“A Michelin star that lives to expectation with friendly price. The service was welcoming and environment was cozy and warm. The food was beyond imagination. The menu was simple and unassuming but the food surprised us.The caviar potato cloud was just as the name suggested. I’ve never seen such fluffy texture from potato! The scallop was actually sashimi style, not sautéed as I thought. The flavor was so colorful and bright. Great appetizer dish in my opinion. The lamb sirloin was well seasoned and cooked just right. What’s also interesting were the sides. Each type of carrots were prepared differently and had a distinct unique flavor that complimented the lamb in different ways. The seafood pasta was the only dish that’s “normal”. Still good but not as imaginative as other dishes. However, it’s a good carb dish that filled us.The portion is on smaller side here. Everything is meant to be shared and you should aim for 2 dishes per person. The menu might change and can be different from the website.“

A random guy outside told us it was the best scallops in the city, so we decided to give it a try. I'm not sure if they are the best in the city but they were definitely some of the best scallops I've ever had. The pasta was the highlight of the night but all the food was delicious. I would recommend it to anyone in the area.“

“Wildseed shines as a gem in the vegetarian dining scene, blending exquisite flavors with an inviting atmosphere. Upon entering, guests are greeted by an ambiance that balances chic elegance with a cozy vibe, setting the stage for a remarkable culinary journey. The menu, a showcase of the chefs' creativity, features standout dishes like the innovative potato pizza, a crispy, savory delight; the spicy yellow curry, rich and perfectly balanced with heat; and the Brussels sprouts with kimchi, a fusion dish that surprises and delights with its bold flavors and textures. While the food takes center stage, Wildseed's service and atmosphere contribute significantly to the dining experience. Staff members are enthusiastic and attentive, making every diner feel special and well-cared for. The restaurant's commitment to quality and the freshness of its ingredients is evident in every dish, making each bite a celebration of plant-based cuisine. The sole critique would be the presence of big flies in the gents bathroom, a minor issue in an otherwise impeccable visit. This slight inconvenience does little to mar the overall excellence of Wildseed, where culinary artistry, exceptional service, and a warm ambiance come together to create a memorable dining experience. Whether you're a vegetarian or simply a lover of great food and atmosphere, Wildseed promises an unforgettable visit, standing out as a beacon of culinary innovation and delight.“

“My friend and I came here for a brunch and both of us were satisfied with what we've gotten. I ordered the roasted prawns, which was served with like a potato sauce/soup rather than mashed potatoes, but I'm not complaining and I in fact like it as it was very creamy and delicious with the sauces drizzled on top. The prawns themselves were all very fresh, big and meaty. My friend and I both love the cilantro topping. The smoked salmon egg Benedict was pretty good too, as the salmon was tender, thick, and not too smoky, the salad was freshly made with a decent refreshing dressing, and the eggs are perfectly poached with high quality eggs which you can tell by the orangish thick runny yolk. The roasted baby potatoes on the side are like the best roasted potatoes my friend and I have ever had, they might be fried, but it's very crispy, not hard, on the outside and soft like mashed potatoes on the inside, they were perfectly seasoned too. We also ordered the yuzu desert to share but my friend was in a rush for a date so we had it boxed and I took it home and forgot about it until the next day. Honestly I was very impressed by it because it has a very delicious and refreshing flavor and it's creamy with great consistency. I killed it in couple of seconds cause of how good it is. I wish my friend had a chance to try it. The restaurant itself have a nice environment, even tho we both think some tables are too closed to each others it's still big and wide enough for you to not overhear other's conversations or feel like it's too crowded or noisy. The staffs are nice too. They made sure nobody took our stuffs when we went out for a smoke. We honestly didn't know they have a brunch menu when we decided to come here, we were expecting some lamb shanks but we ended up happy for trying out their brunch items. It's a good experience overall and we will consider coming back again.“

“***This review is a culmination of my multiple experience at Memento***Memento is not just a restaurant, it's a sentiment where warm genuine hospitality emanates; paired with it's eclectic low ABV cocktail program, inventive small plates and curated entrees. The interior is moody, it's warm dimmed lighting just gently kisses your skin, this is a great spot for a date night, perhaps with some friends who enjoys dining out or a time alone at the bar with your glass of wine and a book. After coming here a bunch of times, I can say that Memento is a neighborhood spot like no other in Noe Valley, the food here is different and experimental without straying away from Californian roots; and freshness is still the main focus. The ingredients are top tier and well selected both in the kitchen and the bar.Drinks:I love the low ABV cocktails here, look out for the: Ghost Rider (complex and elegant spice), Memento Mori (tropical fruit and clean fresh notes), You had me at Hello (for the french 75 lovers) and Green Dragon (tea forward flavor profile). The drinks are well balanced and visually enticing. Also, ask for their mocktails because it's not listed but it's available. Their wine and beer selection is intentionally curated to pair with your food, so don't sleep on that either and ask for recommendations or any new concoction they're formulating.Food:The small plates section (tapas) lets you go on an experience, they recommend sharing multiple plates. My personal favorites are:***Empanadas (the dough here is the real star, it's light and not too doughy and the filling ratio pairs just right).***Mussels w/ Grilled Focaccia: this dish is just out of this world, it's almost addictive, just the slight sweetness from the coconut milk mixed with curry, makes this dish unforgettable. The sauce on this with the grilled focaccia.... you have to experience it for yourself***Za'atar Flat Bread: perfectly cooked flat bread, fresh mozzarella and tomatoes truly speaks to the quality of the ingredients. The Za'atar spice also leaves a memory of a spice market, it's nostalgic and quite memorable.Going to the Mains:I have so much thoughts on this but I have to summarize my top favorites:***Roasted Beets & Ricotta Rigatoni: this menu item sounds almost like an alliteration, and the flavor of this dish is something you'll only have here. It's vegetarian, but the beets serve as the base notes to ground this dish against the zingy ricotta and lemony parsley. Very inventive and playful! I never had anything like it before.***Crispy Curry Chicken: The texture of hummus puree on this with coconut milk enlivens the Filipino in me, this dish is also gluten free since they use crispy garbanzo for the chicken, this is a must have and a legacy here.***Filet Mignon: This entree doesn't need a description because it's something you need to experience for yourself. I like this dish as medium rare and the cauliflower puree on this plays well with the filet's leanness.Desserts (Pls make room because this is my favorite part!!!)They have other desserts on the menu and they are all really good! but...***Caramel Flan: This is the winner, I honesty don't like desserts unless it's flan or tiramisu, so you can call me a snob on these two desserts (since I've had flan in Mexico, Spain and the Philippines). This Flan is the happy medium of rich and savory, it's also the right amount of sweetness while remaining rich and light, also without that weird eggy taste (iykyk). The caramel part of this dessert is not overbearing, it's a dance between two major components that could make or break a flan for me. This dish alone... I can write a 14 page thesis/review here... but that will probably get me banned for being obsessed here... But humor aside, bravo! This flan is perfection. All in all, after reading this review, it's your turn to try it for yourself - hopefully I am the instrument that leads you to your favorite new spot and dishes in the city!“

