“So, to begin with. When you see the place from a street, it is not the first choice to swing by, yet when you peek through the window, you'll see an open kitchen with food being cooked nonstop, a hood sign.Inside the place seems a bit crowded, yet you could probably squeeze 8n at the bar if you ask nicely even if you don't have reservation :)And now the food, fantastic italian cusine - the pasta is appropriately aldente, tomato sauce is fantastic, the beef carpaccio blows you away. And in the end you feel guilty if you miss the dessert.I would definitely recommend making a reservation and arrive hungry.Parking in a garage nearby is plenty.“
“Pretty good restaurant in Walnut Creek for some classic Italian dishes. The dining space is clean and gives more of an open family feeling to the place. They do also have a nice bar by the front that is kind of separated from the rest of the dining area. The drinks are a little hit or miss here, though. They do skimp on thr alcohol a little bit here, so make sure you order a more liquor-heavy drink or stick with their selection of wines. The food is great and really delicious. There was nothing that our table did not enjoy eating. They do have changing specials, and I highly recommend trying them. The desserts were also very good. Make sure to try their tiramisu since they do give a good portion of it. Overall a great place to take a date or the family.Dietary restrictions: They are able to serve gluten-free pasta upon request.Parking: There are plenty of parking garages if you want to spend money. Not that much free street parking around, though.Kid-friendliness: Good place to take kids for a nice meal with the family.“
“Great food, eventually, but we were too stressed out to enjoy it. Four top with reservations for 6 pm seated immediately, yet food didn't arrive for over an hour! The place was packed due to an event across the street at the arts center beginning at 7:30 pm that we had tickets for, so they either overbooked or were short staffed in the kitchen. We'll return, but make reservations for 5 pm next time, or go elsewhere...there are dozens of good options.“
“When visiting this fine Italian restaurant, be sure to order the Sunday gravy. It's basically every type of meat poured over by a delicious Italian red sauce, and then placed on top of a pile of spaghetti. The drinks were also prepared very well. The line is long so call ahead and make a reservation.“
“Had a Detroit combo and the Frank's buffalo hot wings. Wings were crispy but will not try again. Pizza is the best I have ever had, worth the atrocious wait time. Will do it again as a special treat, our Detroit Pizza and wings fed 4 people.“
“Had a rare "kid free" date night here. Food was great. I had the pistachio crusted lamb. Brilliant. Wife had the pomodoro with shrimp. We both loved it. Cocktails were great. They had a nice two piece band playing that didn't overwhelm the room but simply enhanced the vibe. Service was impeccable. We will return for another date night for sure!“
“Old school Italian! The entire team was so friendly and attentive. Plenty of vegetarian options and everything was delicious. Our daughter had the ravioli and finished the half order. My wife had the pesto spaghetti and loved it. I tried the linguini with house made sausage. It was all delicious. I had the full order and probably would have been fine with the half order it was so much food! They also brought out two kinds of bread and butter before and with the meal. The desserts all looked amazing but we had to try the profiteroles and it was amazing! We will be back to try more!“
“I've loved this deli and the other one near My. Diablo Blvd for years. No one, no way, no how has proven they can manage a long standing deli as long, with the best quality/tasting products. Not only that, but the hot food is the bomb (my favorite is still the zucchini and artichoke torte!!)“
“Pizzas are so yummy! People who works here are so friendly! Tired first time and loved it! We ordered half and half (Combo and Margarita mix)p.s. they also have great beer ? options. (hazy ipa is strongly recommended)Thank you panCoast Pizza! ?Parking: They have free parking options specifically allocated to panCoast pizza. It's limited but not hard to find spot.“
“Service: Friendly staff and quick service. It was great. Ambiance: It gave me a classic Italian American restaurant vibe with so many things to look at on the walls and ceiling. I loved it. Food: - Riccia Con Pollo: Chicken breast with pancetta, peppers, and zucchini in cream sauce and served on pasta strips. Delicious! To me this dish was the highlight of what we ordered. The pasta was cooked al dente, the sauce was creamy (but not too thick) and savory, and the veggies were nice and tender. The chicken breast helped round this dish and make it a wholesome meal. I also really enjoyed the portion. I would get this again. $17.45 for dinner as of April 2024. - Prawns Di Savona: Jumbo prawns sautéed with zucchini strips, sun-dried tomatoes and garlic, served over spinach fettuccini in a cream sauce. While it sounds very appealing on paper, unfortunately the flavor was extremely bland. We ended up having to add our own salt and parmesan cheese just to give this dish some flavors. I had a really high expectation but was really disappointed. But the fettuccini noodles were nice, wide and slippery, which I loved. $18 for dinner as of April 2024. - Meat Lasagna: Beef, ricotta, mozzarella and parmigiana with meat sauce. Portion of this dish was much smaller compared to the other pasta dishes we got, but the flavor was okay - it was just a tad too on the saltier side for me. $17.50 for dinner as of April 2024. - Complimentary Bread: The bread was nice but I wish it came to us warm, but instead it was cold/at room temperature. - Complimentary Breadsticks: I really liked the breadsticks (self-serve).“
“Loved the linguine and white clams! My 5 and 4 year old enjoyed the fresh warm rolls, kid's menu where you can pick out your noodles and sauce. They also had a giant jelly bean jar where there kids could grab as many as they wanted and had little to go cups for them. Definitely will be back!“
“Classic staple of Walnut Creek. Been going here for over a decade, and it always hits the spot. Great food and atmosphere. But not sure if they have new ownership bc service and management has nosedived. Last few times I visited, there was little of/no inventory for some standard meats and cheeses, no name plates on items so you don’t know what you are ordering, no napkins, slow service, and they got my order wrong. Concerned bc this place is near and dear to my heart, but hopefully this isn’t a new theme.“
“Me, my bridesmaids and my family went to Tomatina after wedding dress shopping in Walnut Creek and it was the perfect ending to a wonderful afternoon! Fereidon's customer service and warmth kept the good vibes flowing, as we all talked about our families and the dress shopping experience. The food was also great! Would definitely return again!“
“came in during Easter Sunday lunch and this Italian restaurant is great for a romantic date night or any special occasion! the spacious dining area has a nice warm and cozy feel. our table was right in front of the pizza oven where we got to watch our food be made in front of us. highly recommend this restaurants for any of their pasta's and pizza's, so delicious!“
“A pizza is not just a pizza at this restaurant. It's very different and very good. They call it a pinsa... cloud like pizza. Their description is accurate. It's crispy outside and soft inside... and delicious. We ordered 2 pinsas. One has the same name as the restaurant and was soooooo good, very tasty. We enjoyed both. Their octopus appetizer was one of the best I've ever eaten. Simple preparation that allowed the quality ingredients to shine. The octopus was fresh and tender... not chewy. My spouse loved the grilled exterior of the octopus. I was sorry we did not order 2 of them. Salome our server was wonderful. Her suggestions about the food and wine were spot on. Her only mistake was not suggesting that I order my own octopus appetizer... Still we hope she is our server when we return. Our next time will be for dinner in order to enjoy their full menu.“
