“Ok so first, the food was absolutely DELICIOUS, AMAZING, TERRIFIC, and so much more. Second, once you have ordered your food it will come in 15 or less minutes! Third, once you come into the restaurant, (you may have to wait in a line) the hostess will ask you for your name and phone number, if you want to be seated outside or inside, and how long the wait time is (about 20 minutes). Lastly, you should definitely consider coming to Jack's if you're feeling hungry! (They serve breakfast until 2:00pm and lunch all day.) PS you HAVE to try the Mac and cheese!Vegetarian options: You could get the omelet (which is very good) if you are looking for something that is for vegetarians.Kid-friendliness: The hostess would ask you if you want a kid(s) menus. Plenty of options on the kids menu.“

I have significant food allergies, but I was able to make slight adjustments without any problem, and without any annoyance by our waitress. I had the beet salad and the deviled eggs, and both were delicious. I thought the pricing was fair and a good value for what was served. My salad proportion wise was very large. It's crispy outside and soft inside... and delicious. We ordered 2 pinsas. One has the same name as the restaurant and was soooooo good, very tasty. We enjoyed both. Their octopus appetizer was one of the best I've ever eaten. Simple preparation that allowed the quality ingredients to shine. The octopus was fresh and tender... not chewy. My spouse loved the grilled exterior of the octopus. I was sorry we did not order 2 of them. Salome our server was wonderful. Her suggestions about the food and wine were spot on. Her only mistake was not suggesting that I order my own octopus appetizer... Still we hope she is our server when we return. Our next time will be for dinner in order to enjoy their full menu.“

We sat right at the window table. The view was amazing. The service since we walked in was great. Everyone smiled & greeted us. The waitress was great at her job. The bussers made sure our plates were cleared & were on top of refilling drinks. We had the prawns & Bruschetta bread as appetizers, delicious! “Pretty good restaurant in Walnut Creek for some classic Italian dishes. The dining space is clean and gives more of an open family feeling to the place. They do also have a nice bar by the front that is kind of separated from the rest of the dining area. The drinks are a little hit or miss here, though. They do skimp on thr alcohol a little bit here, so make sure you order a more liquor-heavy drink or stick with their selection of wines. The food is great and really delicious. There was nothing that our table did not enjoy eating. They do have changing specials, and I highly recommend trying them. The desserts were also very good. Make sure to try their tiramisu since they do give a good portion of it. Overall a great place to take a date or the family.Dietary restrictions: They are able to serve gluten-free pasta upon request.Parking: There are plenty of parking garages if you want to spend money. The naan taco was very good, and I would like to sample more of these creations in the future. The Chai Old-Fashioned was okay, but the burnt cinnamon stick did not really have the smokey impact I wanted. I just think that is the wrong type of thing to add smoke to a cocktail, I guess. The Manhattan, however, was phenomenal! Would highly recommend to anyone who drinks those. Eggs Benedict

“My absolute favorite restaurant in Walnut Creek. Local, fresh ingredients, farm to table style food. The menu changes often to keep up with the season foods. The cocktails are creative and artisanal, no basic drinks here! From their omelettes to the pasta to the grilled pesto panini- I could eat here everyday!“

“Me and my wife stopped in on Christmas eve in the early afternoon. Not many people in and we had never eaten there. Got seated quickly. Wife ordered the burrito vegano and I got a al pastor burrito. The burritos were huge and the salsa that came with them was amazing and nicely spicy. We hadn't eaten breakfast so having a huge meal was nice, didn't need to eat much for dinner that night. I also had the Mexican mocha which was really nice.We came back a few weeks later on a Sunday, it was much busier and noisier but it is a small place and it was pretty full. We got seated and our server from last time came over to say hi and that she remembered us. This time my wife ordered the tofu fajitas bowl and I ordered the torta ahgada which I was warned was very spicy which was good for me. Food came out quickly for how busy they were. My torta was fantastic and the spice was right on, it cleared my sinuses that was for sure. Service both times was great and the food was spectacular. Will be coming back here often.“

“First time stopping by here after work. I started at the bar to order some happy hour drinks and appetizers and then moved on to a table with friends. The bartender and server at the table were great. The atmosphere inside was very chill, not too crowded, and had people from every walk of life. I would definitely be coming back. My only thing was the chicken wings I ordered were supposed to be salt and pepper but came out with little to no seasoning. I did try the fries, and they were decent.“

“Love their guacamole and chips. Very good tacos also. Go on Tuesdays for best prices.Great service; Ashley was fast and friendly, checked back often and very professional!Parking: Parking at Veranda is challenging, go early or park toward north end or Whole Foods. Nice shopping area but they didn’t plan parking very well.“
