Powell Station is footsteps away making Tropisueno my "go to" restaurant when I am near Union Square. The menu selection is diverse, which is great, but the last 2 times I have eaten there the service has fallen below satisfactory. I am bewildered as to why, seeing that they have far more wait staff than most restaurants.
Great authentic food. We are from Europe and I gotta say we don't have Mexican food like this here. Everything was cooked as if grandma was the chef. Fully recommend, we went back to the hotel

We went for happy hour and everything we tried was delicious. The margaritas were definitely strong! The staff visited our table regularly and were very quick! The outdoor area is decorated well and plenty warm.
