“Luis Fernando was absolutely amazing! From the moment we arrived, Luis and his entire team were incredibly attentive and made sure we were well taken care of. The team was very professional when bringing the different meats to the table, presenting everything properly and making sure we never felt overlooked.

Luis was also a fantastic host and really helped make the night feel like more than just another dinner out. He was friendly, social, and made the experience feel like a true pastime with great conversation and energy. He also recommended some incredibly tasty dishes for us to try, which made the meal even more enjoyable.

Overall, the service, food, and atmosphere were outstanding. Luis, and the whole team made our night very memorable. We truly felt welcomed and taken care of from beginning to end.

“Nice atmosphere but very busy. Food at most was mediocre and Luis our server was the best in addition to being attentive.
Black Cod was okay, my husband enjoyed it. The cod was cooked perfectly and the potato cake had just enough crunch on the outside nice and moist on the inside. Beautiful dish 🙂
Waygu beef va de vi burger was “okay” the brioche bun that it was served on was saturated with butter and it wasn’t the freshest as it crumbled when I cut it in half.
Brussel sprouts were very good flavored with bacon, walnuts and lemon, absolutely delicious 🙂“

“Myself and a friend were looking for an ice cream joint in the Walnut Creek area, and happen to come across this place.

The owner is very friendly. We tried a variety of flavors, and then ended up getting the Roasted Cashew, Lemon Creme and the Strawberry.

The ice cream was very creamy and thick, with the right amout of sweetness. Extremely tasty. I always try ice cream at local joints, and this one exceeded all expectations. Will definitely come back, if I am in the area.“

Had Lamb Vindaloo, Chicken Tikka and Veggie Korma with Butter Naan and Indian Pickles, so we kept it simple. Great flavors and everything was very fresh and hot. Restaurant well lit and very pleasant decor, and service was excellent. Highly recommend.“

“This is the closest food joint to the hospital and I’ve never been greeted with such kindness and warmth. The owner and even the cooks and other workers are so familiar with all of the customers. Their stories, their family, all of it and it’s so refreshing to see such a positive environment during people’s difficult days from the hospital. 10/10 to the owners and staff. “went to Havana with my friends and had such an amazing experience! Right off the bat, our hostess Carla was so inviting, friendly, and welcoming. She immediately set the tone for a great night.

Our waitress Patty was soooo kind, friendly, and warm. She made us feel so comfortable and genuinely cared about making sure we had a great experience. Our meal was delicious, and the mojitos were SO good! Everything from the food and drinks to the service made for such an awesome experience.

“Really solid dumpling spot in downtown Walnut Creek. Dumpling Hours has more of a casual, old-school local restaurant vibe, which I personally liked. It is not the kind of place that feels super fancy or overly polished, but that actually made it feel more authentic and comfortable to me.

The food was the best part. The xiao long bao were juicy and flavorful, and I really enjoyed the larger dumplings as well. They were filling without feeling too heavy, and they had that satisfying handmade dumpling texture. One dish that stood out more than I expected was the wood ear mushroom salad. It was fresh, light, and had a nice texture that balanced really well with the dumplings.

Service was pretty typical for a busy dim sum-style restaurant: straightforward, quick, and not overly chatty, but totally fine for the type of place it is. I actually don’t mind that when the food comes out hot and the meal moves smoothly.

Overall, I liked the local feel of the restaurant and would definitely come back when I’m in the mood for xiao long bao and dumplings. It is a nice option to have in Walnut Creek, especially if you want something casual, comforting, and different from the usual downtown restaurant choices.“

I like to get out and try new places but yet I always find myself coming back to VB2 for amazing food, drinks, staff, and atmosphere. It’s my favorite place to take friends that have never tried it. If you want to impress in a casual way it’s perfect for a first date or girls night out too. Try the Claypot Rice Or Prawns with mango and garlic butter noodles! “I really like Pancoast. Wife is a newyorker and Pancoast’s pizza style is right up her alley. They have 4 tap beers and they’re some of the best in Norcal - nice to see somebody cares about great beer. I order to go, get a beer at the bar, and take home. They’re seemingly busy all the time so Pancoast has a following.

Parking sucks, they have to share with their neighboring businesses so plan to get a spot on the street.“
