“We ordered breakfast burrito. The portions are large. The burrito was yummy. Only issue is the potatoes. Some were fully cooked others were partially cooked. They are are boiled potatoes that are sitting in a warming tray in water. They make your burrito a little soggy. Aside from that I would definitely recommend giving it a try.“

The quality of the food is superb, reminds you of abuela. Wonderful location way better than the Jack in the box that took that space before. Great value as well. It was my daughter and myself. She ordered a tostada and I had two al pastor tacos. It came to only $16!

“My son and I come here. Usually there is a line, so like anywhere else, you have to be patient. But the wait is worth it. This is the only fast food place I will eat at. The burrito bowl is the best if you want to skip the wheat tortilla.“

“The food here is beyond delicious - every taco we had from carnitas, birria, rib eye, maitake mushroom, chicken tinga - was truly incredible. The quesadilla is a big serving and also very tasty. The horchata is creamy and perfectly balanced, and not too sweet as many horchatas tend to be. The mezcal they serve is wonderful as well. The owners are so nice and service is very attentive. “Overall this is the best Mexican restaurant for many blocks around and it’s not particularly close. Super nice addition to the area.

The best thing here is the hot salsa, made from dried chilies, it’s really great but as far as I can tell they only give it to you if you ask, and it comes in a squeeze bottle.

I usually like carnitas extra crispy but theirs are very soft and super good.“

The guacamole inside was so fresh, as was the rice, chicken, and whole beans and real Monterey Jack cheese. This is our new go-to spot for excellent Mexican food. And very good prices and service!“

They get busy because of the location but they’re good with discounting the bill if service is slow. Halibut tacos are a must! Order two and order nothing else, they’re huge! I love the nacho fries because they make them with nacho cheese instead of shredded cheddar. Also ive had breakfast burritos at multiple places in the area and the ones here blow any of those out of the water, the regular burritos are good too. All the food taste fresh and cooked with care not assembled quick and sloppy, the whole menu is solid and i plan to keep coming in the future.“

It's literally a window you order at, limited street parking, but you can get thicc delicious tamales hot and ready to eat or to keep for another day. They last a week in the fridge. But mine never last that long. Chicken is my fave, the cheese is good too. Veggies is my least fave but I still like it! Huge portions. Quality people and hearty tamales.
