“A pizza is not just a pizza at this restaurant. It's very different and very good. They call it a pinsa... cloud like pizza. Their description is accurate. It's crispy outside and soft inside... and delicious. We ordered 2 pinsas. One has the same name as the restaurant and was soooooo good, very tasty. We enjoyed both. Their octopus appetizer was one of the best I've ever eaten. Simple preparation that allowed the quality ingredients to shine. The octopus was fresh and tender... not chewy. My spouse loved the grilled exterior of the octopus. I was sorry we did not order 2 of them. Salome our server was wonderful. Her suggestions about the food and wine were spot on. Her only mistake was not suggesting that I order my own octopus appetizer... Still we hope she is our server when we return. Our next time will be for dinner in order to enjoy their full menu.“

“The restaurant is tucked just off the main downtown area. Relaxed open dining environment. Service was quick and attentive. I had the burger with side salad and crème brûlée for desert. Burger was cooked to order and the salad was a nice spring salad with candied pecans, feta cheese, and a simple vinaigrette. The crème brûlée was tasty but a little less crisp on top than would have been ideal. Overall a good place to grab a bite of comfort food.“

“Pretty good restaurant in Walnut Creek for some classic Italian dishes. The dining space is clean and gives more of an open family feeling to the place. They do also have a nice bar by the front that is kind of separated from the rest of the dining area. The drinks are a little hit or miss here, though. They do skimp on thr alcohol a little bit here, so make sure you order a more liquor-heavy drink or stick with their selection of wines. The food is great and really delicious. There was nothing that our table did not enjoy eating. They do have changing specials, and I highly recommend trying them. The desserts were also very good. Make sure to try their tiramisu since they do give a good portion of it. Overall a great place to take a date or the family.Dietary restrictions: They are able to serve gluten-free pasta upon request.Parking: There are plenty of parking garages if you want to spend money. Not that much free street parking around, though.Kid-friendliness: Good place to take kids for a nice meal with the family.“

“LOVED this place, just wish it was a little bit more affordable and the seating was spaced apart more. We got 3 different types of empanadas and they were all super yummy, don't sleep on the mushroom one it was AMAZING! We ordered a seafood stew, the pork adobo, fries, and 2 cocktails and everything was very good! We don't usually have Peruvian food though so I can't speak to its authenticity but it sure was delicious! My favorite had to be the seafood stew, there was an abundance of seafood and the sauce is just to die for! Definitely a great date night spot! The only reason this is getting a 4 is because our seat was pretty cramped and we there were ppls chair backs pressed right into our table.“

“Beautiful restaurant, excellent food, outstanding service. I had the octopus and paella. The octopus was perfect. It's easy to over or undercook octopus, but this was perfect with a nice light char. I thought the paella mixta was a bit fatty and lacked spice and depth of flavor, it was a bit one note. But it was delicious nonetheless and they nailed the crispy rice which is difficult. I highly recommend this restaurant.“

“First time to 5 Tacos & Beers. They far exceeded my expectation. The service was amazing. Everyone was super friendly and knowledgeable. Just the right amount of service level. The food is AMAZING. We ordered the Chips and Guac. Soooo good. I got the Flatas De Pollo. My wife got the Quesabirria. I can’t rave enough about the food. We have been looking for a go to Mexican restaurant. Thankfully, we just found it. Everything was absolutely DELISH!!We have also tried Bar Camino. That place doesn’t begin to hold a candle to 5 Tacos. Don’t waste your time trying Bar Camino when you can come here. Food is super salty at Bar Camino anyway. Drinks at 5 Tacos were also spot on. I tried a few different Margs. They know what they are doing.Thank You to the wait staff and chef for being such a delight. We will absolutely be back! Can’t wait to eat here again!!Vegetarian options: Several vegetarian options. Waitress pointed them out to us as we were reviewing the menu.Parking: You will need to find street parking or park in a nearby paid meter lot. Weekends are very busy. I’ve always been able to find parking though.“

“Fun decor, slightly nostalgic like a piece of Pirates themed ride for adults. Beware: drinks are very strong (and the liquor is not blended in well to the mixers). Food is just okay but not many choices for dietary restrictions. Staff is friendly but it’s often difficult to get their attention so wait times to order or receive your food/drinks can be long.Overall: it’s fun to check out, maybe for one drink, but it’s not my first recommendation for most people.“

“As far as the food gores, the Pepperoni Flatbread was delicious and everything one could ask for in such a treat. I had thought I ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala naan taco, but was delivered the Chana Masala one instead. Let's just chalk that up to a moderately noisy environment. The naan taco was very good, and I would like to sample more of these creations in the future. The Chai Old-Fashioned was okay, but the burnt cinnamon stick did not really have the smokey impact I wanted. I just think that is the wrong type of thing to add smoke to a cocktail, I guess. The Manhattan, however, was phenomenal! Would highly recommend to anyone who drinks those. The service this particular night was a little slow, and it wasn't until after we ordered our drinks that the server clarified that they are still using the QR code menu for now. The service wasn't pleasant and friendly, just not very attentive.“

It’s not overly salted, it’s just a lot of salt overall.“

“Me and my wife stopped in on Christmas eve in the early afternoon. Not many people in and we had never eaten there. Got seated quickly. Wife ordered the burrito vegano and I got a al pastor burrito. The burritos were huge and the salsa that came with them was amazing and nicely spicy. We hadn't eaten breakfast so having a huge meal was nice, didn't need to eat much for dinner that night. I also had the Mexican mocha which was really nice.We came back a few weeks later on a Sunday, it was much busier and noisier but it is a small place and it was pretty full. We got seated and our server from last time came over to say hi and that she remembered us. This time my wife ordered the tofu fajitas bowl and I ordered the torta ahgada which I was warned was very spicy which was good for me. Food came out quickly for how busy they were. My torta was fantastic and the spice was right on, it cleared my sinuses that was for sure. Service both times was great and the food was spectacular. Will be coming back here often.“
