“I really like Pancoast. Wife is a newyorker and Pancoast’s pizza style is right up her alley. They have 4 tap beers and they’re some of the best in Norcal - nice to see somebody cares about great beer. I order to go, get a beer at the bar, and take home. They’re seemingly busy all the time so Pancoast has a following.

Parking sucks, they have to share with their neighboring businesses so plan to get a spot on the street.“

“I suggest you do NOT use online TOAST ordering during peak times or do NOT promote it without being honest about wait times. Today I ordered on Toast today expecting about a 20 minute wait and AFTER I had ordered AND paid for it, the online told me that I had a 1 hour and 20 minute wait! I went in and was told that was correct and that I needed to wait for an hour still for ONE sandwich. Staff was rude to me for the first time ever. You are GREAT but you need to do better with your online. I eat there at least once a week - I left and did not go back to pick up my $10.95 sandwich - hope someone enjoyed it. In fact I DID get a text telling me that my order was ready (it was an hour after I ordered). By then I was home, made my own sandwich and walked my dog!“

I brought a friend for lunch today, to say the least, it was a very enjoyable experience, the food was excellent and very tasty, great atmosphere, the workers attentive and polite, as we were new they suggested what to eat, their choices were great. “This is hands down the best Mr. Pickles shop in all its entirety. Customer service is top notch and the sandwiches are made with pride. You can call in your order and your sandwich is ready within 10 mins. Nice and tight. Not all messy or being judged on how your sandwich will be made. I highly recommend this place and appreciate how nice and friendly the staff is. Kudos to all of them. A lot of other sandwich spots should learn from this place!“

“I came just after closing on a Sunday night and the owners son was so loving and accommodating to me and my pregnant wife. He opened up for us and made us a delicious cheese pizza. This kind of loving service is almost nonexistent in today’s society. Thank you guys so much.“

“Planned a “Girls Trip” to San Francisco and arriving late in the evening. I knew we’d be hungry and wasn’t sure what would be open and didn’t want fast food. So I pre ordered their “To Go Box” Raquel was absolutely helpful and professional when corresponding to my inquiries. Had it delivered directly to the hotel and it was waiting at the front desk (refrigerated in the back) when we arrived. The hotel staff said this was the best and most beautiful charcuterie box she has ever seen! Oh how we enjoyed it once we were up in our room! Highly recommend and would definitely order from them again when in town!“

“It's nice to have this place as a relatively healthier dining option in downtown Walnut Creek. There are enough menu choices to suit your own taste. They are tasty and served with enough portions.

The crew are friendly and fast, but they often make mistakes with people's orders. :(

While the ambience is nice and modern, it needs major upkeep. The tables are sticky and not cleaned by the crew. Same goes with their restrooms.“

“I was honestly surprised when I saw the low ratings online, especially since the place is always so busy! That curiosity is exactly what made me want to come and try it for myself.
The atmosphere was wonderful, and the staff were incredibly welcoming and polite. I ordered the Peruvian Steak sandwich, and it was exceptionally fresh and delicious—you can easily tell they use high-quality, premium ingredients. I also paired it with one of their house-made craft drinks, and the one I chose was absolutely amazing!
The only downside was the portion size; the sandwich was quite small, and I really didn't expect it to be that tiny. However, the quality, incredible flavor, and delicious drink definitely make it worth a visit. If you prioritize taste and fresh ingredients over huge portions, I highly recommend it!“

“I was heading to the Pink Stallion out the end of Clayton road to drop off a big box of strap-on thingamabobs to the Lady's Auxiliary for their annual Gathering of She Bears, when I passed by the West Coast Sourdough Delicatessen. What luck! I whipped it on in faster than big Mabel Hatley in a sorority full of Georgia Peaches!
