“We ordered breakfast burrito. The portions are large. The burrito was yummy. Only issue is the potatoes. Some were fully cooked others were partially cooked. They are are boiled potatoes that are sitting in a warming tray in water. They make your burrito a little soggy. Aside from that I would definitely recommend giving it a try.“

“my go-to burrito place. Always friendly service. I like my burritos very spicy, and la estrella is one of the few places that will go as heavy on the habanero as I like. Super fast if you order over the phone, too. I mostly eat vegetarian and they make a very good veggie burrito. The fish is good, too.“
“Stopped here yesterday and ordered a shrimp burrito. It was really good but what I liked was the sweet cashier and how friendly she was helping me order.
The food is always great too the burrito are filing and for $1 more you can get a super burrito which totals to $16.
This place beats Chipotle badly and if you're in the mood for some good authentic Mexican food this truck is the spot.“

“I've been trying all the taco trucks in the area but keep returning to Emiliano's. Probably been there 50 times. Really good shrimp tacos. The shrimp is larger and more flavorful than typical. Also really like the al pastor. Carne asada and chicken is good too. My new favorite thing is the wet burrito.
By the way, I've never found them not open when they were supposed to be.“

“5 stars! Friendly staff, clean and comfortable, extensive menu, great prices, great value! my super burrito must have had a pound of carnitas, and hubby's mixed fajitas was plentiful as well. Fresh chips and salsa varieties available at the front, along with fresh water, self serve. we asked for containers and got free, fresh chips as well. Let's all support this family business!“

“Wonderful hospitality.
The food comes in big portions.
The quality of the food is superb, reminds you of abuela. Wonderful location way better than the Jack in the box that took that space before. Great value as well. It was my daughter and myself. She ordered a tostada and I had two al pastor tacos. It came to only $16!
My daughter turned me on to it. Now I’m hooked! I’ll definitely be back.“

“My son and I come here. Usually there is a line, so like anywhere else, you have to be patient. But the wait is worth it. This is the only fast food place I will eat at. The burrito bowl is the best if you want to skip the wheat tortilla.“

“The food is delicious, gluten free for any celiac folks out there. The staff are great the drinks delicious. I was there several times, party of two and party of 10. Very accommodating and the prices aren't insane. So if you're looking for a place by the waterfront, it's a good one!“

“An elevated liquor store that sells delicious Mexican food. Come here for tacos, quesadillas, even coffee and ice cream (depending on the day/time). I’ve been here now a few times and the owners are so down to earth & nice. Take some food to cook up at home too. This is the spot for some home handmade tortillas! Deliciosa!“

“This is my favorite breakfast burrito in San Francisco. They are so, so good - stuffed with bacon, beans, avocado, cheese - I’m literally drooling thinking about it. The staff here are so kind and lovely. It’s great for breakfast or lunch. It’s reasonably priced for the area. The mini churros are also yummy. The portions are very large. Highly recommend.“

“How cool that this Oakland gem has adapted during the pandemic! All of the delicious drinks and all kinds of new menu items all for take-out in...wait for it...compostable containers...even the bottles the drinks come in! Please support this sustainability-minded, amazing and delicious restaurant. They have a few outdoor tables, too. Go. Go now!“

“Ate at Golondrinas for the first time tonight. Ordered the special pupusas (zucchini and cheese) which came with a side of slaw plus some spicy sauce it was outstanding. Couldn't help but eat the entire plate of food. Had their green salad which was a very generous portion of incredibly fresh greens with shredded carrots and pepitas. It was a simple but totally delectable salad; easily enough to share if I had been with someone else. My main course was the poblano mole enchiladas with chicken and refried beans -- OMG soooo delicious. The mole was truly one of the best I have eaten! The refried beans were delectable. Felt like I was eating food made by someone who loved me. Highly encourage you to go and enjoy some of the best Mexican food I've ever eaten!“

“Delicious. The torta was divine and I loved the salsa bar especially since they had the taqueria pickled carrots and jalapeños as an option at the salsa bar! 10/10 would recommend. If I lived in San Fran, this would be my go-to spot. Service was great. Thank you so much!“

