“Not too impressed with the cocktail I got a Toki highball, not much to say it was flat no flavor. Had appetizer's only, the fries and chicharrones. Great value, well done and for the chicharrones a unique way to serve them with salsa. Needs more salsa.The place is a bit loud, low lighting as well. Staff was great.“
“We had dinner there tonight (3/14/24) for the first time and we will be back. They are two of the most interesting and truly delicious sandwiches we have ever eaten. I can't remember what mine was called, but it had chicken (roasted perfectly), sauerkraut, cheese and other awesome stuff on a grilled rye bread that was excellent. My bride had the turkey sandwich and loved it. But the star of the show were the Tater Tots. Perfectly crisp with BBQ sauce to dip them in and then into some wonderful real bacon bits. Every tot stayed crisp from the first to the last. The meal was worth every penny and more. Get into the Alameda location and try it. You won't be sorry. PS: The only bad part for me is that we live in Seattle and won't be back down until May. But you can bet I will be eating here then.“

“Came here with an old friend, we ended up staying for three hours, and we're the last to leave with a large margin. What kept us so long was the great food, the excellent service, and an atmosphere that invites long discussions.Everything on the menu looked so good, and made it hard to pick. I decided to go for scallops on risotto, and finish with a variation on New York Cheesecake. OMG, it was all soooo good.Will be back soon!“

Prosciutto Croquettas for the WIN - Panko-Breaded Fried bechamel with Ground Prosciutto & Garlic Aoli dipping sauce was DIVINE. Spinach and Arugula tossed in Parmesan Cheese and their House Apple Cider vinaigrette made me feel like I was eating healthy (sort of). And let's not forget the 8oz Grilled Flat Iron Steak... drooling just thinking about it! Roasted Garlic Mashed Potatoes were creamy perfection, Red Wine Demi Glace added that extra oomph, and those Crispy onion Strings brought the whole thing together. “Pencil Azul in Harbor Bay now has beautiful outdoor seating overlooking the water. One of our sodas was served in a cracked glass, but was quickly replaced when brought to server's attention. The super famoso burrito was enough for two to share.“
“Fireside Lounge in Alameda is pretty cool. DJ heats up Fridays, and while they might not have every drink under the sun, the vibe's solid. Dance floor’s always lit, plus open mic and art stuff keep it interesting. Not just a bar but a real gem in Alameda. Solid 4 stars from me!“
“Service was friendly and elegant. Food and cocktails are good quality and creative. Pizza crust and house made pasta are tasty, though the desserts are a bit too sweet. It can be a bit loud when crowded with a soaring ceiling and many hard surfaces. No paper menus; you have to use a QR code to look at the DoorDash app then tell the server your order. I get that this is a cheaper way to update the menu, but it’s really tacky at this price point and level of service.“

“The best place we've eaten at in alameda! My mom said her eggplant was crispy and very well seasoned. The burger had bacon mixed it-and you could actually taste the bacon! The foccacia was amazing! Wish it came with a little more bread! Bar tender Mike was the best!“
