The bratwurst is perfect with the kraut and horseradish. The smoked bison is a bit on the dry and spicy side. Reminds me of a Slim Jim. I wish I tasted more bison, but it's still good. The herbed goat cheese and lavash bread is to die for! The herbs are perfectly balanced with the cheese and spreads so easily on the bread!All paired perfectly with Zin-phomaniac red wine!“

“In town for the Cat Power show at the Fox Theater. Came to have a drink. Warm welcome from the friendly bartender. I see the No Kings sign and the rainbow flag. It's $3 cans and a full bar. Divey but cozy. Full of characters, lively buzz but unpretentious. And they play punky/emo music from when I was in college. Great spot.“

So I pre ordered their “To Go Box” Raquel was absolutely helpful and professional when corresponding to my inquiries. Had it delivered directly to the hotel and it was waiting at the front desk (refrigerated in the back) when we arrived. The hotel staff said this was the best and most beautiful charcuterie box she has ever seen! Oh how we enjoyed it once we were up in our room! Highly recommend and would definitely order from them again when in town!“

Six dollars for a nice glass of merlot. Fun music. The patrons were friendly and having a great time. Looking forward to stopping in again soon.“

“We started with the truffle fries and brussel sprouts. The fries were light and perfectly cooked and these were the best brussel sprouts I’ve ever had (and I order them whenever I can). I had the asparagus salad with chicken which I’m still thinking about the next day. The ingredients were super fresh and the chicken tender. The warm asparagus and chicken on the crisp salad was very satisfying and the flavor mix could not have been better. Service was very friendly and attentive and the ambience was really nice, lot of wood and candle light. Would be a perfect date night restaurant.“

“A great place to go work when you have a lot to get done. More outside spots than inside so its better on a sunny day. Its open late which is great. Never issues with the wifi bht limited charging spots.
Drinks are very yummy.

“OMG 😳 The Ceviche (not counting my wife’s handmade ceviche) is the best I have ever tasted, and I’ve tasted a lot of ceviche. It’s soooo good. I had the Mango 🥭 Avocado 🥑 Shrimp 🍤 Ceviche it was like an explosion of flavors in my mouth, I couldn’t stop eating it. Great tacos 🌮 everything was beyond my expectations. “I stumbled upon this and so was rather to try it out, given the high reviews it had. And I'm glad to see that I was not disappointed. The samosas and potato pakoras were absolutely delicious. I'd had this at another restaurant and the difference was so obvious. This was fresher, more decadent, truly loved it. We then had the mixed kabob platter and I loved that they were willing to substitute the shrimp for salmon. It truly was a tasty mix of food, and the portions were actually good enough for two people. If more than two, then that would not be the best option. Dave was also amazing, and worked on meeting my special request. I loved that he wasn't upset about it and even came over to check to see how it was. The level of customer service he showed plus the other waitstaff was very welcome. I certainly would come back here again for sure, and would recommend it to others.“

“I had a company retirement party lunch. We shared a margarita pizza and salad for appetizer. The pizza was off the charts delicious. The sauce was amazing. We also shared the octopus. The octopus was the best octopus I have eaten in over 30 years. It was five plus stars!!!! However, my lunch entree of halibut chickpeas & zucchini completely missed the mark. The spices and pepper on the halibut destroyed the beautiful delicate fish. The chickpea zucchini and two other unrecognizable, hard bitter crunchy vegetables tasted awful. I was very disappointed at the $32 entree. The person who chose the hamburger said it was tasty but it was huge enough for two meals. The Panini people were so-so. Finally the pasta people absolutely loved their pasta. After tasting the gnocchi it was exceptional, the marinara sauce was off the charts delicious.“

“We stopped here on a whim as we were looking for something new after a workout class.

Walking in there were plenty of tables open. This place has an enormous bar area as well. It must have been a sports bar in its former life.

We ordered the Roti to start and my wife ordered the spring rolls with shrimp. I went with the roast duck over rice. The Roti was fine… it seemed like they put their roti in a panini press and just served it like that, so not a lot of flavor. The Thai restaurant down the street (infinity) has a much better roti. The curry dipping sauce was really good though. My wife said the spring rolls were “fine”. I really enjoyed my duck over rice dish though. The duck was moist and full of flavor and the hot soy sauce had a nice kick to it.

Service seemed a bit off, slow to get water for us and hot sauce, but everyone was nice.

I’d come back for the duck rice, but I don’t know if this place would get elevated to a “must return”.“

“OMGAAAAAAWWDD...The Chilaquiles and birria tacos were on point! Ive been looking for chilaquiles like that since ive been to Mexico City. Everyone makes them different but they make them here the way I like em! The Michelada was bomb too!! Definitely coming back to try the rest of the menu! The ower is is super nice and knows how to make a mean cocktail. I had a great experience, highly recommend for some real authentic mexican food!“

“we love the vibe, service and menu at GLK on Grand and have been going there for years. On our last visit we were surprised by how salty the food was. I think the cooks are overly generous with salt. Both our brussel sprouts and the scallops were really over salted. Next visit we will be sure to order low/no salt, and send back anything that's too salty.“