“Manitas is just around the corner from me. Not usually into Mexican food, but the huevos rancheros was actually really good. Tacos were decent too, and the horchata is sooo refreshing.“

“No pics but it’s a great “dive.” The dishes are very original and flavorful. I had the spicy chicken sandwich and a friend had the fish tacos. Sounds unoriginal, but the flavors are what make it special. We didn’t even order sides and were very satisfied with the portions. They also have a great variety of brews to choose from to go with the meal. I’m definitely going back. The atmosphere is great, even if it gets crowded, it wouldn’t feel like it. There’s good spacing between tables unlike a lot of places in San Francisco. The decor is slightly rustic and good atmospheric Latin music in the background, not too loud at all.“

“I had a Ratatoullie moment when I ate here, and I am Asian. There is not a drop of latin blood in my body, but when I bit into the al pastor super burrito I legit shed a tear. This place is just as good as, if not better than, the best foods I ate across Mexico.“

“Great burritos and service. The pozole (ask for toppings) was delicious. Mostly, I loved sitting at the counter and having a beautiful bay breeze hit my face while having lunch. Oakland as it is. Everyday life is romantic if you can stop and experience it.“

“The food and service are really good im a local and me and my family come here a lot whenever we arw hungry. I love the nacho fries because they make them with nacho cheese instead of shredded cheddar. Also ive had breakfast burritos at multiple places in the area and the ones here blow any of those out of the water, the regular burritos are good too. All the food taste fresh and cooked with care not assembled quick and sloppy, the whole menu is solid and i plan to keep coming in the future.“

“Delicious burritos - 3 versions Super, Regular, and Baby. With the Baby, I always have more left for later. I've not tried the other typical (enchiladas etc) Mexican fare, but have no doubt it's just as yummy. They don't take cards.“

“Food is awesome! Tried al pastor taco, sopa, taquito and steak taco. Everything was really delicious and fresh (except chips seemed a bit stale). Fresh yummy guac and salsas too.
Ordered delivery from an app and it came packaged really well too.“

“Came here for a baked potato and realized theres so much more to it than that! They had some delicious birria tacos and even birria ramen! The fish tacos were so delicious too. Im not usually one to divert from my usual agua de pepino but the drink with pineapple and i think it was spinach or something, i cant remember, but it was soo yummy too. The only thing that was really hard to figure out was parking. I spent like 30 minutes each time just going around the whole thing looking for parking. To be fair it was rush hour so there was a lot of traffic too.“

“My fave place to grab n go some homemade muy rico tamales! It's literally a window you order at, limited street parking, but you can get thicc delicious tamales hot and ready to eat or to keep for another day. They last a week in the fridge. But mine never last that long. Chicken is my fave, the cheese is good too. Veggies is my least fave but I still like it! Huge portions. Quality people and hearty tamales. Go get you some from Tamaleria Azteca!“

“I recently moved to the neighborhood and called a pick up order for a burrito. They were so kind to call me back because I forgot to mention the type of beans I wanted. When I went in, they were extremely nice and my burrito was massive. Chips and salsa were great. Large drink selection. Everything they do is in house. Can’t wait to go back!“

“Overall the food was ok
🌯: juicy and flavourful
🌮: small but tasty nevertheless
The “house chips” i.e. crips is the one to avoid😐it was waaaaay too salty and you can visibly see salt grains 😒
Bonus: you get a good view of the Alcatraz 😅“

“The BEST quesabirria place in the east bay! I drive all the way over to Richmond from Oakland when I want quesabirrias, there’s something special about the spices in the meat and the perfectly done tortillas. One of my favorite comfort foods. The steak tacos are also absolutely delicious! Would give 10 stars. Also everyone there is super nice!“

“Taqueria Talavera was good! I’m a burrito person and decided to try a different type of burrito instead of my regular carne asada. I decided to go with the specialty Mole burrito and it was spicy and flavorful, I was shocked how good it was. They had music playing also, so while you wait for your food you can could enjoy the music. The service was fast and efficient although I showed up close to closing time, I would for sure eat here again.“
