“Its a fast food joint, so atmosphere rating is kinda limited by that. I gave 5 stars otherwise because I do a lot of custom orders and this place is good at fulfilling them. They will grill burritos or other soft shell if you ask (true for any taco bell, in theory). It's my go-to, in quieter area than Fitzgerald one.“

Al principio ellos ponen chips crujientes frescos y salsa en tu mesa y tienen una barra de diferentes salsas las cuales puedes disfrutar con tus chips, el ambiente te hace sentir como en casa ellos son muy amables y al final te llevan unos ricos churros con crema de cortesía. “The food and service are really good im a local and me and my family come here a lot whenever we arw hungry. I love the nacho fries because they make them with nacho cheese instead of shredded cheddar. Also ive had breakfast burritos at multiple places in the area and the ones here blow any of those out of the water, the regular burritos are good too. All the food taste fresh and cooked with care not assembled quick and sloppy, the whole menu is solid and i plan to keep coming in the future.“

“Taqueria Talavera was good! I’m a burrito person and decided to try a different type of burrito instead of my regular carne asada. I decided to go with the specialty Mole burrito and it was spicy and flavorful, I was shocked how good it was. They had music playing also, so while you wait for your food you can could enjoy the music. The service was fast and efficient although I showed up close to closing time, I would for sure eat here again.“

I drive all the way over to Richmond from Oakland when I want quesabirrias, there’s something special about the spices in the meat and the perfectly done tortillas. One of my favorite comfort foods. The steak tacos are also absolutely delicious! Would give 10 stars. Also everyone there is super nice!“

“Reminds me of my grandma's food, so comforting and delicious every time. Cooks are from Guanajuato and this place is authentic. The birria caldo is delicious, carne asada plate is bomb with handmade tortillas, the mole enchiladas will blow your mind, and chile relleno was fire! 10 out 10 every time!“

“This is a very good Mexican and Salvadoran food restaurant. I had the super burrito with shrimp. NO UP charge! for shrimp versus other meats. This is a plus over other restaurants. I also really like their green sauce. It has good flavor and not to Spicey.“

“Came to eat here because we wanted to try something new and we were not disappointed. We tried the chicken, carnitas, lengua, chorizo, asada and pastor. All were flavorful i think my favorite was the chorizo :) the only Down side is that it’s a small place 4 spots to sit inside and the rest of the tables are outside. I’m not sure of they have bathroom either but I will definitely be back to try the other items on the menu !“

“No frills Mexican restaurant. Small. There’s like three tables and three employees but the food comes out super quickly. Red and green salsas for free. You pay extra for chips. I had the quesabirria and it was great. $21 with a soda. $25 with tip. Satisfying. My coworker got tacos and they looked decent. She was pleased.“

“So happy to find a delicious and friendly restaurant that doesn’t close in the afternoon in my neighborhood. We have been there several times in the past couple months and I’m still trying new things on the menu. My husband tried the ribs which he said were the best he’s ever had and half the serving went home with him. It was huge! Desserts are exceptional especially the flan. I’m still exploring their vegetarian options but so far my favorite is their version of chili relleno. Come and relax and enjoy the food and friendly atmosphere!“

Let me start off by saying I am a burrito guy. I realize this place opened in my neighborhood and decided to give it a try after reading the reviews. They’ve got a couple of reviews talking about how the food wasn’t that good etc. I live off of burritos and that is far from the truth.
The burrito itself was very tasteful. The seasoning was perfect. The rice is good. The shell was cooked exactly how most people would like it.
Let me get to the one star part of My review now.
First at the counter, the guy worked in the counter, gave him my order. It was hard for them to understand kept repeating, and I gave them specific directions slowly on how I wanted my burrito made. When you tell somebody no beans and then two minutes later they come back and say you don’t want no beans no I don’t. When you tell somebody I want cheese and then they come back while they’re sitting there typing something in and say do you want cheese. With that said that’s minimal here’s the bad part. My wife cannot eat dairy I told the first person three enchiladas and no dairy, no cheese and no sour cream. I said all three of those things however I should’ve only been able just to say no dairy and they should understand that, but I specifically said no cheese and sour cream.. Specifically said my wife cannot have dairy. After talking to the lady in the back going back And fourth. The lady comes out and continues my order. She’s really a hard worker and tries too hard but I think it’s a slight language barrier. She repeated to me no sour cream and no cheese and I said correct as I’m leaving getting my order she opens it to show me, how the enchiladas were and I said oh is that sour cream she said yes I said no sour cream. My wife cannot eat dairy no cheese and she goes oh no cheese?. So she takes the tray back rather than make a new one she scraped the sour cream out of the tray and was not aware of that at the time when I got home, I had to wipe it out with paper towels. I think they personally should’ve grabbed another tray possibly remade the order if it was the neighborhood of dairy. That’s just my opinion, but the food was great. Have a good day.
I went well before lunch place was not busy only one other customer there so no reason to get mixed up here. So I don’t want to dock them for the food and trying just making people aware who can’t have dairy. Be careful.“

“Las Palmitas is a solid, family-owned Mexican restaurant in Vallejo with deep roots in the community.
I was there for the Solano Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Banda Lonchera—something we do monthly—and it was a great spot for a midweek lunch. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, especially for a Wednesday around noon. Good energy, not rushed, and easy to have conversations with the group.
I’ve been here before for drinks, and they have a full bar with a great selection, which makes it a good option for both lunch and after-work meetups. This time I had the quesadillas and enjoyed them. Portions were solid, food was good, and others in our group also seemed to enjoy their meals.
What really stood out was getting to meet the family behind the restaurant. This is truly a family business—started by the mom over 30 years ago and now run by her two sons. You can feel that history and pride when you’re there.

This place is literally one of the only good places to eat authentic Mexican food. Their regular burritos are 10.95 and they are literally the size of other restaurants that charge you 13$ for "super" burrito and them shi be nasty. Bomb ahh asada fries, the guacamole is so good, it has a perfect mix of lime, pepper, salt and avocado. The tacos taste the same as the ones do in mexico, you want authentic? This place has tacos that are literally the same thing that they sell in Mexico, literally where tacos come from! (Specifically the ones from guadalajara, those are the ones it reminds me of). Burritos are fantastic. The asada is the best from every other taco place. If you want to find a better place you have to drive at least 30 more minutes south/southwest. This is an honest review by a real Mexican, not a gringo that only knows shell tacos and chimichangas.“
