He had that the day before. The girls love that there was boba. I loved that there was beer on tap! I was going to say there's nothing negative to say about this place. But then I thought about it for a second. They charged us $1 for some ranch. Even though we ordered chicken wings, onion rings, garlic fries, french fries, cajun fries. Should have came with the order!“

“So delicious and definitely my favorite Chinese restaurant in the East Bay--we've been twice in three weeks. We got the cilantro beef both times, and rotated other dishes. Everything has been really good and very fresh. When we went last weekend the staff (I assume the family owners?) were sitting at a table folding dumplings and chatting. It was nice to see the handmade assemy process and it seemed like a labor of love.
It's been pretty quiet when we've been in at lunchtime on the weekends. Go try it!“

“One of the best Korean Restaurant in town. I ate with my 2 friends, and we ordered the Rose Galbi Jim. I really liked the spices and the soup of the galbi, blended really well with the mozzarella cheese. Moreover, the texture of the tteokbokki was so soft and tasty. At the same time, the portion of the Galbi was so big, we couldn’t finish it so we took some back home.
the other best part was that you could refill the banchan. Would recommend you to ask more for the tofu and kimchi, really mouthwatering. the waiter and waitress were kind and friendly, they served you fast.
we visited the restaurant quite late in the afternoon, so we didn’t need to queue since there were plenty tables. the parking area was big too.“

Update 7 years later: Consistently the best korean food time after time. Every dish is a winner and they've recently added vegetable mondoo (wontons) and a slightly new menu. Service is excellent. Try to come a little early to avoid a wait.“

“Wow. Had a great experience. Was staying at a local hotel, did my want “fat” food like fires or bread. I’m not a huge Chinese food eater, a little Panda or whatever, but this was amazing! A light crispy tempura like breading on the honey walnut chicken, the fried rice had great flavor. I can’t wait to come back.“

“This was our first time here and I placed an to go order. Walked right in and was quickly greeted and placed my order with the friendly worker. I ordered a caterpillar roll, Fortune roll, Giants roll and a Sake avocado making roll. Everything was delicious and I want to return and try so other items. Beware parking is extremely difficult to find when I arrived around six pm.“

“Tigon is excellent, above par, a hidden gem on San Pablo. I've probably been here 5-6 times now with my fiance. She gets the same thing every time: Catfish Sweet and Sour Soup and she swears it gets better every single time. On the other hand, I try something new every time because each dish I've had has been better than the last. Catfish Claypot, Pho, and Papaya Salad are all big hitters.“

Aki-San will tell you when you’re eating something wrong, but it’s not mean-spirited. You should definitely ask him about his life and his journey to becoming a sushi chef. The sushi is the best you will ever have, even better than sushi I had when I visited Japan. It may be very expensive, but if you have the means it is extremely worth the price. “We ordered breakfast burrito. The portions are large. The burrito was yummy. Only issue is the potatoes. Some were fully cooked others were partially cooked. They are are boiled potatoes that are sitting in a warming tray in water. They make your burrito a little soggy. Aside from that I would definitely recommend giving it a try.“
