberry... well.. all of them. Never a bad choice. How I like my burger. Cheese, no dressing, grilled onions, light lettuce. Then I get hash browns and ham on the side (sometimes one egg also) and add them to the burger. Anyway. yes. 👍 more, again.“

With that out of the way, we proceeded to enjoy a leisurely 2 hour dinner where every dish was expertly prepared and plated. The staff were attentive and checked in on us periodically.

We enjoyed the caesar salad with boquerones, the octopus and bay shrimp ceviche with leche de tigre, the duck confit and the the shoestring potatoes. We finished off the meal with a small citron tarte and some coffee.

Would recommend without reservation, but a reservation might get you seated indoors. :)“

It's simplicity done right and I come here more than I probably should, but they're a consistently delicious lunch that makes going to the office less painful.