Perfect for three people and all excellent. The love actually and life coach cocktails were delicious.“

“Elevated Mexican food! This is fine dining but with great prices. I got the fish tacos and my husband got the beef tacos. They all were incredible! Their Horchata also tasted extra fancy, which was fun. We got the black bean dip appetizer as well, which we would definitely recommend. It’s big enough for 2-3 people to share. The tacos are small so I would definitely recommend getting an appetizer as well. The portions will leave it satisfied and maybe wanting dessert as well. Everything seemed very authentic. Would highly recommend coming here!“

“Unique, fun atmosphere with a menu that offers small plates to share or salad and entree options. The food leans towards American comfort dishes. There is seating at the bar, tables downstairs, and tables upstairs. The interior of the restaurant is comfortable with an inviting vibe. The noise level seemed high and made intimate duscussions difficult but fun for big, social groups. The staff were friendly and professional. The seating areas and bathrooms were clean.“

“Local bars like the Dogpatch Saloon are part of a vanishing class of drinking establishments: Friendly vibes where regulars and newcomers are all welcome, dog-friendly, low-key and sort of divey but also classy(??), expert bartenders who treat customers feel like familiar friends, and a great selection of liquors and beers on tap. Walking into this place kinda feels like coming home whether it's your first time here or your fiftieth.“

“In a fantastic neighborhood for a full night out, this place has a casual vibe while remaining bustling and energetic. Parking can be tricky, however, so maybe ride share or use public transport, or be prepared to walk a few blocks.Chicory salad was a stand-out with the tuna crudo. Pasta tasted fresh, perfectly chewy and sauces flavorful. I have a sense any sauce/preparation would be great here. Good vegetarian options. Excellent cocktails.“

“We came here for a private event and I am glad we got to meet the owner of this bar. He is born and raised in San Francisco which is a very rare staple now in the san francisco. So if you are looking for a quiet place for drinks, host your own party / event, or private bookings this is your place. They have great street parking and its in a quiet place out on the street at night. The drinks were good, thanks to the bartenders who made drinks off menu and the food was awesome too! Definitely coming back to show support and to help the Aura team stay in business because we have to keep our natives here :)“

“I saw the sign on the sidewalk and decided to try for lunch. I got the Cenote with chicken, which is basically the John Holmes of burritos. As a hetero, I felt slightly awkward yet still managed to enjoy (hmmmm…) Seriously, it was delicious and packed with plenty of chicken. Some parts of the burrito were randomly cold, which I think was caused by the rice not being hot. You should fix that. Also, there is waaaay too much lemon in the water. Like unsweetened lemonade. It was undrinkable. Maybe give folks the option to have lemons or not.The chips and salsa were pretty good, with two salsa options included. But they didn’t give enough of either to finish the chips. If they fix the water I’d gladly eat there again. Or maybe they have bottled water? Just thought of that… duh.“

“Do you like a place that's locally owned, well this is the place. The owner is there working with the staff making sure everyone is having a great time. Great bartenders. The sliders are truly something your taste buds will marvel at. They are presented on an English muffin that's lightly toasted and served with just a little mayo. The shrimp are served in a garlic butter that just makes your mouth water. The chips and guacamole were probably some of the freshest I've ever had, I had to wonder if she picked the avocados off the tree that morning.“

“Had one or my best meals on a recent trip to SF at Liliana! I went with a friend and we got two small plates and two mains. Loved the little gem salad for something on the healthy side, and the full belly shishitos were more filling than expected. On the mains, the beef short rib was absolutely phenomenal and good for 3-4, so we ended up taking it home because it was so good! The ricotta dumplings on the other hand were creamy and filling. We walked away from this meal stuffed and happy, and will be coming back to try it again as the menu changes regularly.I also want to highlight the hospitality by the front of house - we actually had to reschedule twice in the day to accommodate some calls, and the receptionist was very flexible and easy to speak with.“
