Great place with authentic 🥘
Found this spot randomly searching for local spots to try. I seen the previous reviews and nothing beats authenticity especially in food. Went to try as a solo diner & it was amazing. Got the green chilaquiles with a pineapple hibiscus drink & sat outside soaking the sun. The sauce of the chilaquiles was not spicy (bummer) but was still good. Luckily they had side of hot sauces available. Would like to come back & try more options.

Las Guerreras is a family owned Mexican restaurant in Old Town Oakland. The food is amazing, fresh, and elevated in taste. The service is attentive and kind, even for large groups. The Barbacoa taco and Chicken - Chili Verde Tamale are excellent. The ceviche is to die for, and the best ever. A personal favorite is the pork pineapple taco. The vegetarian tacos are good, and the chicken pozole is a comforting, tasty option. The sangria tropical is one of the best and most refreshing cocktails. An agua fresca is also tasty. The restaurant offers a solid taco experience with flavorful fillings, though the pozole could use a more generous portion of chicken. It is a great spot for a quick, satisfying meal. The two ordering areas can be confusing for first-timers.
